This hotel wasn’t the most expensive one I’ve booked, yet it delivered the best experience by far. Perched on a cliff, it is fully equipped with complete facilities and surrounded by stunning scenery. The hotel’s bougainvillea blends seamlessly with the natural surroundings. You can witness four distinct breathtaking views throughout the day — morning, noon, afternoon and sunset, with the sunset being exceptionally gorgeous and perfect for photos. The hotel staff are incredibly warm; they are the most thoughtful and friendly service workers I encountered during my entire trip across Indonesia. All the hotel restaurants serve fantastic food. The main restaurant offers Asian, Italian and even Chinese cuisine, which suits the taste of our Chinese family perfectly. The Kiks Seafood Restaurant in the evening stands out especially, serving the most delicious grilled seafood I have ever tasted. Compared with Ayana in Bali, the service here is superior. The staff are more welcoming and always wear smiles, making me feel right at home. There are never too many guests, so it never feels crowded. Whether you are dining, relaxing on a lounge chair, playing in the swimming pool, wandering along wooden boardwalks, joining sunset tours or enjoying sea activities, everything feels comfortable, free and laid-back the entire time. This is what a real vacation ought to be like. I don’t even need to travel elsewhere; spending five or six days staying inside this hotel would be absolutely perfect. The hotel also provides a full range of recreational activities. We only stayed for two days and left wishing we could stay longer. The housekeeping staff folded adorable monkey and animal shapes out of towels for us. Without a doubt, this is the most wonderful hotel I have ever stayed in, and the only one I’m eager to revisit. Excellent location, wonderful staff. We arrived on August 15th, the day a morning earthquake occurred. We only found out about it at the airport and wondered whether we should still fly. I messaged the hotel, and they quickly replied, confirming everything was calm and operations were normal. We spent three excellent days on Flores, sunbathing and swimming in the 5th-floor pool. Breakfast starts at 6:00 AM, which is very convenient for those heading out on excursions. The room had a water view, and I couldn't hear the mosque (I'd read about the sounds in previous reviews). Just around the corner is a fantastic fish market—a favorite dinner spot for many tourists. Don't be afraid to bargain; you can get a good discount. Our original plan was to stay at this hotel, but an unexpected storm caused our boat to be cancelled, preventing us from reaching the island on time. While we were anxious, the hotel's customer service proactively reached out to us. Not only did they express sincere concern, but they also surprisingly arranged complimentary accommodation for us at a partner hotel on the main island until the weather improved and ferry services resumed. Even though we couldn't check in as planned, their handling and service throughout the process were exemplary. They consistently communicated patiently, actively coordinated, and did their best to alleviate our inconvenience and anxiety. This genuine customer-centric approach left a far deeper impression than a smooth check-in ever could. Although the weather left us with a slight regret, it also allowed us to personally experience the hotel's unexpected level of responsibility and attentiveness. This crisis management capability and sincerity alone are enough to make us confident in their service quality. We will definitely find another opportunity to experience the hotel's charms firsthand next time!

I stayed here for 12 nights in April and loved it! I booked the breakfast package and it's well worth it. There's mostly local dishes which are absolutely delicious and also some western dishes. I'm vegetarian and there was plenty to choose from. I was always offered eggs, which I declined because I was happy with what was there. If you're leaving early for a tour you're offered a little breakfast box to take with you. The location is excellent being 10 minutes walk from the airport. If you want a taxi it's only 50,000 idr. There are numerous eateries within a 10 minute walk and an excellent massage place about 2 minutes walk away. Because the hotel is close to town and the harbour, tour companies offer pick up and drop off. I was really happy with my room, it was spacious and clean with a small fridge and most importantly, an air conditioner. I had twin beds and the bed was like a king single size and roomy enough for me. The bathroom was spacious with a huge shower, a toilet and toilet paper. The hotel has complimentary bottled water and you can use these bottles to refill from a water dispenser which is located on every floor. I was on the 7th floor and the views were great from there. I knew there was no lift when I booked, but this wasn't an issue for me. I found it was good exercise and helped to work off the numerous delicious breakfasts. All the staff were absolutely amazing and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, they're all so happy and I was always made to feel welcome. You get asked if you want your room cleaned, advice on places to see and they always know someone that can take you somewhere. Stand out person was Andri, he was so lovely and helpful. Highly recommended this place.

1. The hotel environment is superb, with a picturesque pool facing the sapphire blue sea – a great place for swimming and enjoying the view. 2. The room is spacious with large windows, directly overlooking the beautiful pool. Lying in bed and admiring the scenery is incredibly refreshing. 3. Breakfast is plentiful, and the setting is pleasant. 4. My biggest thanks go to all the hotel staff. When they learned I had been stung by a sea urchin, they all met to enthusiastically help, providing vinegar, salt, hot water, and a basin, allowing me to get timely treatment. Thank you again!

Loved everything at Eco Tree. The only downside was the Wi-Fi connection, as it was a bit unstable and tended to disconnect frequently. Other than that, we truly enjoyed the warm hospitality and welcoming service. The room was clean and neat. Loved every moment of our stay 🤍

One of the standout features is the private outdoor bathroom, which makes for a special experience—showering under the open sky and even catching a glimpse of the stars. The laundry service was also convenient and added to the overall comfort of the stay. There are a few practical considerations to keep in mind. The final stretch of road leading to the guesthouse is in poor condition; while it wasn’t an issue for me, it could be challenging for those who are not confident riding a scooter. Additionally, the nearby mosque broadcasts prayers late at night and early in the morning (around 4:45 am), which can be quite loud and may disrupt sleep if you’re sensitive to noise. I would recommend this place for travelers who appreciate unique stays and don’t mind the outdoor bathroom setup, the rough access road, or the early morning and nighttime noise.

Amazing views in an incredible spot! However be warned - there is a VERY steep hill to get to the main road and the water, even though it is only a block away. Steep steps also within the hotel to get to the room; however the staff were very helpful in carrying bags up for us, etc. Absolute bliss relaxing in the pool with million dollar views and a cold bintang after a day of exploring the islands. There are many insects/caterpillars crawling around. But that is part of being in nature, and they are not at all dangerous in any way. Room service was very helpful in keeping the room clean and clear of these little friends when required.

An excellent hotel where everything is thoughtfully arranged for a comfortable stay. The rooms and the entire property were very clean and well-maintained — everything looked neat and pleasant. The water in the shower was always running well, and there was consistently hot water, which is especially appreciated after a long day. A special thanks to the staff: kind, smiling, and always ready to help — you can really feel that they care. We were especially impressed that they prepared breakfast earlier than usual for us because of our early tours — a small gesture, but it says a lot about their attention to guests. At night, it was quiet and peaceful, nothing disturbed our sleep, and the room had a cozy atmosphere. The grounds are beautiful and green, clearly well looked after. We were very satisfied with our stay and would gladly recommend this hotel to our friends. Truly well done!

The place is not remote. It takes ten minutes to take a taxi to the airport. It takes only two steps to go to the supermarket on the main road to buy things. The room is also very clean. The wifi mineral water is available. It is to catch up with the earthquake. The quality of the house is also very good. No problem.
