This hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Zhujiang South Road Food Street. If you're heading to Nan'ao Island by public transport, bus 161A is about an 8-minute walk away. Tianshan Beef Hotpot is also within an 8-minute walk. Even going to Longyan South Road or the high-speed rail station, a taxi ride is only around 10 yuan. The front desk staff were very helpful and answered all my questions, even allowing me to have a late check-out until 1 PM. The room's cleanliness was decent. The facilities are up to the usual standard you'd expect from a Ji Hotel. But the best part was how quiet the room was (it didn't face the main street), which allowed me to get a great night's sleep. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Shantou.

Guest UserShantou Chronicles: A City Remembered for a Place to Stay
Before coming to Shantou, I'd heard that the Leebai Hotel was listed among Ctrip's high-end hotels, and the Doubao app also recommended it frequently. I had high expectations, and once I settled in, I realized that a good place to stay isn't built on reputation alone, but is hidden in the tiny details of everyday life, making you feel secure and even a little homesick.
Upon entering the lobby, the front desk ladies greeted me with warm smiles. There was no polite distance in their words; it felt more like meeting old friends. The hallway wasn't the typical cookie-cutter hotel design either. The wall colors and lighting created a peaceful atmosphere, and in a corner, a small inscription read, ”Food as a gift, peace in dwelling.” At first glance, I thought it was just a common saying, but after staying for two days and looking back, it truly felt like a genuine statement.
What was most touching were the details easily overlooked by others.
Every day upon returning from my outings, the room was always tidied and spotless. The toiletries I'd casually spread out on the vanity were neatly arranged by the housekeeping auntie; clothes I'd washed and left to dry were folded precisely and placed by my pillow when I returned. Whenever I met a cleaning auntie in the hallway, she would always greet me with a smiling nod, her voice soft but warm. A faint, pleasant scent always lingered in the room—not a harsh incense, but something warm, like sun-dried cotton, making me feel relaxed the moment I opened the door. The room had a power-saving card, so there was no need to worry about waiting for the room to cool down in the summer. All these thoughtful touches made me feel at ease.
The location was also excellent. Right next door was a bustling wet market; walking through it in the morning, my ears were filled with the sounds of everyday life, and the aroma of local food filled the streets. Not far away was Zhujiang Road Food Street, perfect for an evening stroll, with the fragrance of food wafting everywhere. There was a bike rental station downstairs, so I could cycle out in the morning and return the bike right at the doorstep in the evening. Shantou isn't a large city, so staying here made getting around convenient, without wasting too much energy on transportation.
The hotel also provided a hand-drawn tourist map, clearly showing the care put into every stroke. Streets and eateries were marked distinctly, eliminating the need to search for guides. The front desk staff patiently recommended local restaurants, all places frequented by locals, not just tourist traps. The coffee at the bar was also good, with a lingering aroma. Even after drinking it at 1 AM, I was still energetic and wide awake. It's clear that the owners understand how to live; they have a knack for business yet possess a sense of aesthetics. Everything is thoughtfully considered, yet subtly executed.
If there was any shortcoming, it would be that the bathroom pipes occasionally made a sudden noise at night. In the quiet of the night, the sound was particularly distinct, and on two occasions when I was a light sleeper, I was startled awake. However, this minor flaw was overshadowed by the overall comfort and peace of mind I experienced throughout my stay, so it wasn't a significant issue.
Initially, I booked for two nights, but by the second day, I didn't want to leave, so I extended my stay for another night. When traveling, it's rare to find a place that makes you feel so at ease. It's like walking and suddenly stumbling upon a cool, shaded spot under an eaves; once you sit down, you don't want to rush to get up.
Over the past few days, I also tried a few hotpot places, sampling both Tianshan Beef and VIP Beef. Personally, I preferred Tianshan's; the beef had a faint milky aroma, and the beef tendon meatballs were incredibly springy. The Zhujiang Rice Noodle Roll shop next to the hotel is also worth a visit; having a plate in the early morning made my stomach feel warm all day long.
People used to say that you fall in love with a city because of a person. Now I realize that you can also be willing to revisit a city because of a place to stay. Next time I come to Shantou, I think I will still choose to stay here—not because of its luxury, but because it makes you feel like you can have a sense of home and stability even when you're away.

BeijingbaoyeThe hotel is newly opened and has a great overall ambiance. The hygiene conditions are excellent, and the room details are well thought out, including a mini-fridge and tea-making facilities. The bathroom is a highlight with its high-tech toilet and excellent toiletries, and the water pressure for showering is fantastic and very comfortable! The front desk staff are enthusiastic, always ready to answer questions, and genuinely think of the guests' needs! There's free coffee and tea on the first floor of the hotel, which are quite good! The rice noodle roll place next to the hotel is also good, and it's not far from Zhujiang Food Street, which is very convenient!

