Staying at this traditional Korean thatched-roof house (chogajip) in Jeonju was such a special and unforgettable experience! I booked this place for my friend visiting from the U.S. to give her a unique taste of Korean culture—and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The location was great, the room was clean and cozy, and the host was incredibly kind and helpful :) After booking, I recommend contacting the host in advance to let them know your estimated arrival time—it really helps with check-in. For international guests, it may be a bit difficult to communicate, so having someone help with the message is a good idea! If you’re visiting Korea, don’t miss the chance to stay in a beautiful chogajip and experience a piece of traditional life. Highly recommended! ❤️

It was a comfortable sleep. The morning sunlight shining on the floor was warm. The warm garaetteok was impressive. The energy of the Hanok made for a pleasant trip.

As soon as I entered the hotel, I was amazed that the room was exactly as pictured! The tea set was ready for me, along with other small items and even a hair dryer. It seemed like a lot of thought had gone into the room. I couldn't help but think I chose the right room!!! I'll definitely be back here next time I'm in Jeonju!

We like best is the in house washing machine and dryer. Location is very near to lotte car rental and train station.

This hotel is not far from Jeonju Hanok Village and also close to the famous Jeonju Bibimbap restaurant. Then the receptionist is a handsome and gentle guy, which is rare. Most hotel receptionists are beautiful women, which may be a plus for female travelers. Then the room is a Hanok-style floor. Although the decoration is not particularly Hanok, it is a bit like a modern hotel, but the sleeping board and bed set are matched and it does not make people feel hard when sleeping. In addition, for family guests, as long as they can sleep in, he does not charge extra, and in fact, the bed set he gives is also quite large, so this is quite friendly.

The place had a cozy, homey vibe that made me feel right at ease. From the moment we walked in, the owner greeted us warmly with his charming eye smile and was always eager to help. The room was great, featuring a TV, a mini fridge and a spacious bathroom stocked with essentials like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste and toothbrushes. We visited during winter and the room was wonderfully warm, creating the perfect retreat from the cold. We even had the opportunity to prepare our own breakfast - eggs, bread, butter, jam, coffee and milk. To top it off, I did my laundry there, which was incredibly convenient. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He’s genuinely one of the kindest Koreans I’ve met during my trip. Nice hotel close to the station in a funny neighborhood. Loved the sauna in room.

Brand new hostel. SELF CHECK-IN - be sure to get a message from the owner for security code to open door-- he may text it- does your ESim get texts? SHOES OFF signs- but not in listed Trip.com policies. 1 toilet, 1 urinal for potentially several dudes. Great kitchen, potable water dispenser, brand new mattresses, privacy blind eaxh bunk, bunk light and socket, small towel provided, A/C works great, very close to the Hanok Village, very close to bus back to train station. Place is brand new.

It's great value for money. There's a modern house right in front, and the area around the property is quiet. It's not too far to walk to the Hanok Village.
