The location is fantastic! It's right on Haeundae Walking Street, making it super easy to find places to eat. You can stroll directly down the walking street to the beach, or even walk to Mipo Station. There's also a direct bus to Cheongpo Station. The beach itself is beautiful and not too crowded. The hotel is located right above Haeundae subway station, which is very convenient, but do note that the hotel rooms are on higher floors, so the elevators can be a bit of a wait. The room facilities are very comprehensive, almost like a serviced apartment, perfect for longer stays.

Stayed for three nights, and it was... fine, I guess. Nothing exceptional, but not bad either. Its 'good location' just means it's right by Haeundae Beach, with plenty of restaurants nearby. However, it's a 10-minute walk to both the subway and Mipo Station. The facilities are pretty standard, but it's relatively new, and the room was a decent size. For the first two nights, we got a free room upgrade. When extending our stay, we were asked to pay an extra 33,000 KRW, either to move to a lower floor or pay the difference. We were too lazy to move, so we just paid to stay in the upgraded room.

Right outside the hotel is a bus stop, which we used frequently, making getting around incredibly convenient. It's also not far from the subway station, and the surrounding area has a wide variety of shops. The hotel itself is very clean, and the staff are friendly. The only thing to note, which is different from China, is that they don't provide toothbrushes and toothpaste. However, there's a vending machine at the hotel where you can buy them, and a convenience store right next door also sells them.

The best thing about this place is its location. It's right by Exit 3 of Haeundae Station on Subway Line 2, literally less than a minute's walk away. The area is surrounded by restaurants and shopping is super convenient. There's even a Miffy pop-up store right outside, and across the street is a delicious fish cake chain restaurant. It's also easy to get to the Mipo Station for the Capsule Train. A great choice for travelers!

I really liked the place! Super clean, has lots of amenities and good location. The area around is close to the beach but not noisy at all. Had a room up high floor with a good view and balcony. The only little problem I had was with a check-in. They send a letter to you before couple of days to be filled and after this registration they send you details on how you can store the luggage before check-in. As I was traveling all the days before and didn’t do it in advance had to figure out how I do it on arrival in the hall which has literally no place to sit. As i felt a bit tired this process seemed sophisticated to me. But i sent a message through the platform and received very quick replies 👍🏼

Reception staff were not friendly and helpful. Room was big and clean, and housekeeping staff were polite. Take note that early Nov in autumn they will disable the aircon and only provide heating so the room remains permanently at 28 degrees - belatedly realised there were other reviewers who warned about this. Staff will advise you to open the window if you feel stuffy and hot. However, this means noise from traffic and the baseball batting cage located next to the hotel. But I guess noise is better than getting a heatstroke. Pretty close walk to haeundae station, and convenient to have a convenience store downstairs and McDonald’s across the road.

The hotel facade is new and clean. The room is very clean with daily change of towels, slippers and bottled water. Location is excellent, on the Main Street with many eateries. It is just opposite the Haeundae traditional market and 5mins walk from the Haeundae beach. But the downside is the slow water flow from the bathtub and no shower curtain . Hotel staff wasn’t able to provide information on traditional market recommendations

Hotel is new and nice and clean. Hotel also provides bathrobe, toothbrushes and basic amenities. Spa in the room definitely a hit for the kids. They also had aroma oil diffuser burnt in the room on check in day which makes the room smell very nice. During check-in, we were also given chocolates. There is a children wonderland at level 3 which the kids love! For adults, there is also unlimited whiskey bar at level 4 at certain timings. They also provide free laundry service and it's very prompt! Superb. I sent the clothes for washing and were returned on the same day night to the room. Free food making and yoga lessons everyday if you make reservations early. My package includes breakfast, and they were flexible that we can claim on a drawdown basis (total 12meals for 3 days) since we had 5pax. Breakfast is Korean food. 3 types to choose from - eel, abalone and beef. A bit overdose after having it for 2 days. We dropped eating there on day 3. Overall, nice stay and would likely stay there again next time. It is also walking distance to the Haeundae beach. Sea aquarium and the traditional market.

Great location, just a short walk from Haeundae Station, making it super convenient to get around. While it's a little further from the beach, the location still offers easy access to everything. The room was comfortable for the stay, though not exceptional. One downside was the lift – it can get crowded and the wait time, especially during busy periods like check-out, was a bit long. Their service was fine, but not particularly warm or engaging. Overall, it’s great value for the price and a solid option for a stay in the area.

