"I had a great stay at this hotel in Darwin. The property is very welcoming, and the room I stayed in was particularly large and spacious, perfect for both short and long stays. It features a small balcony, which is great for getting some fresh air and relaxing, as well as a fridge, kettle, and a practical kitchenette with cupboards, which is very handy if you want to be self-sufficient. The continental breakfast is included and offers a good variety. Plus, you can request a full English breakfast if you prefer something more substantial. Another definite plus is the staff, who were always very friendly, helpful, and attentive to guests' needs, making the stay even more enjoyable. The hotel's location is convenient: you can reach Darwin Waterfront, one of the city's most beautiful and lively areas, in about a 15-minute walk. It's perfect for a stroll, a meal, or relaxing by the sea. There's also a large supermarket nearby, which is very useful for buying groceries or other items during your stay. Overall, I highly recommend this accommodation for its good balance of comfort, amenities, and location."

"Novotel Airport Darwin is a typical airport hotel. They run an on demand shuttle to & from the airport terminal which is very handy, and only a short distance away. The rooms are simple, clean and functional. In room tea & coffee is provided, and there was fresh milk in the fridge. I opted to include breakfast in my booking, which was very good. Lots of choices, including traditional cooked breakfast, lots of bread options (some gluten free), yogurt, fruit and pastries. If you're on the run they provide take away cups for hot beverages, which is a nice touch. Overall I would happily stay here again."

"Generally, the hotel serve as a good location for day trips to out of Darwin. There are public parking lots outside the hotel which are free, as there are limited lots within the hotel's open air parking compound except the underground. There are limited amenities except a small pool. The room are very basic but the balcony added a good atmosphere for dining with a view."

"Perfect hotel location for our needs since it is very close to the airport and the Marrara sport complex (10-15 min walk) in which our event took place. What we love most: very clean hotel room, convenient park ing spot right in front of our unit at an extra cost, great pool facility and some restaurant and coffee shop option on site. The room we booked was really spacious. We had a very pleasant stay."

"I came here to play when there were fewer people and I avoided the peak hours. The environment was pretty good, the room was clean, and the staff was very nice. It is worth recommending and I will come again in the future."

"We checked in at Oaks Elan on 21 November 2025, the day before Cyclone Fina hit Darwin. My husband and I were impressed how the staff kept us informed of what was happening. During breakfast on 22 November, we were told by the manager that the restaurant will be closed until further notice because they have to let the staff go home to be with the family when cyclone hit. We were told to pack whatever food we want from the restaurant to last us for lunch, dinner and possibly breakfast for the next day. We were glad we didn’t go hungry when there was no where to get food when everything was closed. The manager who held the fort on the day and the next day did a very superb job! He rolled up the sleeve and did everything himself when he was obviously very short staff."
