"Nice hotel a little away from town center but only 10 minute walk. We had a nice view from the 4th floor. Breakfast was included, a little basic but still sufficient. Pool towels were also available for free."

"Superior location. The hotel has good facilities. In front of the gate is the river. It's safe, too. I do a lot of running in the morning. Next to it is a new shopping mall. Later, I found that there are many noodles to eat. You can also see the scenery outside. Very good."

"Everything about Club Tropical Resort in the month of February, where the weather is consistently warm, humid and wet, is a complete joy to a visitor from Melbourne. The rooms are clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the ability to entertain friends and family are outstanding. The pool is the centerpiece of the whole site, where I spent many hours during my 7 day stay. For anyone who thinks it is too far away from the city of Darwin, there are supermarkets and the entire Casuarina shopping centre within a 5 minute drive. If it is wilderness you want, the resort is right next to that too with Buffalo Creek and Lee Point only a walk away. Parking is great, the restaurant was fantastic, and I am struggling to find anything wrong with my stay. But there was one thing - it was not long enough!"

"I think the room is very good. There are various large and small cups, plates and bowls, knife and fork in the house. It is very convenient to use various tools. Whether it is cooking by yourself or something, and this 2 kilometers walk to the museum. It is very convenient to go to the supermarket to buy things. , then eat swimming pool, there is a restaurant inside the hotel to call a taxi and the web to the airport is also very convenient, in short, it is cheap and good"

"Was a nice hotel with a good location and view for the price. Buffet breakfast was beautiful and the staff were very helpful and gave us a walk through of what they had to offer. Although the storm shut off the power as soon as we got there they were right on to fix the problem"

"Excellent location in the heart of CBD. Huge Woolsworth store and restaurants within walking distance. Mattress was little too hard and pillows were flat n musty. Cab ride from airport was abt $35 and 20 mins away."

"The Mercure is the pick of the Darwin Airport hotels and they capitalize on their airport location by cranking up the price. Also our flight came into Darwin after midnight and the airport shuttle phone number they provided was unanswered so we endured the 9 minute walk from the airport with our cases. Checked in about 1:00 and requested a late check out. The hotel had plenty of availability but they still charged $60 for the privilege. Rooms are comfortable but looking a bit tatty now. Even so we had a nice , but short stay"

"Novotel Airport Darwin is a typical airport hotel. They run an on demand shuttle to & from the airport terminal which is very handy, and only a short distance away. The rooms are simple, clean and functional. In room tea & coffee is provided, and there was fresh milk in the fridge. I opted to include breakfast in my booking, which was very good. Lots of choices, including traditional cooked breakfast, lots of bread options (some gluten free), yogurt, fruit and pastries. If you're on the run they provide take away cups for hot beverages, which is a nice touch. Overall I would happily stay here again."

"Generally, the hotel serve as a good location for day trips to out of Darwin. There are public parking lots outside the hotel which are free, as there are limited lots within the hotel's open air parking compound except the underground. There are limited amenities except a small pool. The room are very basic but the balcony added a good atmosphere for dining with a view."

"Was expecting more given the price we paid, apparently already considered low season. The pool lagoon was disappointing and expected higher standards, more staff and cleanliness. Hotel restaurant food expensive unless gambling and apparently would have great discount. Room service was good and value for money. Expected small amenities like free bottled water to be more generous given the heat. Apparently just 2 bottles per check in although we stayed 2 nights . Bathroom and toiletries reasonable although bathroom door had a drum which made it inconvenient to open as door swung closed automatically .."
