"Super value for money. No complaints. Parking is valet with no extra to pay. DIY laundry keeps all clothes dry and cleaned for multiple days of exploration in beautiful Gangneung! Staff recommended good eating places for grilled pork and beef. Don’t miss the gimbaps!"
"The service surpasses our expectations. The staff are polite, efficient, and always ready to help. Special credit goes to General Manager Hong who speaks good English and would always walk an extra mile to give us assistance. The environment is commendable. The hotel is clean and comfortable with a chic design. The room is brightly lit and spacious. We appreciate the practical design, such as power points conveniently equipped right in front of the working table. We like the cozy meeting area on G/F where we can gather for a chat and savor a cup of complimentary tea or coffee. Besides, we recommend the Italian restaurant, Brother & Brother, on the 9/F. The menu mainly offers pizza, pasta and risotto. Breakfast, which must be booked in advance, include orange juice, coffee, cereal and a sumptuous sandwich fully packed with healthful vegetables, egg, ham and cheese. Anyway, the food is delicious, sometimes with a Korean twist. It is good value for money. The restaurant also has a good view overlooking the mountains and the wind turbines from afar. Overall, we are very satisfied with The HongC Hotel. The stay was pleasant and happy. "
The Gangneung Gyeongpo Cabin Pension is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Gangneung Gyeongpo Cabin Pension offers a pleasant stay in Gangneung-si for those traveling for business or leisure. The hotel is conveniently located just 4km from Gangneung Station and 35km from Yangyang International Airport. Seeing Gangneung-si's sights from this hotel is easy with Seongyojang House, Gyeongpo Aquarium and Ojukheon all close by. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. There's never a dull moment at this hotel, our guests indicate that the facilities are excellent.
"1. Pros: Good price, convenient location if you drive (next to Gyeongpo Lake), convenient parking (large parking lot), friendly owner, water purifier and microwave on each floor, good for heating food, hot water comes out well 2. Cons: Central heating, so if you don't tell the counter, it can be a bit hot (there is air conditioning in each room), cleaning or towel change must be requested separately (they don't come in and do it randomly, which may be an advantage) Since it's an old place that was remodeled, there are traces of time on the fixtures, etc., but I think it's a great place for the price!! The most satisfying thing was the convenient parking."
"The location seems really good There are restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so it's convenient The price was better than the hotels nearby The price is good, but the facilities are not bad However, the water pressure was weak, and I was a little confused because they said I had to buy bathroom slippers separately The room was warm and draft-free, and the bedding was also clean and nice I checked in early, so it was convenient to use the parking lot I think there are a lot of parking places nearby I think I'll use it again on my next trip I had a comfortable stay 😄"
"This was my first time using self-check-in, so I wasn't used to it, but I was able to check in without difficulty. The room was clean and quiet, and the next morning, I toasted my own bread in the toaster on the first floor. There was parking for five cars in front of the building, one of which was equipped with an electric vehicle charging station."
"Excellent hygiene, quiet environment, detached house, very large, very warm, stayed 3 days temperature between -3 to 4 degrees, the house has underfloor heating 👍👍👍, as for the location for a personal tour of me absolutely no problem, but the nearest convenience store walk to about twenty minutes"
"The hotel was so nice good location and the view."

Outstanding
KKatsiaryna K.The best place I've ever stayed in! Everything was thought out to the smallest detail, comfortable and modern, very clean, cozy, and beautiful! The hostess is amazing, attentive and kind. The room is quite large and spacious, it is not stuffy, but in addition, it is possible to turn on the air conditioner or open the doors to the terrace without fear of mosquitoes flying in, because there are nets installed. Stuffiness in the room is a critical problem for me. And here it is perfectly solved. And the mattress and duvet are absolutely incredible. I don't know what kind of technology it is, but it was perfect: not too soft and not too hard, everything seemed to adapt to you, and in the morning you didn't want to get out of bed. I slept absolutely amazingly here. And what a wonderful bathroom, and the steam closet... I could go on and on listing the advantages of this place. Usually, when you come to another country, you only need to sleep in your room; you don't need much more. But here, we just wanted to be in the room! Because it's so nice and wonderful, because it's calm and peaceful. Unfortunately, our time in the city was limited; there was so much to see and do, but we returned to the hotel every evening with joy. It was an indescribable experience; we are absolutely delighted! I highly recommend it! And I would gladly come back here again. Thank you so much for your hospitality!
