Our recent stay at Ujo Soan was, without exaggeration, the finest hospitality experience I have encountered in my 20 years of traveling across Japan. From the moment we arrived, the level of service was nothing short of superb. There are three highlights that made our stay truly unforgettable: 1. Exceptional Culinary Surprise: We were deeply touched by the hotel's generosity in providing a complimentary upgrade to the prestigious ”Tsuiyama Blue Label Crab” set. The quality of the crab and the meticulous preparation were world-class—a true gastronomic journey. 2. Breathtaking Sunset Views: Spending time at the Lounge ”AO” on the 8th floor of Bettei Fuka was a spiritual experience. Watching the sunset over the Kyotango coastline with a drink in hand is a memory we will cherish forever. 3. Outstanding Service (Sakura-san): A special mention must go to Sakura-san. Her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail were exemplary. She anticipated our every need and represents the very best of Japanese Omotenashi. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Mr. Yasuhiko Okita and the General Manager, Mr. Nakanishi, for maintaining such an incredible standard of excellence. If you are looking for a sanctuary that combines luxury, nature, and heartfelt service, Ujo Soan is the only choice. We cannot wait to return.

We really liked the beauty of the place, the cleanliness of the hotel, the friendly hall staff, and so you can really relax.The Breakfast was really delicious. This hotel is a highly recommended.

This place blew us away. The location was close to the beach where we had a swim and the onsen at the location was the finest I had ever experienced. The room had a tatami area for sleeping and a little dining and cooking nook that we ended up using each day. The meals at the various restaurants were delicious and accompanied by stunning views of the hills and sea. We had such a restful time here that we would definitely wish to return.

First time coming here in Kyototango, the northern part of Kyoto. Quite a relaxing and tranquil place with nice views of the ocean. You can feel the enthusiasm and attitude of all of the staff here, from the staff guiding to the parking spaces, through the reception where you will be served with welcome drinks and sweet, and then they will guide you to your room with full explanation of all of the facilities provided in this hotel - the onsens, dining hall, reception lounge (where you can have free drinks of sake), another nearby lounge with magnificent view of the ocean where you can sit down and relax and having some sweet, snack and beer and wine, etc. Regarding onsens, there are 6 private onsens (5 free and 1 to be reserved with a fee) where you can experience. Highly recommended for everyone hoping for a relax and calm trip and stay here in Kyototango!

A truly beautiful hotel! Everything from the architecture to the view outside the windows is top-notch. The staff are polite and welcoming, and even though we don't speak much Japanese, they patiently explain everything to us. The rooms are full of thoughtful touches, and there are plenty of complimentary drinks and amenities. If I ever come to visit Japan again, I'll definitely bring my family to stay here for longer. ありがとうございます♪

Quiet Area, nice enviroment, great hotel. We love the place, hope to come back in my future visit this area. Initially we booked the bunk bed room and we didn't noticed that this room doesn't come with the in room bathroom, and the receptionist very helpful and explain to us that the toilet and bathroom are outside and shower need to go up another floor, we though was inconvenience for us and she let us look at the other room types and let us exchange the room. We really appreciate her help and unconditioned service. Thank you Kissuien Stay&Food. We did enjoy our dinner in the hotel restaurant and the foods is stunning. Our family love it very much. We also enjoy our breakfast in the hotel too. we love both breakfast and dinner.

The facade is unremarkable. As soon as you enter the check-in auditorium, you will be deeply attracted by the view of the large glass and leave a very good impression. You can also see a deer grazing in the Japanese garden outside the window. The lobby is generally very comfortable. The room I stayed in is a Japanese mixed Western style. It is comfortable, but the wardrobe is behind the bed. It is a bit difficult to get in and out of clothes. The view of the open-air hot spring is a little thinner. The dinner is a full crab feast, which is very plentiful and delicious. I highly recommend it, but it is a bit more expensive when viewing cherry blossoms in the peak season.

Spacious clean room and comfortable beds with sea view, very, nice and helpful staff especially the one speaking English (thanks for helping), free easy parking, very good half board meals, wonderful onsen inside room, reasonable room rate, will come back again for sure.

Very spacious room and kind owner! Will want to come back again. I think winter here will be better with the crabs etc.

It was very clean and easy to spend. Also, I was surprised that each amenities were abundant. However, it was a pity that the voice from the next room was leaking １ points.