Guest UserThe room's location is decent, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. It's a hotel-apartment with two large beds, which is great for families with two kids. However, it has its drawbacks. The soundproofing is poor; you can clearly hear conversations from surrounding areas. The biggest issue is the extremely small bathroom, making it very inconvenient to use the toilet – you pretty much have to leave the door open. The shower, on the other hand, is fine with good water pressure. For the price, it's acceptable; you can't expect too much.

All good especially the service and food for breakfast. The best breakfast selection for all the Hampton hotels by Hilton I have stayed . Special thanks to Ms Joy from the front desk who provided very informative and well recommended places to eat for local foods in that area . Her patience must be commended !👍

RenmomoLet me start by saying the owner didn't offer any gifts or discounts for this good review – these are purely my personal feelings.
**Environment:** The location is absolutely fantastic. It's right next to the Kai Fu Culture Museum and the Post Office, about a 5-6 minute walk from Xiaogongyuan (Little Park). Plus, it's not inside the pedestrian street, but right on the main road, making pick-up and drop-off by car super convenient.
**Hygiene:** They provided disposable towels, which we were all very happy with. The toilet and bedding were clean. The living room was spotless and very new; the living and dining areas were large and comfortable.
**Facilities:** The only slight drawback was the limited number of power outlets. It was a bit tricky to find a spot for our portable electric kettle. However, there was a real gas heater in the dining room, which was wonderfully warm and cozy.
**Service:** 100-point service! We ordered a lot of deliveries, and the staff not only received them but even delivered them to our room. We were also celebrating a birthday (with the understanding that we'd clean up all decorations ourselves), and the staff not only discreetly stored our cake but also gave us a small birthday gift. They were always friendly and chatty when we came and went. It really made us feel like all Shantou people are genuinely good-hearted, haha.
**Summary:** We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit!

This time, I brought my child along, so I decided to stay in the county town. First, let's talk about the location. The B&B's location is excellent, with free parking available. Although it's a short walk, it's manageable. Right downstairs, you'll find various restaurants and bubble tea shops. It's practically the Houzhai CBD, very convenient. The only minor drawback is that the hot water is very slow; it takes a long time to come on. After communicating with the owner, they explained that the pipes are long, and you need to let the cold water run out before the hot water arrives.
Now, let's focus on the B&B's hygiene and service.
The B&B is located in an older building, but the rooms are all new, and the hygiene is exceptionally well-maintained. It's clean and odor-free, which already surpasses many B&Bs. Furthermore, the attention to detail is excellent. Right outside your room on the same floor, the owner provides various daily necessities (dental floss, rubber bands, hair clips, razors, makeup remover wipes, etc.). So thoughtful!
Regarding service, the owner led us to the parking lot on an electric scooter. We hadn't checked in yet, and the owner helped us transport our luggage to the B&B. When we checked in, our luggage was already in the room. My child had hives and scratched their skin until it bled a bit, getting some blood on the sheets. I proactively asked the owner if I needed to pay a cleaning fee, but the owner didn't charge anything. What a generous gesture!
The off-season price is also very affordable. Overall, for a 207 RMB B&B, I'd give it a 90 out of 100. The 10 points deducted are in hopes that the owner can improve the hot water facilities. We'll definitely come again if we have the chance!

The service was terrible. We stayed for two days. When we checkin on the first day at around 4pm, the room was not clean up and they staff said they were very busy that day and asked us to wait at the lobby.
On the second day, we came back at around 5pm after a whole day tour, the same situation happen. No housekeeping was done. Same excuse given to us .
This is one of the worst accommodation I have stayed in China. The staff are not welcoming.

Exceptional Stay – Panorama Sea View
Every staff member I encountered – from reception to housekeeping – went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their friendliness, efficiency, and genuine hospitality really made me feel valued as a guest. They also help to receive my taobao delivery of parcels. Well down for all staff. They also specially provide our room upgrade for seaview to our special honeymoon couple.
The hotel’s room & lobby cleanliness is well-maintained. My room felt fresh, tidy, and inviting, with thoughtful touches that showed the care and attention put into daily upkeep. The housekeeping team did an amazing job, and I truly appreciated their promptness and consistency throughout my stay.
The location is also a major highlight – conveniently situated near key attractions located at seaside , dining options, yet peaceful enough for a restful night’s sleep. It made exploring the area effortless, and I could easily return to the hotel for a quick rest before heading out again.
The amenities are well-equipped, thoughtfully designed to cater to both leisure and big group of families. From the helpful lounge areas to the private big room, and in-room conveniences, everything was in place to make my stay both enjoyable and productive.
Overall, my experience here was nothing short of excellent. It’s rare to find a place that delivers consistently on all fronts – service, location, and amenities – but this hotel truly does. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for their dedication and kindness. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, and I look forward to returning in the future.
