Our stay at this hotel was truly unforgettable, and it all begins with the amazing service from Teaw. From the moment we arrived until well after we left, Teaw went above and beyond in every possible way. After returning to Chiang Mai, I realized I had accidentally left behind my camera and hairdryer at the hotel. Teaw not only contacted me immediately after discovering the items (even though I missed the call), but he also personally arranged for them to be delivered to me via a local driver—at his own expense. He clearly explained how I could collect them, and when I finally received my belongings, they were perfectly packed and undamaged. Teaw is truly a trustworthy and outstanding staff member, and I’m so grateful for his help.
As for the hotel itself—it’s a peaceful retreat deeply connected to nature. The lush gardens, blooming flowers, and bamboo-built rooms offer a unique and calming atmosphere. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and there was always plenty of hot water. Breakfast was another highlight: generous, delicious, and full of variety. I especially loved the rich white Tom Yum soup, high-quality yogurt, creamy butter, and the wide selection of breads, including both multigrain and white options.
The dining area was warm and inviting, and the swimming pool and relaxation zones were absolutely beautiful—perfect spots to unwind and enjoy the serenity around.
But what truly sets this hotel apart is the genuine care and kindness shown by the staff. You can feel it while you’re there, and you continue to feel it even after you’ve left. I can’t recommend this place highly enough, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you again, especially to Teaw—you made all the difference.

Very friendly and helpful staffs, short walk or if u cycle to the city walking street.
Only little feedback, the shower tube was damaged, if they can perform regular maintenance, I give them full 5 Stars. Overall, I will stay at Yoma again in future if I am in Pai

The male staff member, or perhaps the owner, who wears glasses, provided excellent service. From helping with parking to welcoming us, everything was top-notch. I was very impressed! If I ever go back, I'll definitely stay here again.

I booked a Double River View, and we have got the nice view of river. We enjoyed sitting at the balcony seeing the river. And the hotel is quiet as it locates on another side of Pai walking street. The walking street is not far from the hotel at all.

I had such wonderful time here, that I extended my stay twice. The atmosphere here is calm and everyone is so nice and helpful. The stuff always did their best to help with any sort of question, big or small.
The room was nice and cozy even during some rainy days. You can rent a bike at the reception, all of Pai's key attractions are only 10-15 minutes ride away.
It was a truly amazing stay, I am sad to leave.

Budget-Friendly Stay in the Heart of Pai (Walkable to Everything!)
Happy in Pai Hotel is a fantastic choice if you're looking for an extremely budget-friendly base right in the center of town. The location is the hotel's biggest asset, making it incredibly convenient for tourists.
Location: 5/5
You cannot beat this spot! It's perfectly situated in the city center, making it an easy and pleasant walk to the main Walking Street for evening markets and shopping. There are many popular cafes and excellent restaurants right outside the door, so you'll never be stuck for a meal or coffee.
Value: 5/5
The price is very cheap, offering excellent value for money, especially considering the prime location.
Rooms & Comfort: 3/5
The rooms are clean and well-maintained. However, I have to be honest—the decor and furnishings make the room look not very comfortable or inviting. It’s functional and clean, but definitely basic.
Noise Level: 2/5
A major downside is the poor sound isolation. You can clearly hear noise from the hallway, outside, and sometimes from neighboring rooms. If you are a light sleeper, be prepared for potential disturbances, especially on busy nights or weekends.
Overall Impression:
If your priority is a cheap, clean, and centrally located place to sleep while you spend most of your time exploring Pai, this hotel is a perfect match.
If you are looking for a cozy, quiet, or luxurious room experience, you might want to consider other options.
Recommended for: Solo travelers, backpackers, and budget-conscious couples.

This was a lovely hotel, the bed was large and comfy the room was very spacious and we had a pool right outside. We did was that the bathroom door didn't fully close and there were quite a few mosquitoes. Other than this we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend!

A relatively cozy place, on the territory of a pond with fish and frogs, right next to the territory of a rice field. In the refrigerator on the receptacle there was always a cold beer for moderate price, gasification and water, super cute hosts. The location of such that it would be good to have a bike, but also on foot you can get to the city, near the bars from where the sun is watching. Take the bungalo without convenience, on the floor of the tile, at night wildly cold and the tile is not super comfortable: In the toilet you get up bosik, go down, go on the territory and back, so experience.

