A truly exceptional stay on Jiuhuashan I have stayed in many guesthouses across China, but this one stands out in a very special way. From the very first moment, the communication via WeChat was friendly, quick, and reliable – even though my Chinese is limited and the staff’s English is not extensive. Still, everything worked beautifully. Warm, patient, uncomplicated. It already gives you the feeling that you are in good hands. I stayed for two days, and throughout my entire time there, everything was perfectly organized. I was picked up right on time upon arrival – an invaluable service in a mountain area that can be a little confusing for newcomers. The guesthouse itself is extremely comfortable: warm, well-designed rooms with excellent facilities, a huge screen, electric curtains, cozy bedding, and all the small details that make travel easier. I immediately felt welcomed and well taken care of. During my stay, the staff assisted me with everything I needed, always with kindness and without any complications. When it was time to leave, they also arranged transport back to my bus at exactly the time I requested. Truly flawless service. But the most extraordinary highlight was something I did not expect at all: the free guided tour that the homestay organizes for all their guests. They drove us to the starting point, and then we spent the day walking through the misty mountain paths, visiting nine of the most important temples on Jiuhuashan. It was magical – quiet, mysterious, deeply atmospheric. Our guide took wonderful care of everyone, explained so much about the temples, the mountain, the history, and the spirit of Dizang Bodhisattva, and created a sense of depth that went far beyond sightseeing. This was not a tourist activity. It was a spiritual and cultural experience – something you can only receive from people who truly love their mountain and want to share it with others. In the fog, among ancient stones, incense smoke, and the sound of footsteps on wet leaves, one begins to understand why Jiuhuashan has been a sacred place for centuries. My conclusion: This homestay offers not only comfort, warmth, and excellent service, but also a genuine connection to the spiritual heart of Jiuhuashan. I can recommend Tanxiangyuan Homestay without any hesitation. For pilgrims, travelers, lovers of nature, or anyone seeking a meaningful experience, this place is simply perfect. I am grateful for every moment I spent there.

This is a very new and excellent guesthouse in Jiuhuashan and it turned out to be a great find! The location is fantastic, right along the lively Jiuhua Street. Just across the road is the main bus transfer station, which makes it super convenient for us to take the tourist buses to the 肉身宝殿and 天台索道 There’s also a shortcut to 化城寺— only about a 5–7 minute walk. Overall, the location is very convenient with plenty of food and amenities nearby — nothing to complain about at all. The guesthouse is very well managed: the rooms are new, clean, and warmly decorated, and the owners are very friendly. We’ll definitely come back again!

A special thousand gratitude to miss jjiming the wonderful energetic young lady at the reception.she even went with us at the Jiuhuashan tourist service center without our request to help buying tour and buses tickets. So nice The place is ideally situated near the tourist center when all buses departed for mt jiuhua and back to Chizhou or to the new jiuhua speed train station. So many I mean huge selection of restaurants,supermarkets around. Amenities are plentiful in the niicely decorated room mixing wood and glassware but surprisingly there is no breakfast available. Also the sound isolation is not top and I can hear my neighbours in early morning,not help by the gap at the bottom at the door entrance, It could be easily a perfect 10 but nothing is ! Totally recommend the place.. from the tourist center, walk 10 min to the new commercial with a huge stone flower as an indicator, walk inside and 1st right in a small ally..the hotel in at your right 100m further

After reading the sharing on Xiaohongshu, I decided to stay here. It lived up to my expectations after checking in. The room was clean, tidy, quiet and comfortable. The environment and atmosphere of the homestay were very unique, with many interesting small landscapes that made people's eyes shine! The boss girl was very friendly and drove us in person. The car was very cool 👍👍👍 The dishes cooked by the aunt were delicious. Basically, every dish was eaten clean. We said we would come back for dinner. The aunt was very considerate and prepared the dishes in advance. When we came back at the agreed time, we ate hot local chicken soup. It was delicious! I originally planned to stay for only two days, but because I felt comfortable, I stayed for another day. Next time I come to Jiuhua, this should be our first choice!

The location of this so ideal for me. It was very peaceful and the room was facing the DiZhang Bodhisattva. I could do my prayer, meditation and connect with DiZhang Bodhisattva daily. The recption is friendly and helpful. The furnishing and the resort hotel facilities were old. The sound proof of the room was poor as you could hear some guests were talking and shouting. But luckily it was a low season. Local Chinese will flood these areas duing the Labor day (01-03 May) and their National day (01-07 Oct). Please avoid visiting duing these periods. High speed rail - Jiuhuashan station just completed. Use this station to access Jiuhuashan. Less than 30min to reach Jiuhua Mountain Dayuan Culture Park (九华山大愿文化园). Highly recommend to stay around the 九华山风景区柯村新区.

We stayed for two nights. On the first day, we visited Jiuhua Mountain Dayuan Culture Park, located at the foot of Mt. Jiuhua, before checking in to our hotel at the Jiuhua Street Scenic Area. The following day, we visited the key temples and explored Jiuhua Street. On the third day, we visited the Heavenly Terrace Scenic Area, specifically Tiantai Temple. We were grateful to the hotel for upgrading our room to enhance accessibility for elderly guests, as well as their helpful advice on executing our plan. Also for arranging private transportation and providing pick-up/drop-off services. The only disappointment was the lack of variety at the breakfast buffet.

You can not miss this little gem of a stay! Your stay is inside the scenic area! Your bus to and from the area is across the road! But do not fear about being lost! Your host will take you to the bus stop and even take the bus with you to make sure you get in easy and walk you to the bus exchange centre 😳🤩😎! He even drove me to the cable car area the first day and picked me up! Really a very friend man and his family are also wonderful! I met people from Beijing who return to visit for the third time and they sometimes rent the whole place for their big family! A wonderful experience and by far the BEST host i have ever had!
