"Stayed for 3 nights in early September 2025. The hotel is located near the old town which is very convenient for sightseeing, as most of the places are within walking distance. It is refurbished from an old bank and retains the charm of the former building including a nice lobby which was previously the banking hall. They also have a vault with a bar within. The room was comfortable and had all the basic amenities including a safebox. They have USB charger built in as well. Wifi was fast. The hotel also does have a swimming pool in the basement with wet and dry sauna facilities. The old town is right behind the hotel. Staff were professional and I managed to have slightly early check in thanks to a trainee lady (I did not catch the name) who took time to helped look for available room."

"First of all, I'd like to thank the staff, who were always very friendly and helpful (there's even a WhatsApp messaging service for requesting information or services). The hotel is in a great location and is a new property, with modernly designed rooms that are spacious and equipped with multiple electrical outlets, perfect for charging your devices. The beds are really comfortable and the bathroom is a great size; I loved the kettle and the coffee machine with its various options, and I found a fresh bottle of water every day. Honestly, I would have liked to try breakfast at least one morning, but paying 150 euros for the room, spending 60 euros for two seemed a bit excessive. However, I understand that these are market dynamics and the price is probably fair. To be honest, I was kindly suggested to check the app to book it at a lower price (here on Trip, if I remember correctly, it was 23 euros), but after a few attempts, I couldn't find it and gave up, lol. Obviously 10/10. That being said, I thank and greet the staff once again for their helpfulness and kindness."

"Had a wonderful one night stay for my birthday. Was kindly upgraded to a high floor with stunning balcony views, and left a cake and bottle of fizzy. Room was large, comfortable bed and extremely quiet. Bathroom was large with powerful shower. Hotel staff were polite and efficient. Recommend to all, hope to return ."

Whilst the breakfast was available, we found it rather expensive for what was offered. However, this was not an issue as we discovered a charming café directly across from the hotel that provided excellent morning fare at more reasonable prices. The rooms maintain the classical elegance found throughout the property, with comfortable furnishings and all modern amenities one would expect from a hotel of this calibre. The attention to detail in both the public spaces and private rooms reflects the hotel's commitment to maintaining its historic charm whilst providing contemporary comfort. In conclusion, the Grand Hotel Continental Bucuresti offers a superb hotel experience in the heart of Romania's capital. Despite the breakfast pricing, which is easily remedied by numerous nearby alternatives, the hotel's outstanding service, perfect location and classical charm make it a splendid choice for anyone visiting Bucharest. "This hotel is super nice and a very chic place to stay. Fun to have a drink in the lobby and to have breakfast inside the restaurant. The rooms are very spacious they have like three separate rooms and they have a beautiful balcony overlooking the property. Staff was flawless hotel was very upscale. The only problem I have with this hotel is that the pool is very very small and I like to luxury ate and of huge swimming pool when I am on vacation and the pool here very small maybe only suitable for children or for someone who doesn't like to swim laps. I never took a dip in the pool and I changed hotels because I wanted a spa / swimming pool hot tub amenity for my vacation. If you were not into pools then this is the perfect place to stay. I got this room for $100 a night and that is truly a steal."
