This is my second consecutive year staying at this hotel. Booking a sea view room this time made the experience even better. Our room was conveniently located to the right of the lawn, just a 30-meter walk from the restaurant, which offered direct sea views. The rooms here are incredibly spacious and comfortable; I'll definitely book a full week on my next visit! Breakfast was pretty good, with freshly made noodle soup that was very satisfying. During the off-season, they even offer a 10% dining discount voucher. We could bring our fresh catch back from fishing directly to the restaurant to be cooked for 300 Baht per kilogram. It's a decent price; even though it's 50 Baht more expensive than the walking street, I personally feel Benhard Restaurant offers a much better and cleaner environment.

A very pleasant and cozy hotel. We were checked in early, around 11 a.m., which was very nice, and they offered us a nice refreshing drink.
The grounds are beautiful, from the garden to the beach, and everything is clean. The only thing would be nice if they updated the sun loungers or offered a soft mattress for their guests.
We booked a bungalow without air conditioning. The fan blew like a hurricane. It was livable, but we only stayed for a day. I wouldn't recommend it for even two nights. Our room smelled strongly of cats, as if they were using the bungalow as a toilet. Our friends in the neighboring bungalow had the same problem. Breakfast was standard: eggs, sandwiches, pancakes, nothing special, but everything was delicious and edible. We really enjoyed the massage; it was simply wonderful.

Loved it! 🥰🥰🥰 This stay completely exceeded my expectations. Each room is a small, standalone bungalow, and the hotel's beach is absolutely beautiful. The staff provides shuttle service to and from the pier. 🥰🥰 The rooms are very clean, and it's a short walk along the beach to both the pier and the walking street. For places further out, the staff will help you call a tuk-tuk. There are almost no downsides. I honestly didn't have high hopes before arriving, so I was completely surprised that a 500-yuan hotel could be this good! The only issue is that the service attitude isn't great, and the front desk staff seemed to judge people.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pleasant Stay with Minor Flaws
Chareena Beachside's main draw is its excellent beachfront location. The sea view and relaxed atmosphere made the stay overall very enjoyable.
The rooms were clean and functional, though they could use some modernization in a few areas. The amenities were solid, but not exceptional.
The staff was friendly.
The breakfast and food were good.
Overall, Chareena Beachside is a good accommodation for a relaxing beach holiday. With minor improvements in service, cleanliness, and amenities, it could easily earn a 5-star rating.

The fan room was a bit old and could use a renovation. It took some getting used to at first, but after a few days, it was fine. Sitting on the balcony chair, enjoying the sea breeze, and taking in the scenery was lovely, though there were a lot of mosquitoes at night, so mosquito coils were a must. The two young men who helped us were amazing; they were so proactive in carrying our luggage and always smiling. Highly recommend!

I was given room 888, which has direct sea views – an absolutely fantastic location! However, it's quite close to the hotel restaurant, and some people would chat loudly late into the night. There was no staff to stop them, even at a very late hour. At high tide, the sound of the waves was quite loud at night. At low tide, you can go beachcombing right away. Honestly, it's pretty good overall. The beachfront cabins lack a bit of privacy, but it's convenient for getting things back and forth. There were mosquitos by the sea.

Pure paradise!! We initially planned for a 2-day stay but ended up extending to 8 days because we loved it so much. The bungalows are incredibly charming, and the location is perfect – right on the beach and just a 2-minute walk from the town center. The rooms were cleaned daily, and the staff are wonderfully kind, friendly, and attentive to your every need. Plus, the restaurant food is excellent! The only minor drawback was some construction noise quite early in the morning. Thank you for everything! 🙏🏼

GGuest UserFrom the moment we arrived via boat to the most beautiful setting, we were breath taken! The private beach is great for snorkeling and safe for kids. Our room (no. 6) was a good size, nice balcony, some sea views and comfortable. Staff were warm, welcoming and helpful, especially the receptionist who was always smiling and super friendly. Of our 8-day stay in Koh Lipe, we spent 3 nights here. By comparison, the hotel we moved to next was marginally cheaper, also with a high (but not as high) rating. Ten Moons was the better deal!!!
Pros:
- Stunning location
- Large glass water jug in the room (which was refilled daily using a 5 gallon water bottle rather than multiple small plastic bottles). Great to see the hotel reducing the use of plastic!
- Great breakfast selection
- Food available all day
- Clean
- Staff helpful and friendly
- Life jackets, beach toys, snorkels, etc available for use for free
- Quiet location/very peaceful and relaxing
- Lovely sand (sand texture tends to vary in Koh Lipe however it was great here!)
- Walking distance or ferry ride to walking street and more livelier areas
Cons:
- One of the few hotels not showing a sign or communicating/educating tourists NOT to step on coral. The by-product is that there isn’t a lot of live coral to see although there is still a lot of fish life. By comparison, we saw a hotel further down actively promoting not to stand on coral with staff educating tourists
- No pool (although not needed as the sea area is more than ample to swim in)
- No kayaks (available for hire at THB200 per hour nearby, less than a minute walk away)
- Not for people who struggle with stairs (although there are a couple of villas on the beach without the use of stairs)
We would most certainly stay here again!

