"It was a pleasant and perfect stay for both my husband and I for a short getaway trip after our wedding!  The staff there were really friendly polite and thoughtful too!  After picking us up from the ferry terminal, Nabil, asked us if we needed anything to buy and he drove us to get what we needed before heading to the resort!  Upon reaching the resort, we were greeted warmly by the staff and checked in. The restaurant within the resort serves delicious food and a wide variety of dishes to choose from!  Recommend RICA RICA restaurant that serves authentic indonesian food and is affordable !!  The room itself is very clean and comfortable to stay in! We also went to the public pool for a swim and it was just so nice with the sea breeze 👍🏻  Wanted to try out island hopping but the weather conditions weren’t good so had to give it a miss. Instead we went to the spa area for a massage, it was ookayy  They also provide bicycles 🚲 at your room and you can cycle around the resort which was really nice!!  I would come back again someday!! Not a place to missed when staying in Bintan resort to relax ! Good job to all the service staff !!"

"We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Banyan Tree Bintan to celebrate my birthday and Mother’s Day. While the resort itself is lovely—we especially enjoyed our seaview rainforest villa—it was the people who made our stay truly unforgettable. The service and hospitality were incredible. The staff went above and beyond, from enthusiastically helping my husband coordinate birthday surprises to providing exceptional service at every meal. We were consistently impressed by the team members who delivered and beautifully set up our room service, the housekeeping staff who kept our villa pristine, and the thoughtful team who surprised my son with a fantastic turndown treat. The genuine care shown by the staff is the primary reason I would return, and I truly hope the resort continues to value and foster such an amazing team. Regarding the amenities, while the resort does show its age, it didn’t detract from our experience. Our only suggestion would be to refresh the villa pools, as we encountered some issues with water clarity during our stay. Despite that, we thoroughly enjoyed our time and would certainly recommend the resort for its world-class service. Shout out to Winny (reception), Daus, Lilik, Darwis, and Hamid who made our stay (and my birthday and Mother's Day) truly magical! I also want to compliment the staff of all three restaurants: Treetop (they made my son his favorite orange and carrot juice every morning), Saffron, and Cove — food was great but service even better."

"At Nirwana Garden Resort, staff are friendly and genuinely nice. The beach is clean and clear waters that you can see fishes swimming around you… and watch sunset in the sea waters. Its windy and cool in the morning and evening. Food offered at good, esp the lamb shank stew. Also have nice spa - go for the Javanese massage! There are also 3 iguanas kept at the resort. We also went bowling and archery. At night we also went out for fireflies watching and kelong restaurant dinner."

"WonderI had such a great and memorable stay here! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted so warmly by the team. We were even given an early check-in at 11am, which was such a thoughtful touch and made our arrival so much more comfortable. We rented a scooter during our stay, and I found the rental very reasonable. We also kept requesting the buggy whenever needed, and the staff were always helpful and accommodating. The next day, we requested a late check-out until 1pm, which was arranged for IDR 200,000. We also had lunch here, and the food was excellent — definitely one of the highlights of our stay! We had a BBQ on our last night, and the food was absolutely amazing! Everything was delicious, and it was such a wonderful way to end our stay. We also went for another round of archery, and when we returned, something really wonderful happened. One of the reception staff, Rizal (if I remember his name correctly), had found my cousin’s wallet, which we didn't even realise she had lost! We were so grateful for his honesty and attentiveness. It really showed how caring and trustworthy the staff are. Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay. The warm hospitality, helpful staff, great food and little touches throughout our visit made the experience even more special. Thank you to the entire team for taking such good care of us. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to come back again! ❤️"

"The room was spacious, breakfast was delicious, and the pool water was clean. It's very close to the sea, and the service was excellent. They offer childcare, and there's a free shuttle service from the pier to the hotel, as well as a free shuttle for shopping. When checking in, they ask for your departure ferry details, and upon check-out, they arrange your ferry tickets and provide transportation to the pier. There was an incident where guests upstairs mistakenly tried to enter my friend's room in the middle of the night and asked housekeeping to open it. The hotel immediately called the police and checked the surveillance footage after being informed."

"Cleanliness of the rooms was okay. They had a bathtub but the water was either brown or green and it seems that the hot water supply is limited as it’s hard to fill a tub of hot water again once you’ve done it once. Also, you can only turn on the hot water from one source, then other water sources will be cold, which was quite inconvenient. There’s only one restaurant there so food options are limited. The nearest food area is a plaza that’s a 5-min Grab ride for about $5 or a 30-min walk that is bug infested. Plaza had many food options so that was good. The free breakfast was not very good. Bread and cakes are stale, and the food options are repeated and limited as well. We did try the private BBQ which seems to be pretty new for them, it was slightly expensive ($40) for the amount of food and variety provided but we tried it for the vibes. Staff there were very friendly and on task, and responded very quickly to requests which was good. Overall the room was big and spacious, while being quiet so we quite enjoyed that aspect. The stay was pleasant overall but there’s some room for improvement in terms of water source and food option."

"Absolutely enjoyed our stay at Cassia. The single beds were super single, comfy and spacious. I loved the private beach shared with Homm and Banyan Tree. We went before the long weekend started. So there was no crowd and we got to enjoy the beach mostly to ourselves and with other family guests. The tide was mostly calm and sea shallow. It was therapeutic for my 5 year old just to be in the sea water bobbling with the calm waves. Breakfast was tasty especially the local dishes. Staff was always friendly and smiling. It is a 5 star stay with a superbly reasonable price. I’m so glad I chose Cassia. Thumbs up to the staff during our stay and the reception lady for remembering my daughter’s name. For those who are fearful of the island heat, take note that breakfast is served in a non-aircon restaurant. But that’s the whole idea of a beach holiday!"

"First time in Bintan. Had an amazing experience at the resort. Check in was smooth by Pancha. Initially assigned a room quite secluded, requested for a change and got a much better room on the ground floor facing swimming pool and the beachfront. Amazing customer service, amazing staffs, everyone was friendly. The resort is in a private estate, together with Cassia and Banyan Tree. The beach was very private and quiet. Definitely enjoyed my time there. The one downside is the fact that it is in a private estate, it is quite far from town. Eating out is difficult, Bike Grab isnt available. Grab car was quite difficult and expensive. The best way was to hire a tour guide. I hired a tour guide for the whole 3 days. Amazing experience, just an hour ferry ride away from the hustle of the city of Singapore. Will come back for beach vacation."

"The free shuttle from the ferry to the resort was super smooth. We got a great fruit juice and a warm welcome from the front desk. Lots of free activities there too. I was really looking forward to the dance and aqua dance, but after waiting in the lobby, we found out there wouldn't be a class that day. It would've been nice if they'd put up a notice so we didn't wait for nothing. Then we did other stuff like rock painting, animal education, and tie-dye tote bags, which was awesome. I even chatted with Mizhelle as she passed our dried tie dye the next morning while she did my henna – such a happy person! The room was pretty clean and roomy. The AC worked great, and they even gave us a cute, big woven bag to use. I brought earplugs because reviews said you could hear people outside. But all we heard were buggies, crickets, and frogs, so it was all good. Our stay included daily breakfast, and the hospitality was amazing. They greeted us by name, which made us feel special. The staff even remembered our names when we just walked by them – effort 10/10! We did the BBQ, which was an 8/10. It was a cozy dinner setup. Unfortunately, there were tons of mosquitoes feasting on us while we BBQ'd and ate, even with repellent on. The staff forgot the oil spreader, so we couldn't cook for a bit. But the night was still a great experience for us both. Definitely a memorable vacation. I just wish the lagoon stayed open longer than 6 pm."
