"We had a very pleasant stay here. The hostel owner was extremely kind and helpful, and he even treated us to pie from a famous bakery for breakfast. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the Hanok Village—while still offering a quiet and peaceful environment. The room is quite small but sufficient for two people. Overall, it was a great Hanok experience at a very reasonable price."

"I had an amazing stay at Myeongga Hanok! It’s a perfect 10/10: the place is very clean and feels like home as soon as you arrive, the host is very kind and helpful and the location is just perfect: next to the main street of Hanok Village but still very calm. I would highly recommend."

"This hotel is not far from Jeonju Hanok Village and also close to the famous Jeonju Bibimbap restaurant. Then the receptionist is a handsome and gentle guy, which is rare. Most hotel receptionists are beautiful women, which may be a plus for female travelers. Then the room is a Hanok-style floor. Although the decoration is not particularly Hanok, it is a bit like a modern hotel, but the sleeping board and bed set are matched and it does not make people feel hard when sleeping. In addition, for family guests, as long as they can sleep in, he does not charge extra, and in fact, the bed set he gives is also quite large, so this is quite friendly."

"Easy check in as owner is next door operating hanbok rental. Room is comfortable though got some spider web on the ceiling. Breakfast is toast bread, banana and persimmon. Washing machine is broken so unable to wash cloth."

"Since I was traveling with my grandmother, choosing a place to stay was my biggest concern, but it exceeded my expectations and was incredibly comfortable! The location is right in the heart of the Hanok Village, so the commute wasn't too long! The bedding was especially comfortable and clean. My grandmother even asked about the mattress. She was so comfortable that she slept comfortably. ☺️ Oh! There were also many places offering discounts through affiliate programs, which was great. 👍🏻Thanks to this, I thoroughly enjoyed the school uniform experience, bean sprout soup, and black-and-white photos. I want to come here again on my next trip to Jeonju. 🤎"

MMinStaying at this traditional Korean thatched-roof house (chogajip) in Jeonju was such a special and unforgettable experience! I booked this place for my friend visiting from the U.S. to give her a unique taste of Korean culture—and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The location was great, the room was clean and cozy, and the host was incredibly kind and helpful :) After booking, I recommend contacting the host in advance to let them know your estimated arrival time—it really helps with check-in. For international guests, it may be a bit difficult to communicate, so having someone help with the message is a good idea! If you’re visiting Korea, don’t miss the chance to stay in a beautiful chogajip and experience a piece of traditional life. Highly recommended! ❤️

GGuest UserAs soon as I entered the hotel, I was amazed that the room was exactly as pictured! The tea set was ready for me, along with other small items and even a hair dryer. It seemed like a lot of thought had gone into the room. I couldn't help but think I chose the right room!!! I'll definitely be back here next time I'm in Jeonju!

GGuest UserDana Haru Guesthouse is a very cheap and convenient guesthouse located at the doors of the Hanok village close to the river. It is an accommodation for those who want to spend little but be at the heart of the Hanok village. The check in was smooth and fast, they also allowed us to check-in earlier. The room was exactly what we expected, small room with a bed and AC. The toilets and showers are shared with other guests. Overall they were always free and clean. The negative side was that the hot water takes a while before starting to run properly. The building is quite old, so while we were there, the kitchen had some leaking going on. I suggest this accommodation for tight budget travellers who make the most of their day outside.

GGuest UserThe place had a cozy, homey vibe that made me feel right at ease. From the moment we walked in, the owner greeted us warmly with his charming eye smile and was always eager to help. The room was great, featuring a TV, a mini fridge and a spacious bathroom stocked with essentials like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste and toothbrushes. We visited during winter and the room was wonderfully warm, creating the perfect retreat from the cold. We even had the opportunity to prepare our own breakfast - eggs, bread, butter, jam, coffee and milk. To top it off, I did my laundry there, which was incredibly convenient. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He’s genuinely one of the kindest Koreans I’ve met during my trip. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I absolutely fell in love with this place. I would definitely return! Sir, this is me, your guest from the Philippines. SHOES OFF signs- but not in listed Trip.com policies. 1 toilet, 1 urinal for potentially several dudes. Great kitchen, potable water dispenser, brand new mattresses, privacy blind eaxh bunk, bunk light and socket, small towel provided, A/C works great, very close to the Hanok Village, very close to bus back to train station. Place is brand new.

GGuest UserA convenient enough location - at rhe extreme eastern edge of the Hanok village area - still within walking distance of everything you'd want to see and experience in Jeonju.
Although refurbished plainly, the ”pension” room served its purpose - Hanok accomodation by the site.
In my opinion, I think that the room was still undersized ((no room for even a chair or small table) while the washroom was bigger than needed. Small towels, and a finicky door lock could also be addressed.
That said, a very comfortable bed 😀, as opposed to a futon.
Access to the city bus and train station best done by arranging for a taxi as the bus routes on the highway just above the place, are neither reliably scheduled nor matched transit app (at least the one I had.)
