"I feel bad for all the touristic place in Jordan, not having enough tourists, most of the restaurants and guest houses are literally empty. We only had 3 guests the night that I stayed. However, the room was really, really hot, and there was only one window to let the air. I had to complain to the reception woman who called her manager to have the AC on for a couple of hours. Even 1 guest should be treated as a guest. I understand the no people situation but still. Location was excellent though. I would stay again because of this reason."

"The hotel is right outside of Petra entrance. 5 minutes walk into the archeological site. Overall, location, service, cleanliness, food are excellent!"

"Beautiful interior, love the ambiance of lobby lounge and Al Iwan restaurant, food is delicious! Excellent location, just opposite Petra Visitor Centre, ATM can be found next to the Centre and only charge a small fee compared to ATM at airport. Unfortunately, not every superior room comes with a balcony therefore i don’t see what’s the difference compared to classic category. And AC/heater in room smell like kitchen, not sure because our room was just above the back kitchen. After all, it’s a mixed feeling about the hotel."

"The room was tidy and clean. The hotel arranged free shuttle service to Petra and it was really convenient. The staff there were extremely helpful and nice. They even arranged a new year party for us. Such a great hotel. Highly recommended."

"My stay in Marriot Petra is beyond my expectations. The location is great, you could see nice views of Petra from the swimming pool in the hotel. Plus the hotel is super quiet and peaceful ❤️ The staff are super kind, friendly and attentive. Special thanks to Mr. Mohammed , the assistant manager in the front office , he is a very kind and friendly person, delivering a great service and kind attitude when interacting with the guest .