GGuest UserA great hotel with spacious and stylishly decorated rooms. Complimentary snacks and instant noodles were provided in the room. Its location is excellent, within walking distance to both metro and bus stations, making it easy to explore various attractions. The front desk staff were very helpful, even assisting with calling a taxi. The only minor drawback was the breakfast. It was delivered to the room door in a basket, which looked elegant, but the variety was quite limited and not as filling as a buffet breakfast. Would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Aagent0Toyoko Inn Busan Station No.1 is conveniently located right across the street from Busan Station, so the location really couldn’t be better. There are also self-service luggage lockers in the lobby on the first floor; guests can ask the front desk for the access code. This time I stayed in a double room with one bed. To be honest, it felt quite small if you're group of two, but considering the price, it was acceptable. Unfortunately, on the morning of checkout, there was an issue where only hot water was available and no cold water, which was a bit disappointing.

GGuest UserThe reception staff were incredibly warm and helpful, even providing a complimentary Chinese map. Our room on the 7th floor was quite spacious. From the balcony, we had lovely views of the inner bay and a large sports/fitness complex, which gave the area a lively, local feel. Downstairs, there's a seafood BBQ; the eel and shellfish were on the pricey side, but they were definitely very fresh.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very close to the beach and has the sea view. These were two important requests for me. The room is big enough. The breakfast is ok but we preferred to eat out. They took out the trash every day and made a bed once, it was all about cleaning. They do not renew shower detergents. The receptionist is welcoming and speaks English well. And again, the area is perfect for tourism and go to the beach. There is a laundry room there in the B2 floor.

GGuest UserI recently had the opportunity to stay at Hotel Elephant in Busan, and overall, it was a memorable experience. Located conveniently within the city, the hotel serves as a great base for travelers looking to explore Busan’s vibrant neighborhoods, beaches, and culinary spots. From check-in to check-out, my stay was smooth, and I found the hotel to be a solid mix of comfort, cleanliness, and character. Check-in & First Impressions: Upon arrival, I was greeted by courteous front desk staff who spoke basic English and were very accommodating. The check-in process was fast and efficient, with minimal hassle. The lobby itself was tastefully decorated—nothing extravagant, but definitely welcoming. It had a quirky charm that felt a bit more boutique than your average budget hotel. Room: I stayed in a standard double room, which was surprisingly spacious. The decor was modern and minimalist, with a few unique touches that gave it personality. The bed was large and comfortable, with clean, crisp linens. I appreciated the small details like a well-lit vanity area, USB charging ports, and a mini-fridge. The room also had good soundproofing, which meant I could rest peacefully even though the hotel is near a busy area. The bathroom was spotless, equipped with a full set of toiletries, and had a surprisingly luxurious rainfall shower. Water pressure was excellent, and hot water was consistent throughout my stay. Some rooms also offer jacuzzis or bathtubs, depending on the tier you book, which I thought was a great value. Amenities & Services: While Hotel Elephant isn’t a full-service luxury property, it offers everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. There’s a vending machine area, complimentary bottled water, and in-room amenities like a kettle, coffee, and tea. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, even during peak hours. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant or gym, but there are plenty of cafes and convenience stores nearby to make up for it. Housekeeping was thorough and respectful. My room was cleaned daily, and towels and toiletries were replenished without needing to request anything. Location: This is arguably one of the hotel’s strongest points. It’s just a short walk from a nearby subway station, which made commuting to places like Haeundae Beach, Jagalchi Market, and Gwangalli very easy. There are also tons of restaurants, bars, and local shops within walking distance. Whether you’re into street food or want to try Busan’s famous seafood, you’ll find great options nearby. If you’re into nightlife, there’s also plenty happening in the area, but thankfully, the hotel itself remains peaceful at night. Staff & Hospitality: Every staff member I interacted with was polite and eager to help. While not everyone was fluent in English, they made an effort to assist with directions, transportation tips, and even helping me book a cab using local apps. Their hospitality made the stay feel much warmer and more personal than I expected. Overall Impression: Hotel Elephant may not be a five-star hotel, but it delivers more than what you’d expect from its price point. It’s clean, cozy, and well-located—perfect for solo travelers, couples, or even friends on a budget-friendly getaway. If you’re visiting Busan and want a reliable place to stay that offers good value without compromising on comfort, this hotel is a solid pick. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Busan.

GGuest UserFantastic location. Hotel is located right behind the main shopping street is a quiet area. Basic amenities like auto refilling drinking water machine and coffee machine. There is also a small 'hole in the wall' shop just outside the hotel selling fabulous French crepes. Only complaint is the lousy attitude shown by the manager. I booked for 3 nights with another extension for 4 nights (7 nights in total). I stated that I use a mobility device because of my disability in the booking. During check in, upon seeing me, he made feel very unwelcome. He told me to find other hotels and asked me to cancel my booking, claiming that my mobility device will spoil the room. Such a ludicrous remark to make. We had a heated argument eventually as I was very upset a him for being discriminatory. i insisted in staying as it was fully paid. It was my first time in Busan, thus I don't wish to spend my holiday looking for hotels. Btw, the room was perfectly fine. Never felt so unwelcome in my life. Location is its only saving grace. However there are numerous hotels around the area after we got to know the place better.
