My trip to Mangshi this time was quite a journey with a lot of twists and turns. My flight even took off and then returned to Kunming, but thankfully, I eventually landed successfully. I'm also grateful to the hotel for picking me up from the airport twice. I spent a long time choosing a hotel in Mangshi, and I finally settled on Liyin. I tend to prioritize the guest experience, and from my room, I could see the iconic Great Golden Pagoda. The hotel's butler was also very attentive, greeting me every time I came and went and recommending many restaurants and attractions that locals frequent. I highly recommend renting an electric scooter right outside the hotel; Mangshi isn't very big, so it's super convenient to get around. I hope I'll have the chance to visit Mangshi again, and I'll definitely choose this hotel.

The guesthouse is located inside the village, making it inconvenient to drive in and out. There are no parking spaces at the entrance, so cars have to be parked on the roadside in the village. Sometimes, when there are many cars parked in the village, you have to park quite far away to find a space. The cars are unattended, posing a safety hazard! The guesthouse doesn't have an elevator, so older people may have difficulty climbing up and down the stairs. Also, the drainpipe in the shower room is clogged, making it difficult to drain water, so you end up soaking your feet while showering. However, the owner and staff are quite warm and attentive. The only downside is that the tea canister they give you when you leave only has a little bit of tea left; it's unnecessary to give it to them, as it's a thankless task!

I made a lot of strategies, and finally chose their earyu. In fact, I wanted to order them at the beginning, and I was not disappointed! The environment is really beautiful, and I was attracted by the colorful bougainvillea outside the door before I entered! It's so beautiful, the photos can't be withdrawn, and the yard is too sensational. The whole atmosphere is very comfortable, so I want to stay in it all the time. The whole homestay is fully equipped, there is a big kitchen, and overall it is really a cost-effective store, I will recommend it to friends!

The reception was professional, and the staff was very helpful throughout our stay. For example when assisting us with the washing machine, as foreign tourists are unable to read the Chinese characters on the machine’s control panel. We also had an issue with the television and they solved it immediately. They also kindly helped us organize a taxi to Ruili. The room was very spacious and equipped with everything you need. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and soft. We especially appreciated that the window could be opened. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the water temperature remained stable at all times. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, including soups, vegetables, eggs, salad, congee, pastries, fruit, steamed dumplings, and various drinks. A big thank you to the entire team – we felt completely at ease and would highly recommend this hotel.

I chose this B&B because of the courtyard. When I got there, it was much better than I imagined. The courtyard was as beautiful as in the pictures. We arrived very late, and the owner was still waiting for us in the store. Under the rain, there was a bear waiting for guests at the door with a warm lamp on 🐻~. It has been raining these past few days, and my bestie and I were too lazy to go out, so we just looked at the beautiful scenery in the lobby, chatted with the owner, and ordered nine takeouts a day, hahahaha. I teased the two mimi from time to time. Well, it would be nice if they were more intimate. These past few days have been quite pleasant, if the weather is good. We can also play in the swimming pool. I think the household items are also very good. I am waiting for the owner to send the link. The most important thing about travel accommodations is a comfortable and worry-free stay, and this hotel completely delivered. Specially came to Mangshi to participate in the water splashing festival. The hotel is very Dai style. The beauty at the front desk took the initiative to give the mobile phone waterproof cover and recommended the play route. The whole body was soaked the next day. She also took the initiative to remind you to go to the bath center next door with your room card for free bathing. Praise. What I can't understand is that locals in Yunnan's bathing center have to take a bath in shorts. Are you afraid of what I see? Not afraid, you look at me. As a northerner, the bath will be smooth.

Facilities: There's an automatic mahjong table! No need to rub by hand, you can play cards with your friends. There's a rooftop terrace on the third floor for drying clothes, and the courtyard has a canopy so rain won't get in. This price is truly top-tier for a Yunnan youth hostel. Cleanliness: The room has a private bathroom, very clean, and the water is hot. Service: Excellent! The owner is a square dance leader, so you can join in and be the coolest kid in the square! Little Budiu is super cute, the perfect puppy!