GGuest UserI love this hotel so much, for the price I'm getting and location, the amenities oh my I love everything about this hotel, it also has lounge which is accessible day time that gives you free flow bread, kimchi's, drinks and ramen, and gangneung is so good, not touristy yet a very underrated town with seas and beach
GGuest UserWould like to commend front desk staff Jason for personally attending to our check-in. He had painstakingly showed us to our Block B apartment room helping to also push 1 of our bags. As the room did not provide us with a sunrise view, had requested for a room change for the 2nd night and Jason himself again personally came to help us with the room transfer movement. His good english was a also pleasant surprise.as also his charming attitude and smiling look. The resort should cherish such young & kind-hearted staff. Kudos to him! Also, there was a manager (unfortunately could not remember his name who had a christian name to his name tag and slightly burly sized) @ the indoor pool/spa reception who should be praised for also taking the trouble to allow us entry (though we did not book any slot) on our check out day for us to take some photo pics for remembrance. He actually helped us take our couple shot, took the time to showcase us the nice indoor pool and its magnificent balcony view before accompanying us out and showing us the way to the beach. Thank you kind sir! The fantastic service we received from above 2 gentlemen is really testament to Shillamonogram's astute and comprehensive staff training especially with focus on customer satisfaction. Well done Shillamonogram. Will certainly recommend the resort for a wonderful staycation.
GGuest UserIt's a 20-minute bus ride or 10-minute taxi ride from Gangneung Station, and it's cozy. We had a direct view of the sunrise, and our room, room 608, had a side view of the ocean. The TV was about 80 inches. The staff were friendly and the room was spacious. They gave us a gym uniform, so we wore pajamas comfortably. Breakfast was also very good. The only downside was that the bathroom faucet and shower were a bit dated. The rooftop view is highly recommended.
GGuest UserThe hotel was superb, right on the beach and had spectacular views. The rooms were excellent with great facilities. The iPad in the room giving you up to date information was very useful. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were plenty of restaurant choices in the hotel. The evening buffet on the top floor was expensive so we didn’t eat there. 108,000 won per person. There were cheaper alternatives in the lobby. Unfortunately, you had to pay extra to use the infinity pool and gym so we didn’t do this. 35,000 won to use a pool seemed unfair and should be built into the price of the room. I would highly recommend anyone to stay there.
GGuest UserIt was a very nice experience - of course the hotel is more expensive due to its unique ”design”, but for us it was worth it (we only stayed one night). The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms were nice and clean and parking was included. Only thing is, that there is a little walk from the parking lot to the reception, but there are carts that can be borrowed. Also the surrounding area is nice and has some viewing spots worth exploring. We had nothing to complain.
GGuest User- Location: Gyeongpo Beach side is a hotel many 2030 squeaky squeaky squeaky squeaky squeaky squeaky squeaky squeaky squeaky squeaky squeaky squeaky squeaky squeaky squeaky squeaky squeaky s It's really quiet. So I often eaten in Gyeongpo and took a taxi.
- Not bad, but overall a little poor
1. No quilt, just a very thin cloth on the mattress
2. I can't lie down watching TV (only a mat on the double floor TV is below)
3. The terrace is small and the door is not locked
4. Spa bathtub is good. But dust comes out. A little lack of hot water. Spa facilities but no robes. Towels were a bit wet
- Good point.
1. It's quiet and not ocean view, but the sea is very close
2. The rooftop barbecue place was good
3. ok to take pictures
4. It's a good place to take a lot of luggage
I told you what you needed by text with the boss.
