The location is perfect, featuring a beautiful rooftop terrace where you can sit and look directly at the Great Wall in total peace. The room itself was modern, and clean, with a great AC, but set right in the middle of a charming, authentic farm. But the absolute highlight of my stay was the host family. The hospitality is unmatched. The Owner Lady of the house cooked some of the most delicious, massive, and authentic meals I’ve had in China, and she went completely out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and well-fed. The food was also unbelievably affordable. The Owner truly went above and beyond for me. When I was struggling to find a reasonably priced car back to Beijing, he spent hours late at night helping me on WeChat, making sure I wasn't overcharged by local drivers. He eventually helped me find a cheap, highly scenic train route back to the city and personally drove me to the local station. They treated a solo foreign traveler like absolute family. If you want a genuine, heartwarming, and frictionless experience at the Great Wall, book this place. 太好吃了 and 谢谢 to the amazing hosts!”

I took my parents to Jinshanling for a three-day, two-night off-peak getaway. **Environment:** The hotel's location is excellent. Right outside, you'll find restaurants and a bakery, and just a short walk away is a large lawn. The interior environment is simple and quiet. **Service:** What's truly commendable is that I added Si Han from the front desk on WeChat during check-in. She was very gentle and polite in person, and always resolved all our issues promptly. Because I was with my parents, she often anticipated our needs. The next time I go to Jinshanling, I'll definitely look for her again. **Private Hot Spring Experience (2 hours):** We used the private hot spring for two consecutive days. It's indeed much smaller than the one at Wulingshan, and the tea and snacks provided weren't as refined. However, the excellent service made up for it.

When traveling during the epidemic, I deliberately chose this hotel to stay away from noisy places. Just follow the navigation. I really like the rural atmosphere here. You can live from sunrise to sunset. The accommodation conditions are also good, the hygiene is quite clean, and the things are also good. It’s very new. The boss and the wife are very enthusiastic. I told the boss in advance that we can have breakfast in the morning. We had a sumptuous lunch at an acceptable price. We went to climb the Great Wall before dawn. I heard from the boss that the red leaves on the Great Wall are still there. There is no discoloration. It will be more beautiful after October. I can recommend friends who love photography to come with me next time😃

We were scared of large crowds at the wall, and followimg many online recommendation we found the Jinshanling section. This hotel is at the great location a short walk from the mid enterance to the wall section, the Gubeikou train station is also very reachable from the Beijingbei (North) train station. It is also quite affordable to reach the place by Didi (550 yuan from the Beijing airport). The place is clean, and the food really stands out as quite amazing, the prices are also very low, for room and food. Just tell the owner you would want a breakfast and you will be served one first thing in the morning. The ladies are also super nice and very hospitable to the foreign turists.

In general, it is quite satisfactory and convenient, it is too cold. The heating is not enough. The service is more enthusiastic and patient. Health is also very good and clean. The environment is better. There are more shops around, and it would be better if the heating was better.

The rooms were clean and hygienic, the owner was warm and attentive, the food was delicious and I really liked it, and parking was convenient. I stayed for six days during my trip to Jinshanling, and the owner always made time to pick me up and drop me off at the ticket gate every day. It's a farmhouse inn with good value for money. I was particularly impressed by their braised fish, magnolia sprout pancakes, stir-fried pork with mushrooms, stir-fried gourd strips with pork, handmade chive and egg dumplings, and homemade pancakes.

The first time I came to Jinshanling Great Wall, I chose Jianguo Farmhouse. It is very convenient for the car to drive to the door of the house. It is about two minutes walk from the ticket gate. The room is clean and tidy. The food is delicious. The boss is hospitable. Explain to us the tour route and where to watch the sunrise and sunset. I lived in a homestay. After booking the room, add the host WeChat and contact. Introduce it to the person in the reception center of the hotel. I said that I will check in this afternoon! Really confused! The next morning I was turning outside, and I sent me a message and checked out before 11 o'clock. As soon as I checked the order, it said that I checked out at 12 o'clock, and asked him what happened? Answer: OK. You are really good enough! I can't say that this person's service attitude is not good, can say that he is a confused, work is not concerned people!
