I had a very pleasant stay at Dingnan Grand Skylight Hotel. Everything was very good from check-in to check-out. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help, especially Tina. The hotel facilities were excellent, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. The breakfast offered a good variety of choices, and the location was convenient for my visit. Wow - wonderful. This is actually a Movenpick hotel which I wasn’t aware of when I booked it. When my didi took me here I wasn’t sure if it was the right place as it seemed such an expensive looking hotel for what I paid. Everything about the hotel is luxurious down to the pillows and towels. Location is near the centre of town with a nearby BBQ outdoor place and KFC if that’s your thing. Breakfast has a good choice of mainly Chinese offerings with cereal and toast but not butter on offer too. Staff had limited English but were friendly and helpful even adding my WeChat and offering to assist if needed.

I didn't expect that such a county town would have such a good hotel. It's clean and hygienic, and the service staff are very enthusiastic. It's about a half-hour drive from the scenic spots. You can go shopping and eat snacks around. The county town has few cars and people, which is very comfortable. The hotel is very quiet, the pillows are good, and the buffet breakfast is rich. I will stay here again next time I come.

The waiters should be mostly local villagers. You can't ask for a five-star hotel like a big city. I booked a special room in Building 6. Maybe Building 6 was full, so I was upgraded to Building 2. Building 2 is between Building 6 and Building 1, and both have the same corridor. Navigation to the hotel is in front of Building 1. Check-in is in the lobby of Building 6. Driving to Building 6 also requires a very steep bend. Once there is a car, it is very challenging to drive. If you live in Building 2 and your driving skills are average, it is recommended to park the car directly at the door of Building 1. Breakfast is in Building 1, with a rich variety. It is recommended to go early. Some varieties will not be supplemented later. The two scenic spot tickets sent are sent directly to the mobile phone, and the QR code is opened to verify the ticket. The guide from the hotel to the scenic spot is not perfect. When I asked the waiter, there were all kinds of answers. Some said that it was very close to walk to the glass plank road, but I didn't find the direction, so it was probably not close; some said that there was a shuttle bus station at the hotel gate, but it was not easy to find; others suggested that I drive directly up the mountain, but I thought it was too dangerous to drive on the steep slopes. In the end, I simply checked out of the room, drove the car to the visitor center at the foot of the mountain, and then took the shuttle bus to the highest station. After playing the Sky Mirror and then walking down from Wolong Canyon, it won't be too tiring to go down the mountain. Walk to the halfway point of the mountain through the Senqu Corridor to the glass plank road to have a look, and then wait for the shuttle bus to go down the mountain. In this way, you can walk through the essence of the scenic spot in half a day. There are some children's amusement facilities in the Aduo Village next to the visitor center. I hurried around and left. In general, there are not many people during the Chinese New Year, and it will not be crowded. It is a unique niche attraction.
