Nice hotel and ready to go hotel if you return back to Malaysia from Bandar Bentan Tilani Ferry Terminal because the hotel is nearest from the jetty. The hotel also near to small market, foodcourt, spa, and rental transport services. The staffs also kind and polite! I love how they treated us so well. The room and breakfast are good. Nice for anyone have work in lagoi, Bintan.

Everything at the resort was incredibly systematic and well-organized, resulting in a completely frustration-free stay. We arrived at 12 PM and were pleasantly surprised to receive our room for an early check-in at 1 PM after a minimal wait! We opted for the 6-activity package—a great value according to my husband—which included a fantastic 2-hour karaoke session and access to the kids' indoor playground. We highly recommend the 6-activity package; it kept us thoroughly engaged throughout our 3-day, 2-night stay. The resort's punctuality was excellent: our in-room couple's massage therapists arrived exactly on time, and the fire for our 6:30 PM outdoor BBQ was already set up by 6 PM. The sound proof is not so good especially when the kids sleep at the teepee materials but when they are tired they still can fall asleep fast just that the next door kids wake up so early. Have to expect sound as it is glamping.

Thank you Doulos Phos Hotel, for the unforgettable experience! My friends and I truly enjoyed our stay on your ship. From the moment we arrived, we felt a warm welcome. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was abundant with food that reminded us of home in the Philippines, something we’ve really missed. The receptionists were very hospitable and guided us well on what to do during our stay. The pool was unique and aesthetic, and what amazed us most was the ship’s rich history, especially how it has touched many lives through charity. A special thanks also to the captain who gave us a tour of the ship (I even wondered if he’s a real captain!) On our last day, despite the bad weather, and although our check-out was scheduled for 12:00 PM, our ferry departure was not until 6:45 PM. The reception staff graciously allowed us to remain in our room until 5:00 PM. This thoughtful gesture meant a great deal to us and made us feel valued and cared for. Overall, our experience exceeded expectations. We are grateful to all the staff of Doulos Phos Hotel for their kindness and professionalism. Saw some negative review from Google or Trip.com, but I still decided to choose for this resort because of the locations. Also, that after spoke with the driver and I know that the view of the beach of this resort is actually the best one in bintan. It’s quite expensive to eat inside the resort, especially the Indian food at night. I went to the Chinese restaurant, but we didn’t order the seafood. The waiter is very helpful and very nice and polite. We order for the medium person, but he advised us not to choose that because the portion is really big.

It’s our first time and definitely not the last. Everything was great from the buggy in, to the size of the very clean room, to the baby cot that was already provided in the room and room service. Only thing I’d suggest for improvement is the massage place is too near the restaurant and live bar. There was loud music when we went for our spa retreat and the music dampened the quietness and chill mood we wanted for the spa and massage. I would suggest to move it further away or install sound proofing walls for the tent. Other than that, quite a perfect stay. We didn’t have enough time to explore the activities centre as it was for kids aged 3 and above. One last thing, everything is chargeable for rent which I feel certain things could have been provided for less cost or free. Like bicycles to get around the very large lagoon or kick scooters. Their 2/3 wheelers were fully rented out and not cheap to rent too.

Managed to book this resort for a reasonable price. The room is okay, with everything a traveler needs. Good that it comes with a balcony. The resort has activities for guests to participate in. There's a free shuttle; you should email in advance to inform them of your need. Most of the food and drinks here are pricey, as this area is generally for tourists, so be prepared to pay more.

We stayed here for three days with our family and booked two Grand Deluxe rooms and one Deluxe room. The rooms were spacious, each equipped with a sofa bed, which was very convenient when traveling with kids. The location is excellent, surrounded by Lagoi Plaza, a lake, and a beach, and it’s only about a 12-minute drive to Treasure Bay. Breakfast was decent, and we appreciated that there was porridge suitable for babies. The only issue we encountered was the restroom sliding door, which tended to get stuck easily, but the staff were very friendly and quick to assist. Additionally, there is a free playground and a swimming pool on the 7th floor with a beautiful view—we really loved it. Overall, it was an awesome family getaway

1. Well-equipped apartment. Safe, ironing equipment, umbrella, beach bag, crockery, cutleries, pot and pan and best of all – extremely comfortable bed and pillows and new air-conditioners! 2. Clean and modern interior. A few small flying insects that got into the room (inevitable due to the surrounding garden/forests and opening of doors) but thankfully, didn’t encounter any mosquitoes or ants in the apartment – what a relief! Fogging in the common areas is done twice a week – Tues and Thur late nights. Didn’t detect any unpleasant drainage smell in the toilet/shower so I’m perfectly happy with my assigned Queen Suite apartment! 3. Balcony views: (i) Block 1 is beach front apartments with full sea view (ii) Block 2 is made up of two sections: one section faces the Garden and the other section faces the Car-park (iii) Blocks 3 and 4 have either (i) Garden view - with partial sea view on highest floor) OR, (ii) Forest view – with partial sea view too on highest floor). (iv) Block 5 on the top floors have distant sea view (this block is on a slope and furthest from the reception and pool) 4. Friendly staff. My requests were attended to swiftly. 5. Private beach (shared among the 3 resorts there) is reasonably clean with fairly clear sea (there’re jelly fish warning signages). 6. Pool at Cassia is smaller but newer and cleaner than at Angsana. A new pool bar construction is currently being carried out in front of Cassia’s pool and the hoarding blocks the beautiful sea view from the infinity pool until mid Nov – what a pity! 7. Adequate breakfast spread but houseflies and birds were spotted in the restaurant – made me worry about the hygiene level 8. Various English movie channels but screen resolution was poor and images often lagged for a few seconds – makes the movie watching experience tiresome and annoying. Only the International news and Singapore channels did not suffer from lags/poor image quality 9. Some of the building and lift direction signs in the different apartment blocks are puzzling and confusing – the signs are probably very clear ONLY to the people who planned/designed them - certainly NOT easily understood by foreign guests! You need to get into the correct lifts in different buildings to reach the blocks furthest from the reception (to avoid climbing any stairs or slopes eg blocks 4 and 5). I only figured out the various sheltered linkways/correct lifts after a few trial and errors, lol! 10. Credit card is needed for room deposit during check in even if room cost was already paid in advance during online booking: 4 Million Indonesian Rupiah per apartment per night

Beautiful beachfront chalets, stunning sunsets, and warm, attentive staff. Peaceful setting — a true getaway!

Service staff was friendly and smiley. They upgraded us to a suite which was very much appreciated. I have indicated that the stay was for my son's Birthday and was welcomed by the nice decoration and cake which my son enjoyed very much. The Kids Club is quite small. Varieties for breakfast can be improved and the restaurant felt uncomfortably warm with some flies flying around. The massage at the spa was good and we were served a nice pot of tea with yogurt and fruits after treatment.
