Although the hotel is located in an industrial area and the surroundings are quiet and dim, the room is surprisingly spacious for Japan. It even comes with a private onsen in the room and on the rooftop with views. The best part is the unlimited refreshments available in the lounge.

This is my second stay at Natural Hot Spring Ariston Hotel Oita, and it continues to be a comfortable and reliable choice. The natural hot spring remains the highlight—clean, relaxing, and especially soothing after a long day. Rooms are compact yet well-kept, with comfortable beds and everything needed for a pleasant stay. Cleanliness is consistently good, and the overall atmosphere is quiet and restful. The staff are polite and attentive, making the experience smooth and stress-free. Its convenient location near Oita Station is another reason I returned, with easy access to restaurants and convenience stores. Breakfast is simple but satisfying, offering a good start to the day. Overall: A dependable hotel I would happily return to again—great value for money, excellent onsen facilities, and a practical location for both business and leisure stays.

This was a nice hotel in a very good location. There are lots of restaurants and places to drink nearby. The hotel itself was very clean but it didn't have an internal smoking area, although there were plenty of smoking areas outside the hotel. The room was a small one but there are very comfortable beds.

Opinions from a female asian solo traveler. Around 10 mins walk from Oita station, acceptable distance to me. Have convenient stores in the area but not many restaurants, better go back to Oita station or Amu plaza oita for food. The front desk is very helpful. The hotel is a bit small and old but very clean and quiet. Particularly appreciate their shower water is hot enough. I stayed on the 4th floor and could hear street sounds occasionally but acceptable. Overall, affordable prices and needs are fulfilled.

The hotel is a bit old, but it maintains the cleanliness characteristic of Japanese hotels, and the breakfast it provides is excellent and exceeds expectations. The traditional hot spring bath on the first floor is a nice touch, and there's a Lawson convenience store and a bento shop right across the street, making it very convenient.

I arrived at the room during the scorching heat of the Obon holiday, but they informed me that I could use the room earlier than the check-in time, and the air conditioner was on when I arrived, so I was able to stay comfortably. The room was spacious, and there was a drum-type washing machine, so I was able to choose my travel clothes, which was very helpful.

Hotel 10 minutes walk from the he station and only a minute walk from the ocean, clean and compact rooms

Japan style Hotel with modern touch.. they have once and hot bath and spa. Toothbrush and saving razor is provided.. they provide lockers for keeping shoes and keeping your luggage. You cannot keep your luggage after checkout that restrict Hotel policy.

Location is not too bad, a short walk from the train station for a more affordable room. Staff are helpful and the lobby has a lot of facilities like amenities rack, microwave, hot water dispenser .etc. Breakfast was sufficient and there were more people staying in the property than I expected.
