We stayed at Agra suites in Naples, Italy for 2 nights, great location amazing staff , super clean and incredible looking room , great amenities. Loved everything about this place. Bagio the owner was so attentive so nice . i highly recommend this place to stay if you go to Naples !

This is the best you can imagine in Naples, to be in its very center, a step away from the Royal Palace and the San Carlo Opera. A small hotel, converted from a huge apartment, is located on the 4th floor of the Umberto 1 Gallery, built in the late 19th century. You need to enter through the arch from the side of Via Toledo. The door to the entrance is on the left. The ancient staircase is equipped with an elevator. The owner is friendly, very nice, he was waiting for us, but we realized that it would be better to inform in advance about the time of our arrival, since he is not there constantly, but only placed and gave us the keys and a coupon for food in the cafe under our room, we did not see him anymore. The 4 m high rooms have preserved authentic doors and windows, Mettlach floor tiles, stucco cornices of the ceilings. The French balcony of our room with huge arched windows looked directly into the space of a cross-shaped gallery, covered with a high glass roof. Everything in the room is very clean, new. We are happy that we settled so conveniently and close to the opera house we came to.

Great place by the beach, perfect location

It's a hotel with a sense of the times, and the waiters at the door are all uncles and aunties. Is this a state-owned enterprise? It's quite interesting how there are so many elderly friends working.

We recently stayed at the Hotel Royal Continental in Naples from January 7 to January 9, 2025, and our overall experience was very positive. Location & Safety The hotel is located in one of the safest and most touristic areas of Naples, right on Via Partenope, facing the sea and Castel dell'Ovo. Naples, as a city, is still evolving into a true tourist destination. The city is making significant improvements to attract more visitors, and you can feel that transition happening. This particular area where the hotel is located feels very safe, thanks to continuous police presence. We saw officers patrolling on foot and by car at all hours of the day and night, which gave us peace of mind. The neighborhood is also filled with excellent restaurants offering a wide range of quality food at reasonable prices. Of course, not every place is great, but there are many good options within walking distance. Additionally, the historic center and most major tourist attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. You can take a leisurely stroll and reach the main sights in under an hour. Room & Comfort The seafront location of the hotel is outstanding. The view from our room was beautiful, and we loved opening the panoramic window to let in the fresh sea breeze in the morning and evening. It’s a wonderful way to start and end your day. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with a level of luxury comparable to a 4-star European hotel. However, it's important to note that European hotel standards are different from those in the U.S.. By American standards, this hotel would be closer to a 3-star property. Despite this, the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room daily and replacing towels. Service & Atmosphere The hotel staff is professional and polite, but interactions felt a bit robotic and mechanical. It seemed like they were following routines rather than making genuine connections with guests. That said, room cleanliness was good, and we appreciated the attention to detail in that regard. One thing that stood out is the hotel’s nostalgic 1950s vibe. The hotel seems proud of its mid-century charm, which they promote through signs and advertisements around the property. If you enjoy that type of retro atmosphere, you’ll appreciate this hotel. Breakfast Experience The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The dining room overlooks the sea, which makes for a lovely breakfast setting. There are several breakfast stations with a wide variety of options, and the food quality was great. Waiters clean the tables and take care of guests throughout breakfast service, which adds a nice touch. We were very satisfied with the overall breakfast experience. Final Thoughts Overall, Hotel Royal Continental is a solid choice for staying in Naples. The location is its biggest strength, offering stunning views, proximity to restaurants, and easy access to the historic center. it provides a comfortable and memorable experience with beautiful sea views and a nostalgic atmosphere. Would we stay here again? Yes, for the views, location, and breakfast!

3 minutes walking from Naples Central Station. Very clean room. All items in the cool box are complimentary. Surrounding area seems not safe especially at night. Several halal restaurants around. Basic breakfast provided

The room was very clean, with a small balcony overlooking the street. The shower was small, but it had a door that closed, so showering didn't flood the bathroom, which was reassuring. Fresh towels were provided daily, and the room could be cleaned daily upon request. The breakfast selection was extensive, including hot coffee, yogurt, sweet breads and cakes, and savory options. The elevator, while small, easily accommodated three people, and there was plenty of space for one person with two suitcases. The elevator requires coins at certain times, but don't worry, they are available at the front desk. Luggage storage was completely trouble-free. Finally, I'd like to express my special thanks to the two friendly front desk staff who assisted me. My luggage was delayed by the airline, and I called the airport several times to check on its status. Due to the language barrier, communication was difficult, and both staff made these calls for me. The front desk staff, especially the one we met on our first day, were very helpful and helpful in making calls to the airport and the courier company, helping me clarify the situation and locate my luggage. This was crucial in helping me retrieve it. Overall, I was very satisfied with this B&B and would recommend it to my friends.