Amazing
GGuest UserThis resort is perfectly located a few short miles from the busy activity of Pai town and major tourist attractions. The bungalows are spread across the landscaped terraces, separated by flowering trees and fish ponds. The resort sits among the rice fields of the Pai River valley, with views of mountain ranges on two sides. The setting is peaceful -- with the sounds of tree frogs, wild birds, geckos and the occasional farm animal providing a natural orchestra. The new owner, Vanda, is a fantastic hostess and goes out of her way to make sure your stay is comfortable and you have the information you need to make the most out of Pai's many attractions. In Jan 2023 the resort installed new, spring mattresses and upgraded internet service and wifi technology to the best available in Thailand. The free, high-speed wifi service is available resort-wide, making the Pond Terrace a perfect shared workspace for digital nomads and those traveling for work. The breakfast options (included in the price) included Muesli with yogurt or honey, French Toast, or full American Breakfast. Fresh tropical fruit from local farms is included with each. Finally, the coffee options included American coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte made from freshly ground coffee beans from northern Thailand. We have lived and travelled in Thailand for 8 years. This resort ticks all the boxes! We will return--often!
SSilverfootI stayed here for a few nights in November 2025. It is a family run business and the mother of the owner is normally the one that takes care of the place. It is located in the countryside and you can expect to see and hear chickens and other animals. While the cottages are a walkable distance (2km) from the town, you are much better off renting a scooter if staying here. The cottages are quaint, but not the best construction. You can see many places where the concrete walls are cracking. Also, sometimes the doors don't closes correctly, but overall, I found the place to be comfortable. The TV in the rooms is quite small and old, but they do have an HDMI port to use a fire stick with. The water pressure is good and the hot water heater works. The bathroom is small and everything is contained in one area so you will get the toilet and everything wet when showering. You can see a walk through review I did on youtube.
GGuest UserI absolutely loved this place! Beautiful, quiet, very clean and and the family who manages it is delightful very kind and helpful always with a smile.
I extended my stay twice and that in itself says all. I will come back for sure!
GGuest UserNice hotel with a great view and good location. A bit far from town but ok with your own transport. Hotel has no lift and many stairs which made it difficult for us with a baby. Also, as foreign family I’m really surprised the lack of cribs in hotels. Overall a decent stay.
RRose heeThe location is good, the breakfast is provided, and the accommodation itself is old and worn, but the overall atmosphere is pretty! It was nice to be able to feel the sensibility of Paimanㅎㅎ There were ants in the bathroom and window frame, but they didn't come up to the bed!!😁 The owner? was also kind, and I was going to go on a sunrise tour alone at dawn, but there was a staff member guarding the lobby, so I felt reassured👍🏻
GGuest UserLovely staff in a superb location. Falling asleep to the sounds of nature in my cabin was perfect. Two hot springs (one boiling, one warm) and a swimming pool. Lovely breakfast with hot made to order food and buffet style with fruits, bread, cereal and snacks. Ended up extending our stay here as there were so many cute spots
GGuest UserSpacious and comfortable beds. Garden is big and catches the sun nicely. Very chilled hostel and not a party hostel at all. But still good to socialize on the balcony and garden.
GGuest UserThe hotel lays quiet in a big green area but if there is a neighbor in the attached bungalow one can hear every word. Room and bathroom are big. The door should be from wood and not special glass. The breakfast is good, but when there is a buffet, very minimum choise, only good for Thais (no milk, no fruits, no meat), coffee in paperbox.
ЛЛеснаяIt is a nice place in General. But the staff do not speak English and at any case they call the owner and give you the Phone to talk. There is nobody at reception from the evening. At our Room on the second Floor there was an electrycity problem at night, the light was always bliking with the sound. So we could not use aircon, fen, fridge etc. It felt dangerous. It was on the whole Floor. We said it to the owner. But we were not sure that they would fix it, so next day we mooved to the 1st floor, where there was not such a problem. Byt the 1st Floor does not have such a beautiful View and aircon unfortunatly.
GGuest UserExcellent place for the price. It isn’t like some of the other places that are directly in town, but it’s like a 10 minute walk to get to the center of Pai. Kind staff and great amenities.
