"I booked a Peak View Premium Room, but it turned out to be on the first floor. When I opened the window, all I saw was a wall. I checked, and the sea view room was only a few tens of yuan more expensive, but it was a beach cabin. I really got a raw deal (bloody loss). I arrived at the hotel around 9 am and asked if I could check in early, perhaps at 12 pm, if the room was clean. I was told 'no, no, no,' and that I had to wait until exactly 2 pm. I was waiting for the welcome drink on the beach. The redemption card showed it could be used from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. At 11 am, when I asked, they said the restaurant was being cleaned and I had to wait. My companion and I were lying on the beach chairs, and no one came to offer us even a single towel, yet all the Caucasians on the adjacent chairs had towels. ๐Ÿคท My friend also asked how much it would cost to get a ride to the city. They said 100,000 Indonesian Rupiah (39 RMB) for a one-way trip. So, they dropped my friend off in the city. When it was time for them to return to the hotel, they couldn't be reached. The hotel kept ignoring messages, leaving them hanging. In the end, with no other option, they had to take a motorcycle taxi in a torrential downpour, speeding back on mountain roads. ๐Ÿ‘"

"This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The only minor drawback is that the rooms are a little bit small, haha. But the service, well, that goes without saying โ€“ it's top-notch. The rooftop restaurant isn't even that expensive, and they even had World Cup viewing events. The hotel is super close to the pier, just a 10-minute walk. The little street below has a KFC and Starbucks, making it really convenient for Komodo island hopping. All in all, it was the perfect end to our graduation trip after the 'gaokao' (college entrance exam)."

"We stayed for 3 nights, and the hotel's views were absolutely stunning! The room was very comfortable, and the Southeast Asian restaurant by the pool had delicious food at reasonable prices. The front desk can help arrange taxis if you want to go out. We tried a local seafood stall once but never went back because the environment was so poor. After that, we just ate at the hotel, and we never got tired of it. The breakfast was also incredibly rich, with many local specialty dishes. The restaurant opens at 6:30 AM for breakfast, but if you need to leave early, you can pre-order a breakfast box to take with you, which is very convenient. Highly recommend!"

"This resort is nestled in the mountains, a bit far from the city center, but you can easily get a Grab motorbike. If you're staying here, I'd recommend eating at the resort (the food is actually quite good). I really want to highlight the environment! It's incredibly comfortable and perfect for a relaxing, 'lie-flat' vacation! โ˜บ๏ธ And the staff's service attitude is super good, friendly, and enthusiastic โค๏ธ The drinks in the mini-fridge are all complimentary, too. I chose a suite with a balcony, which was perfect for just sitting, zoning out, enjoying the breeze, and taking in the scenery. The pool is also very clean! This has been my favorite place so far during my entire trip in Indonesia. One thing to note might be that because it's in the mountains, you might encounter some bugs, and sometimes the tap water can be a bit yellow. Other than that, it's pretty much perfect!"

"The accommodation was fine, the room well-equipped and with hot water. It's a bit out of the way (you know that when you book, of course), but with Grab it's not a problem. A bit more expensive by Indonesian standards. The staff are very friendly. We deducted a point for the restaurant; we didn't find the dinner that good, but it was relatively expensive. Bruschetta with tomatoes, for example, was not crispy at all; we were only there one evening. We also deducted points for incorrect information regarding prices (additional breakfast was offered online for less than on-site - but after inquiring, we got the cheaper price) and shuttle information. The airport shuttle is free; a taxi into town costs 100k, or about 20k with Grab. Nice pool and outdoor area."

"Our original plan was to stay at this hotel, but an unexpected storm caused our boat to be cancelled, preventing us from reaching the island on time. While we were anxious, the hotel's customer service proactively reached out to us. Not only did they express sincere concern, but they also surprisingly arranged complimentary accommodation for us at a partner hotel on the main island until the weather improved and ferry services resumed. Even though we couldn't check in as planned, their handling and service throughout the process were exemplary. They consistently communicated patiently, actively coordinated, and did their best to alleviate our inconvenience and anxiety. This genuine customer-centric approach left a far deeper impression than a smooth check-in ever could. Although the weather left us with a slight regret, it also allowed us to personally experience the hotel's unexpected level of responsibility and attentiveness. This crisis management capability and sincerity alone are enough to make us confident in their service quality. We will definitely find another opportunity to experience the hotel's charms firsthand next time!"

"Compared to six years ago, Komodo has opened many new hotels. Although Plataran is not new, it feels the closest to nature. The traditional welcome ceremony is very interesting. The hotel is a little far from the city center, but you can help call a taxi. There are many free activities in the hotel. The snorkeling in the hotel is the most recommended. There are many corals and fish in the sea. There is a restaurant that is only for hotel guests. It tastes good and you can enjoy the food while watching the sunset."

"This is the first time I've given a hotel a 6-star rating. It's a hotel that is perfect to the extreme, exceeding all expectations. Compared to their service, facilities, and environment, the price is incredibly cheap. The snorkeling environment is unbeatable. We saw turtles almost every day for 6 days, and they were right next to the island, along with colorful and diverse coral reefs. The water isn't deep, so you get a very close view. In the mornings, the waves were very small; for two days, there were almost no waves, making it perfect for beginners. We saw countless different fish species. The snorkeling environment felt very safe; we didn't encounter sea snakes, and sharks were far away in the deeper parts of the ocean. Staff would take us out in a small boat to a more distant part of the island, and we'd drift back with the current. Several times, I saw staff going out in a boat to check on guests who had stayed too long in one spot admiring the coral. The bedding is also excellent, very comfortable, and not damp. The price also includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which are very exquisite and plentiful. My only gripe is that after 6 days and 15 Western meals, I really couldn't get used to it. They even strictly adhered to Western dining etiquette, serving appetizers, main courses, and desserts in order, clearing plates before bringing the next course. The serving standards were also good. Boarding and disembarking boats felt very safe. The water isn't desalinated seawater, and they clean the rooms twice a day, even turning down the bed in the evening. The only minor issue was that the hot water in the bathroom shower was inconsistent. However, we usually showered after snorkeling in the mornings, so it was acceptable. The bath towels were white, soft, thick, and very comfortable and new, though they shed a few small fibers, probably because they were so new. This hotel alone is a reason to revisit Komodo."
