Really nice place to stay in, exclusive experience, you don’t really need to do any onsen hoping if you stay here, one private onsen booking per day which means 2 booking for one night stay and you have got guest only public onsen which alternate each day.
They were kind enough to accommodate our vegetarian diet even though they weren’t too happy about that because they had to change their whole menu, so I would suggest checking with them before making the booking.
Overall, definitely worth it.

NuonuokafeiThe bad reviews of the service were for the agency and Ctrip customer service. Later, Ctrip customer service apologized to me sincerely. It is best to book on the official website yourself. The agency is too bad. The service of the hotel is excellent. The hotel is in Kurokawa Onsen. I am a free traveler and do not drive myself. The transportation is inconvenient. There is no train, only bus, and there are only three buses a day. The Kurokawa Onsen bus station is an unmanned station with no toilets, no taxis, and no business. Based on some common sense about the inconvenience of transportation in the secret hot spring, I asked Ctrip customer service to make an appointment for the station the day before, and was told that there was no pick-up service and I had to walk there myself. At that time, I felt that it was wrong. Apple navigation said that it was 20 minutes away. As a result, I was dumbfounded when I arrived at the station. I contacted the hotel myself. The front desk did not speak English well. He asked me where my name came from and immediately knew that he sent a car to pick me up. When I arrived, the driver bowed and apologized to me. It took 5 or 6 minutes to drive to the hotel. It was all uphill without signs. When checking in, the hotel staff said that they wanted to ask me how to get to the hotel, but the agency was a landline and no one answered. The hotel has always had a pick-up service. Yueguangshu Hotel is almost perfect. There are only 8 rooms, each of which is very good, and the facilities and supplies are extremely attentive and of excellent quality. Each room has two indoor and outdoor hot springs. The hot spring water is of excellent quality and is really skin-beautifying. The food is top-notch and very enjoyable. In addition, the hotel does not need to find staff who can speak Chinese. Japanese employees are much more polite and enthusiastic. It is enough to use translation software or gestures. The main reason for coming to Japan is that I like the enthusiasm and uncompromised service. In short, Gekkoju is worth a try and I will come again. The water quality of Kurokawa Onsen is well-deserved. There are also high-quality hotels such as Takefu. It is up to you to choose a budget. They are all quite good, but it is too deserted and the transportation is inconvenient. There are no convenience stores or coffee shops, only two or three restaurants. If you want to stay a few more days and stay in a few more hotels, you don’t know where to go after checking out at noon.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in in Japan! When we drove to the door, someone was already there to help us carry our luggage to the room! The room is also very large and very clean, and the private hot spring is really nice! The only thing you need to pay attention to is that the place is relatively remote, which will be more troublesome if you are not traveling by car~

I love the interior of this resort. The staff members are really friendly and helpful. I had little knowledge in selecting local onsen resort, so my initial expectation was not high. Much to my surprise, I love everything this hotel has had. Facility wise everything looks brand new. The room is spacious and comfy. The public bath and indoor onsen are big and clean.
As for the meals, the presentations were good and they were delicious. I have no complaint about it. Keep up with the good work. Look forward to staying there again.

Is this spa hotel well equipped? The room facilities are very thoughtful and in place, there is a private hot spring in the room, which is very comfortable. The staff is cordial and hospitable. They took the initiative to introduce the surrounding environment, and there was a row of people relaxing and feeding the ducks for free, which was really interesting. The breakfast was delicious and rich. The staff was very considerate and knew that my grandma didn't eat fish, so they replaced her breakfast with fried chicken. I will stay in this hot spring hotel next time.

Service attitude is super good, service is thoughtful The room is comfortable and spacious, and a lot of drinks are also presented. The hot spring is more praised But it is more suitable for self-driving tour Worth a visit

The hotel is responsible for free pick-up and drop-off and the service is very kind. It can be seen that the hotel has been around for some years and there is no elevator, but the enthusiastic staff will take the initiative to help carry the luggage. There are 5 bathing seats in the large bathing area, which is slightly insufficient. When we take a bath, there is a shower head that is broken. It can squeeze one for 2 people. The girl behind has to wait for the family room. It is enough for one person, and up to 2 small couples are crowded. There are many pools in the big bath, and there is a mixed soup that can see the waterfall by the river. The scenery is good. The hotel is a bit far from the main hot spring road. I walk slowly. It takes half an hour to go back and forth.

It’s a good private house.
But I’m won’t recommend if weather is cold or raining, or if you’re traveling with young kids.
I travelled with my family with two toddlers.
The bath and onsen are outdoors, not quite well lit and not well covered.
The hot water water pressure is low, and the water is either very hot or very cold.
It was a cold, raining and windy that night.
It was a horrible experience for us because of the above, and the kids had a lot of trouble taking a bath. And we were worried they might catch a cold.
And strangely the door lock of the bath is locked from the outside and not from the inside.
Also remember to buy food before entering.
We bought ours and cooked our own dinner.
Otherwise, it’s a good private house, probably best for adults.

Guest UserThe location is a bit tricky to walk to, but we were able to get help with the pick-up.
The accommodation is a private house, and everything including the kitchen was perfect.
The scenery around the mountain was also very impressive, and it was nice to take a walk in the morning.
The owner couple was very kind and friendly.
We were very satisfied with the cost-effectiveness, and if we were looking for a hot spring, we would definitely go here again.

The room was spacious. It was my first time staying in a dome-shaped room, and it was very comfortable.
The buffet had a lot to choose from, so I was able to eat healthy food.
There were a lot of people, so we had to wait a little, but it wasn't a problem.
The surrounding facilities were also well-equipped, so we were able to use the various relaxation spaces. I'd like to go again.
