TTema GWe stayed at the Stonewood Hotel in Vagator for the weekend (Saturday–Sunday). The hotel is located in Goa's party district, where parties and events are held, and if you're looking for a good night's sleep, this isn't the place for you. The music and bass from nearby parties were blaring right into the room, making it nearly impossible to sleep, even with earplugs or headphones. On the other hand, the hotel itself is very pleasant: the rooms are clean and cozy, there's a pool, beautiful sunset views, and a convenient descent to the ocean. Breakfast is modest, with a limited selection, but everything is fresh. There are several beach clubs nearby on the beach where you can find affordable and delicious food. A particularly interesting feature was the stone carving of Shiva's face on the beach. The hotel offers reasonably priced taxis, and the location is convenient for trips to local markets. The staff is friendly and helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, especially the views, service, and daytime atmosphere, but be aware of the bustling nightlife if you're planning a vacation with a good night's sleep.
