The facilities and services offered by the hotel are excellent, especially the spa, which provides a relaxing and enjoyable experience and adds a lot to the overall stay. Above all, I would like to highlight the outstanding service provided by the hotel team. The staff are professional, attentive, caring, and genuinely committed to making guests feel welcome and valued. I would especially like to mention Anna from the Concierge Department, who was exceptional. She was extremely professional, kind, attentive, and always willing to assist with any request. Her personal attention made our stay even more special. JW Marriott Bucharest offers a wonderful combination of luxury, comfort, and outstanding hospitality. Grand Hotel Continental Bucuresti Review Having recently stayed at the Grand Hotel Continental in Bucharest, I can confidently say this establishment lives up to its grand name. The hotel exudes classic elegance, and the service was nothing short of exceptional. Special mention must go to Daniel, the bell boy, whose dedication to guest satisfaction went well beyond his duties, setting a remarkable standard for hospitality. The hotel's layout is thoughtfully designed, making navigation effortless for guests coming and going throughout their stay. Its pristine cleanliness and classical architecture create an atmosphere of refined luxury that perfectly complements its historical surroundings. Location-wise, the Grand Hotel Continental could not be better positioned. Stepping out of the main entrance, guests find themselves directly on Bucharest's main thoroughfare, with an abundance of restaurants, shops and cultural attractions within easy walking distance. The city's finest museums are mere minutes away, making it an ideal base for both leisure and business travellers. Whilst the breakfast was available, we found it rather expensive for what was offered. However, this was not an issue as we discovered a charming café directly across from the hotel that provided excellent morning fare at more reasonable prices. The rooms maintain the classical elegance found throughout the property, with comfortable furnishings and all modern amenities one would expect from a hotel of this calibre. The attention to detail in both the public spaces and private rooms reflects the hotel's commitment to maintaining its historic charm whilst providing contemporary comfort. In conclusion, the Grand Hotel Continental Bucuresti offers a superb hotel experience in the heart of Romania's capital. Despite the breakfast pricing, which is easily remedied by numerous nearby alternatives, the hotel's outstanding service, perfect location and classical charm make it a splendid choice for anyone visiting Bucharest. Good central location, large hotel with restaurant and good facilities, warm comfortable rooms that were quiet at night, good levels of space and comfort, breakfast was also good, though based around a narrow corridor design so no wider than 2 people. Food was tasty and staffing levels and attentiveness of waitress and catering staff was very good. Also good quality WiFi, and plenty of seats and tables in reception in people wanted to work on their laptop. Plenty of towels and showers were hot, did not experience any issues and would use again.

Our stay at the Mercure Bucharest was truly memorable, thanks to the exceptional service and warm hospitality. The rooms were spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the city. The attention to detail in the room's amenities made our stay even more enjoyable. A special mention goes to the receptionist, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. She provided us with amazing suggestions for places to visit in Romania, turning our holiday into an incredible experience. Her local knowledge and enthusiasm made all the difference, guiding us to hidden gems we might have otherwise missed. The breakfast at the hotel was fantastic, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that catered to all tastes. It was the perfect way to start our days of sightseeing. The hotel's location is very convenient, with easy access to Bucharest's main attractions and public transport. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, Mercure Bucharest offers a welcoming and comfortable stay. We left with wonderful memories and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Perfect base for a city trip to Bucharest! I stayed in a small single room. The room is indeed compact, but incredibly clean! It's thoroughly cleaned every day, and the tea bags and toiletries are also neatly refilled daily. The location is absolutely top-notch: the hotel is on a wonderfully quiet street, yet just a stone's throw away from the vibrant Old Town. This allows you to perfectly enjoy a night out and still get a good, peaceful night's sleep. The mattress is of very good quality; I slept wonderfully. A real recommendation for solo travelers!

Stayed one night at this hotel as I was in transit to Zurich and then Toronto. Checked in about noon I disagreed I was given a Superior Deluxe Room with Double Bed. My room is single room is on the third floor; with a single bed, fridge, TV... What almost kills me is there is no lift nor elevator in this hotel. I had to dragged my bag to my room. Luckily the reception lady was nice to take the small bag for me, No overnight staff is there. I checked out at 3.30am to take my early fight. dropped my key at the reception.

This is the second time I stayed here so I like the place. The owner/manager guy is great and the location is just about perfect. Close to the old town, a 24/7 Carrefour, and lots of good restaurants. But three things were less than good. The bed is very very very squeaky. The room often smells of sewage. You can open the little window and it helps a bit but it didn't really go away If you eat anything, look out for ants! I woke up to an intense ant party my second morning. I would still probably stay here next time I visit but for some people those things might be dealbreakers.

Place was clean and tidy. The staff were polite and happy to help with any concerns. The location is very good, not far from public transport, old town or shopping centres. The kitchen area always smelt funny but was always clean and tidy. Couple of things broken (soap pump broken, bottom water strip on shower missing so the bathroom floor gets saturated). I can’t comment on the breakfast as i never had it. No bodywash or shampoo/conditioner provided (not essential just have stayed at similar priced places with these amenities). I stayed in the female only dorm.

The stay didn't start well, as my flight was delayed and I had to check in in the early morning. It took two hours until I was finally attended to. However, the rest of my days, with the great atmosphere, good vibes, and available services, left me more satisfied. The shared dorms were spacious, the air conditioning wasn't excessive, and you could either cook your own meals or enjoy a delicious and varied breakfast that was really worth it. I'd definitely come back despite the initial inconvenience. The photo is my best memory, as it's the first thing I saw when I left my room.

The location of this hostel is great, very close to the center of Bucharest, and it is very convenient to walk to nearby attractions or libraries. Wi-Fi is available in the public areas and the speed is very stable. The best thing is that they have self-propelled facilities and dryers, which is a savior for long-term travelers! The atmosphere in the public garden is also very relaxing, and the overall stay is very satisfactory, recommended to all backpackers.
