GGuest UserVery close to the ancient town, walked for a few minutes, took a few travel shots, drank a cup of Yunnan Shouchong coffee, the taste was not bad. The car was parked at the hotel entrance to the roadside to pay for the parking space. When I left, the young lady took the initiative to help pay the parking fee.

GGuest UserAs soon as you enter the lobby, the decoration style gives people a different feeling. It is very refreshing and comfortable. The lady at the front desk is very enthusiastic and has a very good service attitude. She also helped us carry our suitcases. The room is also good. I like it very much. It is very clean. I will go there at night. After walking around the ancient town, I found this milk tea stall with a very interesting decoration and good taste.

A fine hotel a few minutes walk from the bus station receiving buses from Kunming, and a pleasant 15 minutes walk (including a section through a lovely park) to a bus station with buses onwards to Dali. Photos of murals depicting aspects of the Yi nationality culture adorn walls of the exit from the park are attached to this post, along with those of the park.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very conveniently located near the ancient town. Just a few minutes walk and we are already in the ancient town. For the price, the room was spacious, bright and clean. It was comfortable enough and we had a good sleep. Although the host could not communicate in English, but he was helpful enough to ensure that our check-in went smoothly. Halal food is also available near the hotel and easy access to take the bus to go around the city. No complaints and we had a good stay at the hotel.

We booked a bigger room but I doubt that we got the bigger room... but it's okay. It was nice and clean, comfortable bed. All we need. They stored our two bicycles in a storage room in the ground floor and gave us some extra water in the morning. Lovely staff. The breakfast is in another hotel a few walking minutes away and is good, nothing special, just the regular delicious Chinese breakfast with noodle soup and buns. Yum.
