The location is not far from Malioboro. However, due to the traffic, it's difficult to walk, so it takes about a five-minute Grab ride. The lobby staff are friendly, and the breakfast spread is good with plenty of options. As for the room condition, the showerhead was a bit problematic, and in my room, I found some small ants. Luckily, they didn't reach the bedroom, but it's something to keep in mind if you're staying at the Suite Residence.

Overall, the hygiene and service were excellent. The breakfast had a great variety, and the small petting zoo was incredibly therapeutic. All the staff were very friendly, and their English communication skills were excellent. However, the water pressure in the shower fluctuated, making the hot water unstable; if you set the temperature too high, you could get scalded. Also, the air conditioning wasn't cold enough.

Reasonably priced hotel. Across road, there is a pharmacy, supermarket, nasi padang local dish stall and 15mins walk to Maliboro Street. Hotel breakfast at 80rp...cheap but no variety. Everyday, same food. Hotel transfer 300rp. Reasonable. Overall, very gd for single traveller. Hotel staff very polite.

The bathroom was filthy. The toilet bowl was all yellow. I wanted to switch hotels, but I had already booked for two nights. I was too disgusted to even take a picture of the toilet. And it was noisy. I could hear people walking in the corridor.

We stayed for an International running event. Majority of our group western. The hotel does not serve or stock alcohol, which the group was not informed of. The town has changed remarkably in 12 years. The rooms are being upgraded however some didn’t have a safe or refrigerator. The bathrooms are small and have mould spots in the silicon sealant. The service from the front desk staff was excellent given they probably haven’t dealt with such a large group of foreigners before. Breakfast was local food and quite good but sometimes took some time to get your order.

Strategic location , many restaurant near hotel. Check in on time at 2pm and can’t early check in but its ok. Room clean 😊
