We booked a cozy king-size bed room, which was affordable, spacious, and had a refrigerator, washing machine, and induction cooker. The downside was that the sink had a bit of odor and no towels were provided!

The hotel smell with cigarettes. We had to stay at the room full of the cigarette smell for the night coz we arrived late and couldn’t be bothered to change room. It was great they changed the room straight away but then I smell the cigarette again at the corridor. It’s a non smoking hotel but guests are still allowed to smoke in the room. The laundry was disgusting, I can’t wash the clothes coz the washing machine was full of detergent and dryer wasn’t working. The room was big though and location was good Will not stay here again.

The rooms are very clean and tidy, the sanitary conditions are good, the mattress is very comfortable, very close to Changhai Hospital. Mainly the boss and his wife are very enthusiastic, and the boss who arrived in the middle of the night is warmly received. I also helped to accept the courier later, and I will stay next time.

The price is indeed cheap for Shanghai, but the room is very small, in fact, it can be upgraded. After all, in Shanghai, the room is better, and the price is more expensive, and many people choose to live.

Best time to visit Shanghai is generally during spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November). The weather is pleasant, with mild temperatures and fewer crowds compared to summer and winter. During these seasons, you can enjoy outdoor activities and explore the city's attractions without the sweltering heat or bitter cold.

To avoid large crowds and potential overcrowding, it's recommended to steer clear of major Chinese holidays such as Labor Day (May 1st, usually a week-long holiday) and National Day (October 1st, also typically a week-long holiday). These periods can see a significant increase in tourist numbers, leading to longer wait times at attractions and busier public transportation. Planning your trip away from these dates will help ensure a more enjoyable and less crowded experience in Shanghai.
