"It is newly built and operated since March 2026! This is my first stay at TELK! Located at East Entrance of Vivacity Shopping Mall, with reception at Level 5. There is complimentary detox drinks and coffee served at hotel lobby. Spacious room with nice design in black. Love the breakfast with Iced salted Hainanese Kopi at Ling’s Kopitiam at Ground Floor, at the corner opposite of 7-Eleven convenience store. "I booked this hotel because I need to get near my new apartment for cleaning. There are 7-eleven, halal and non halal restaurants downstairs, and it's very close to Swinburne Uni. The room is small for two people, all and all it's very convenient for me."

"The hotel is beautifully designed, with an elegant atmosphere that creates a very comfortable stay. The interior is stylish, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, allowing me to have a great night's sleep. However, I believe the hotel should pay more attention to housekeeping and quality control, especially considering it is a newly opened property. The white coffee table in my room was covered with a noticeable layer of dust. When I wiped it with my hand, dust came off immediately. Surprisingly, the other tables in the room were clean, so it seemed that this particular table had been overlooked. I also found dust on the floor beside the glass panel next to the bathtub, which looked as though it had not been cleaned. In addition, there was a loose screw beside the fish tank, along with visible traces of unfinished construction or installation work. These details should have been properly cleaned up and inspected before the room was handed over to guests. The weighing scale also had visible dirty marks on it, which did not leave a good impression. Another disappointment was that I called Guest Services twice to report these issues, but no one answered either call. In the end, I gave up trying. Overall, I genuinely enjoyed the hotel's beautiful design, elegant ambience, and comfortable bed. My experience would have been much better if more attention had been given to cleanliness, room inspection, and guest service. I hope the management will address these issues, as the hotel has great potential to provide an excellent guest experience. Should the hotel require further clarification, I would be happy to provide videos documenting the issues I encountered during my stay. "One of the best hostel I tried in Malaysia!! The facilities are all very nice, very complete (they have basic amenities, towels, hair dryers, fridge, board games and even free malaysian ice cream to welcome you!) and well functioning, comfortable beds, and the front desk is super friendly and always ready to help you navigate the towns. The locations of the hostel is quite near to attractions like carpenter street, museums, river cruise, the famous cat statue, etc. So it will definitely make your trip a relaxing and easy. The hostel even have some events occasionally, thats where you have the chance to learn about local culture regional knowledge, so please give them a try when you are visiting Kuching"
