GGuest UserI'm very pleased with my stay in this ryokan. The staff speaks English quite well. Spacious rooms in traditional Japanese style with futons as beds and have a kotatsu. In-house onsen is on the level of great onsens of the town, with outdoor parts, which are most cozy that have the addition of cold water bath for contrast experience. The location is a little bit farther from the center and all onsen locations, but after 4p.m. you can take a ride on the shuttle minibus for free to a number of fixed locations. Free soda, tea and fruit ice in lounge area, massage chairs also free.

GGuest UserBy far the best hotel/resort experience I ever encountered. Not only did we travel with a family of 5 but we had 10 luggage’s in total which they helped to organise and deliver to our room even though it was really heavy. Accommodated to everything that we need and asked and super welcoming. The small details that they would do have imprinted in my memories for life e.g remembering which shoes we had, prepared our slippers, explaining our meals and providing a blanket without us asking. I hope this reaches out to the manager who put the most effort to making sure we were happy and looked after. We would all recommend this place to our families and friends. 1000/10 S+++

XXiaoliaozaiciIt's really great. The service, food and rooms are very cost-effective. The Japanese service is meticulous and it has thought of everything you can think of. The kaiseki cuisine is also quite ceremonial. This is not the most expensive hotel I have stayed in in Japan, but it is definitely the most satisfactory one.

GGuest UserThis is the fourth time I have stayed here. When you come to Kinosaki, you must stay at Tajimaya. The warm hospitality from the proprietress and the staff, as well as the rich accommodation and two meals, were very satisfying. Please note that each room can only accommodate one child under 6 years old

GGuest UserI stayed here for one night with my husband and our 9-year-old daughter, and we loved our visit. The hotel was accommodating and allowed us to store our luggage as we arrived early. Our room was very clean, the staff were attentive, and we could tell they wanted us to have a nice stay. The location was perfect - set back on a quiet street but right in the middle of all the onsens and shopping. We opted for the crab dinner, and it was an absolute feast. We ate for hours and still couldn't finish everything. They asked if we wanted to keep it for breakfast (which, of course, we did), so they served it in the morning along with the breakfast they planned. It was wonderful. They have a small onsen in the building, which was nice because the three of us could enjoy one bath together before going to the gender-separated onsens in town. I highly recommend staying here for a lovely and authentic Japanese experience.