TTotsy.daisyWe absolutely loved our stay at Serendipity! Our room, located right at the very top, came with a private pool and offered ultimate privacy — truly a peaceful escape. The beach is tucked away at the far end of Sunrise Beach, making it wonderfully secluded from the crowds and the long-tail boats.
The food was amazing — everything we tried was delicious! We especially loved that breakfast could either be enjoyed at the restaurant or served right to our room for a more relaxing morning.
The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Plus, the resort provides free snorkel gear and kayaks for guests who want to explore the beautiful waters nearby.
All in all, it was a superb stay — excellent service, top-notch views, and pure serenity. We loved it to bits and would come back in a heartbeat! 🌴✨

The food is a *tad* pricier compared to other places on the island, but the taste is decent, so overall, it's not exceptionally expensive. The room itself is a bit dated, and there's room for improvement in the details, but overall, it's a good stay.

The room was spacious enough, with a good bed, TV, toilet, shower.
The Hotel is right in the heart of Koh Lipe. On Walking Street. Within easy walking distance to Pattaya Beach and Sunrise Beach in a matter of minutes. Full of shops, restaurants, supermarkets and excursion providers.
The breakfast has a fairly basic selection compared with the UK. Though enough to sustain us through until Dinner time. We did enjoy a variety of the Fruit Smoothies in particular.
Check out was easy and the Hotel arranged a Taxi for our suitcases.

Although do think they should make it adult only hotel as kids in the other villas during the day can be noisy which can’t be avoided. Otherwise Great for couples for special occasion or a romantic getaway 👍🏼

GGuest UserThe hostel is in a convenient position, right in the walking street. The ground floor is sort of a post office, which makes it kind of chaotic and crowded and sometimes the shoes (that you need to leave outside of the building) are covered by the amount of packages being delivered. One pair of my shoes got taken by someone else (stolen?).
I felt there is really no control of whoever comes up, as the post office is so chaotic that no one checks who comes and goes to the hostel on the upper floors.
The common area is not that big and the WiFi is not stable at all. Nevertheless these are things
The showers need some maintainance, some have hangers for clothes, some don’t, some have broken ones. Same for the toilets. The cleaning of the showers and toilet areas was quite under control. I just wish that people with long hair would clean after themselves, because patches of bestie ere to be found on the sink and the showers all the time.
The room was relatively small, with 3 bunk beds and 6 small lockers. I recommend earplugs because you never know if the people in your room will snore, and also because the people in the hallway and common area are loud and no one respects the 10pm silence hours.
Good deal for money if you want to explore Ko Lipe on a budget.

GGuest UserA staff member met us at the pier for a pickup, which was very convenient. I chose a second-floor room, mainly because I'm a little concerned about bugs on the ground floor. Breakfast was à la carte and Western-style (haha), I'm personally not quite used to it, but it was perfectly edible. You can borrow kayaks and snorkeling gear right from the restaurant, which is incredibly convenient. Highly recommended! I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

TTravelwithgeidWe spent one week in a double bungalow with a fan and honestly couldn’t have asked for more. The bungalow was cosy and charming, with a lovely terrace and a hammock that was perfect for relaxing. Of course, there are some mosquitoes, but with repellent, it wasn’t an issue at all.
The location is amazing, just steps away from Pattaya Beach, where you can enjoy truly beautiful sunsets. They also offer massages right on site near the beach, and they are absolutely fantastic with professional staff and excellent value for money.
All the staff were incredibly friendly and always smiling, which really made our stay special. Guests can enjoy a private deck and bar as well, which is a great extra touch.
Highly recommended, especially the massages. After a one hour session, they even treat you to free coconut water. It was a wonderful experience all around.
