"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our family had a wonderful stay at UNWIND Hotel Sapporo. The room was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our family. We loved the cozy atmosphere and the friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast was delicious and a great way to start each day. We also enjoyed the free wine service in the evening, which was a lovely touch and made our stay feel even more special. Parking was convenient and reasonably priced at JPY 1,500 per night, making it easy for us to explore Hokkaido by car. Overall, our family loved this hotel and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended for families and travelers with a rental car!"

"This was the best hotel of our trip. From check-in to check-out, we felt the warmth and saw the smiles of the staff throughout. The included dinner was delicious and exquisite. The set breakfast was also pretty good. The hotel offers a variety of entertainment activities and facilities, so you won't get bored at all, and the environment is beautiful. The only downside is that the soundproofing isn't great; you can hear doors opening and closing from upstairs and next door."

"Honestly the only praise to give to this hotel is the staff attitude and the location which is near the canal. The staffs were-Helpful and dedicated .  I can accept the hotel is old and not so spacious. But one thing I really can’t take it is the level of the bathroom. I can’t understand why the level is so high. We need to step a big leap to climb in order to get into the bathroom. Also to get into the bathtub to stand to shower was dangerous too. It was unbelievable deep. I almost fell.  This hotel is really not suitable for elderly people. And need to pay extra careful attention when you climb to the bathroom and to the bathtub. Sometimes I do not understand why can’t just list out that you would need to collect onsen tax. If I know I need to pay for that I would not want to choose this hotel. Because I do not go for the onsen."

"Loved our stay in the Maisonnette Double Room! The loft design was a fun touch and gave us plenty of space to relax. The hotel feels very new, clean, and stylish. "This is a comfortable boutique hotel in Otaru. The room is cozy with the barrel the most interesting feature that doubles up as a table and a fridge. The buckwheat pillow is comfortable for a good night rest. What impressed me the most is the breakfast. There is a wide array of food including seafood and fresh milk. Onsen is comfortable too. Overall I will strongly recommend this hotel in Otaru as it’s still new and tip top service and amenities."

"This guesthouse seems to be run by Chinese owners, which is nice. My room was right by the entrance. After checking in at the front desk, I couldn't find it until I turned around... it felt a bit like sleeping in a guardhouse. The soundproofing isn't great either. Because of its peculiar location, it gets very noisy in the mornings. And the room next door seems to be a staff office, which also generates a lot of noise. However, the room was warm and clean, perfect for a night's sleep, and the price was excellent. The only downside is that it didn't have a private bathroom. The common areas were clean and there was even coffee available, which was a pleasant touch."

"This hotel in Otaru is fantastic for those traveling by car. Parking is super convenient and very affordable right next door. It’s also incredibly easy to walk out and explore the nearby shopping arcade. The rooms are spotless, tidy, and feel very new. The hotel staff are all incredibly friendly and welcoming. I honestly think I’ll be staying here again. After dropping off my bags, I could immediately head out to browse the Kitaichi Glass Museum, which has so many exquisite and beautiful glass products. Then it was a quick trip to Kitakaro and Rokkatei to grab lots of souvenirs. It was all so convenient and close by! In the afternoon, I even had time to relax with coffee and afternoon tea. I'm really looking forward to my next stay here!"

"This isn't my first time staying at a Dormy Inn; I stayed at one in Kumamoto previously and absolutely loved it. The Otaru location is right in front of the station, which is super convenient. So, I didn't hesitate to choose Dormy Inn again. They offer complimentary Yakult and ice cream, which my child adored. The free ramen served as a late-night snack was a light soy sauce broth, easy on the stomach. Breakfast quality is outstanding, featuring seafood donburi, soup curry, tempura, grilled seafood, Hokkaido milk, and local specialties. Many hotels serve frozen fruit, but Dormy Inn offers fresh fruit!"
