Staying with my family at Helanshan Homestay Collection was an absolutely fantastic experience! 👍 The environment is peaceful, the views are expansive, directly facing Helan Mountain, and the property is very photogenic. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the private courtyard allows adults to relax and enjoy the mountain views while kids can play freely. You get to experience the Northwestern wilderness and learn about wine culture – it's a hidden gem for a vacation in Yinchuan. I truly recommend it to anyone visiting Ningxia.

Extremely satisfied with this trip! The hostess contacted us in advance, and her attitude was thoughtful and lovely. She informed us that the room might not be big enough and upgraded us, also asking if we'd like to order meals. Since our itinerary was quite tight, we didn't order food this time, but we should definitely try it next time. The B&B's environment was a wonderful surprise, located amidst a large vineyard. A short bike ride away, the entire Helan Mountain range appears before your eyes. The restaurant also offers an unbeatable view. The tour of the winery was a nice addition too. Overall, there's so much waiting for everyone to discover. I regret only booking for one day; a more leisurely stay would have been even better.

This is a wonderful Suzhou-style garden hotel. The landscaping was truly amazing, even for a designer like me. The rooms are also wonderful, and the private courtyard is exquisite. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, and I rarely sleep so soundly!

The outdoor sessions cover constellations, the Milky Way, and the Perseid meteor shower. You absolutely *must* try the observatory stargazing program! With the hotel's professional telescopes and under the expert guidance of teachers Wan and Ge, you can observe the distinct colors of stars, differentiate binary star systems, and witness views far more stunning than any online picture. The teachers are engaging and patient, simplifying complex astronomical knowledge into easy-to-understand concepts, and even provide hands-on instruction for operating the equipment – I was completely captivated throughout. The silhouette of Helan Mountain was tranquil against the night sky, which was blanketed in stars, truly curing the fatigue of city life. During the day, the hotel offers free handicrafts and light painting photography, while evenings feature stargazing lectures and complimentary hands-on experience with professional telescopes. It was a fulfilling and romantic stargazing trip that made the entire journey even more memorable. I genuinely recommend it! The homestay we arrived at on 10/4 is more than 50 kilometers from Yinchuan by Didi. I would like to remind everyone to use Amap Navigation to search directly for Yinong Winery. We booked a Chinese-style room. The room was very big. Because it was on the second floor, the ceiling was very high and it felt comfortable. A reminder that there may be fruit flies in the room in summer, which is inevitable in a wine-making place. Don't mind them if they come, just deal with them yourself. Breakfast is simple, millet porridge and sweet potatoes are delicious. The room is basically the same as the hotel. I would like to remind you that the hot water is electrically heated and there is a temperature indicator on the top of the bathroom. Use the water as quickly as possible, especially when taking a shower, and pay attention to the temperature, otherwise the water may get cold halfway through the second person's shower. This is in the mountains, not in the city, so everyone should be conscious of saving when staying here. On the second day, we visited the winery. You need to ask the front desk for the visiting time, which is usually after breakfast. It also depends on whether the front desk lady is busy. It may be a little later in the peak season. They will gather the visiting guests to visit the wine cellar and the vineyards, and explain their brewing and harvesting. After listening to it, you will feel that as a boutique winery, from hand-harvesting grapes to self-brewing, every drop of wine is hard-earned. If you are lucky and the weather is good, you can also see the reclining Buddha of Helan Mountain opposite from the open-air terrace of the winery. At noon, we had ”Strolling Chicken” at the winery and drank their ”Xiao Ya” which I thought went well with the chicken. 2 people ordered 3 dishes and couldn't finish them. I bought two bottles of wine from them. Tip: buying wine at the winery is half the price of buying it on Taobao. Very good value. The service attitude of the lady at the front desk was super good, and I was very happy to stay here.

Before I went, I looked at the pictures very beautiful. Because of temporary overtime, it was dark at the hotel and missed the sunset, but I was shocked by the warm lights and stars of the hotel. It was really like a fairy tale cabin! ! The toiletries in the room also smelled good lavender! Although I can’t pick grapes in winter, there is no bonfire. The weather is a bit cold, but it’s worthwhile to see this beautiful starry sky. I also met our Dali fellow sister here. It’s really not easy to meet fellows in Yinchuan. It was a fantastic experience, truly excellent. I came with my family, and the surrounding environment was superb, with parks everywhere.
