It was my first time staying at the shukubo, but in a good way it was a very cozy inn without being ”formal” or ”stiff”. The food was just right and delicious. The story of the priest in front of zazen was also very good. It was a feeling that life experience was oozing out.

lisaskyThe self-check-in process was incredibly convenient, as there was no need to interact with any staff. The laundry room was a huge bonus, especially after sweating through the summer and ending up with a pile of dirty clothes. The location is excellent, being very close to the station. It's also great that most of the surrounding restaurants are open until 2 AM! I even managed to visit the 'Qilixiang' swing.

I used it when I came to climb Joshu Takeru no Mikoto
Very bright.
Cleanliness is good
The owner is also a nice home inn with kindness.
The shower also comes out with a lot of water.
The kitchen is clean.
I would like to use it next time.
If you are concerned about the sound, you need earplugs.
The sound of the door opening and closing and walking in the hallway sounds.
And I'm going to invite a friend to the bar on the ground floor.
I want to use it.

Excellent experience! The hotel offers free ice and coffee with milk, among other things. The location is also great, about 500 meters from Takasaki Station, and the surrounding area is quite lively. We paid 5000 for parking, which I think was a mistake...

Guest UserThe room facilities are a bit old. But because it is close to the station, it only takes 6-7 minutes to walk and it is very cheap. It's okay to stay for one night
After checking out. Because the luggage has been stored in the hotel. It's raining heavily again. So I asked the hotel to borrow an umbrella. It rained all day and I went back to get my luggage at night. My mother-in-law is very nice. She gave me the umbrella (but I didn’t want it). She is really considerate❤️

A small hotel that stayed in the 1980s - such a place in Japan. The window looks at the train station. A person sleeps for one night, and it is still decent.

recently stayed at the Route Inn Takasaki Hotel, and it was a delightful experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making check-in a breeze. My room was spacious, impeccably clean, and offered a stunning view of the river. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities provided, including a well-stocked minibar and luxurious toiletries, added a nice touch. The hotel's restaurant served delicious meals, and the breakfast buffet was varied and satisfying.

Guest UserThere was no proper smoking area, so I braved the cold and smoked on the stairs on the second floor.
Smoke is coming up through the stairs and into the hallway.
I personally smoke, so I don't really care about it, but someday I'll probably get complaints from guests who don't smoke.

Guest UserI used it for motorcycle touring. The location isn't great, as I can see the train tracks, the back entrance with exposed rust, and a small gravel parking lot, but it was nice to be able to check from the window if the bikes were safe late at night (^^;
Since it was a single use double room, the room was spacious and I was able to stretch my arms and legs and sleep. Although it was a smoking room, there was not much smell of cigarettes.
Two 500ml bottles of water were provided in the refrigerator. There are few restaurants and convenience stores near the hotel, but you can find them within a short walk. The ramen shop that I was guided to by the front desk staff was Jiro-style.
Breakfast was a buffet with Japanese, Western, and even small desserts, and the danishes and croissants were delicious. *Is it because there was no food or fruit available for hygiene reasons?
The cost performance was very good for both Usagi and Kaku. thank you very much.
