999yearsSince the bridge is still relatively new, the whole area and villages have a pre-tourism vibe. You see signs everywhere for shuttle buses and restrooms, but none are operational yet, so the only way to get to the guesthouse is by taxi or your own car.
The guesthouse already has modern yet economical rooms and a restaurant, but of course the highlight is the view of the bridge from the top terrace. There is just a low tree, as you can see in the photo.
Also, the owner seems to drive the guests to a perfect spot to admire the spectacular daily waterfall laser show.

GGuest UserThe guesthouse rooms were clean and tidy, with a living room for relaxation and entertainment. There was a small refrigerator in the living room for freezing things in the summer, and a small balcony where you could sit and enjoy the scenery, experiencing the rural atmosphere and feeling proud of the national engineering feat of viewing the bridge. The owner was exceptionally welcoming, proactively helping with luggage, recommending fun places, and explaining local stories. This stay and trip was a complete success. Thank you, owner!

GGuest User1. The location is particularly easy to find. It is just under the Huajiang Canyon Bridge, Xiaohuajiang Buyi Village. You can drive down the Guanxing Highway or Yundu Service Area. The village is full of asphalt roads. There is also a large parking lot in the village. You don’t have to worry about parking. No matter whether you drive or take a taxi, you can worry about it.
2. There are many places to play around. The old iron cable bridge and the original ecological Buyizhai can be visited. The big viewing platform on the road can see the panoramic view of Mamaya Waterfall and the bridge. At 8:30 in the evening, you can drive to the next hill and watch the bridge light show. The scenery and night view are absolutely amazing. It is particularly interesting to play.
3. This homestay is in good condition in the village, and the health service is also very good. The house is full of things and comfortable to live in. It will be better in the future. It is very suitable to come and live here. It is a worthwhile trip.

GGuest UserI was surprised to find that this guesthouse was run by two handsome young men. Although it's located by the roadside, parking is convenient, with the parking lot just across the street. The guesthouse has a beautiful environment with a terrace offering views of the Huajiang Bridge at night. The rooms, while small, are clean and tidy, and basic amenities are provided. A special mention goes to the handsome owners, who personally drove us to see the light show on the Huajiang Canyon Bridge in the evening. For those planning to take a boat tour on the Xiaohuajiang River, this guesthouse is a great option.
One suggestion for improvement: Given the limited room size, could you add a small table for guests to place their belongings? I had to move the chairs from the terrace into the room.

Environment: The location of the homestay is in the canyon under the bridge. It is a small village. The past distance is a bit narrow, but the road to the mountain is well built. The scenery in the village is good. You can see a lot of stars at night. The village has been developed, but there are still many local residents who maintain their original life, raising pigs, chickens and cattle, so some areas will taste great, but the main roads are very clean, it seems that the village is still adding tourism industries.
Facilities: First of all, I personally understand some objective situations in the area, so I will not be too picky about the problems in facilities and equipment, but in terms of the price of this homestay (up to 170 in the off-season), some problems are difficult to ignore. For example, the room is not equipped with a door key, there is no kettle that can be easily operated, there is no parking space, the washbasin location is too low, there is a socket on one side of the bedside, the sound insulation is a bit poor, and the morning is bright and awakened by the chicken call again...
But on the other hand, the soft decoration of this room is really great, very cultural and folk customs, the bedding is very very comfortable, and the guests can also experience the local tie-dye culture.
Hygienic: equipped with disposable toiletries and towels, the bedding is clean and odorless, and the bathroom is odorless. But the toilet was not cleaned, and there was even a hair...
Service: The most tangled is coming. Although the overall stay experience is average, the boss's service is very good. When we check in, we will send us cut fruits, take us to experience tie dyeing, and patiently explain the method of tie dyeing process. In the morning, we were awakened and left very early. The boss came out to send us in pajamas. The recommended dinner, breakfast, and beverage shops are also delicious, especially the night shift shop, there is also a viewing platform, the evening scenery is beautiful.
The boss is a person who hopes to take all the local non-genetic inheritance, has ideals, and has a high enthusiasm for the national culture.
So as a guest who has high requirements for sleep quality and hygiene, because the boss is personally willing to give a high score.
I also believe that with the Huajiang Bridge, there are more and more guests coming, and the tourism industry such as homestays in this village will do better and better, and achieve real value for money.

MmisslawThis is the first guesthouse in the area, converted from an existing ethnic-style house. It retains the exterior's charm while enhancing the overall stay. From the selection of bedding, air conditioning, and water heater to the toiletries, towels, and daily hygiene, everything surpasses the standards of a typical guesthouse. The navigation wasn't very reliable; you still need to call the guesthouse for directions! The chef's home-style dishes were good, but be patient when it's crowded! A minor suggestion: the dining tables could be improved!
A small drawback is that the limited space in the converted house meant the soundproofing wasn't ideal. The guy next door was still chatting past midnight; those with sleep problems should bring earplugs! Maintaining a good environment requires everyone's cooperation!
