Hotels in Dishui Lake and Lin-gang Area, Shanghai

We brought our family to Lingang for a mini-vacation. To seamlessly connect to the Yaoxue Water World, we ultimately decided to stay at the Crowne Plaza Shanghai Lingang Snow World. We paid extra to upgrade to a scenic view room, and the hotel even provided us with a butler. The scenic view rooms at the hotel are truly excellent; you can see the castle and the water park's infinity pool right from your window. The TV in the room is also very large, and even the tissue box has a snow and ice theme. The breakfast buffet restaurant on the second floor has a lovely Nordic vibe, almost like being in a Disney restaurant. It's beautiful no matter where you take photos. The breakfast selection is quite rich, with scallion oil noodles at the noodle station and freshly made roujiamo by a staff member, which were delicious. Remember to go early; around 9 AM, there might be queues and crowd control at the restaurant entrance. Direct access to the water park from the third floor of the hotel is incredibly convenient! After swimming, you can go straight back to your room to shower. The hotel is also quite thoughtful; the air conditioning in the public areas isn't too cold, so you don't have to worry about catching a cold after swimming. It would be perfect if hotel guests could enter and exit the water park unlimited times in a day, but unfortunately, it's only one entry and exit. The hotel's location is also good, with many dining options nearby that offer great value for money and taste. The facilities are very well-equipped. Upon check-out, they even thoughtfully presented us with a small gift. It's the thought that counts, and our whole family was very satisfied with this stay.

Choosing this hotel for our visit to Haichang Ocean Park was such a smart move! The location is fantastic, just over a kilometer from the aquarium, so a quick taxi ride gets you there in minutes – super convenient for getting around. The value for money is incredible; the price is great, and the rooms are spotless. They even provide disposable bath towels and face towels, showing great attention to hygiene. Downstairs, there are tons of shops and all kinds of restaurants, so you don't have to go far for a meal. The room itself was tidy and comfortable with all the amenities you need. For a family trip with kids, staying here saved us so much time and effort. The overall experience exceeded our expectations, and we'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Lingang. Highly recommended!

Extremely satisfied! The Family Suite No. 11 in the East Wing was incredibly nice, a pleasant surprise (see photos). The hotel lobby was actually quite average, which was a little disappointing, but the room completely changed my perception – it felt like an instant upgrade to a luxury experience ☺️. The room offered a 270-degree view: south-facing with water features and greenery, west-facing with views of Haichang Ocean Park, and north-facing towards Yaoxue. The room was spacious, the facilities were comfortable, and the huge tatami mat was my favorite. First day at Haichang, second day at Yaoxue – perfect! I'm already planning a second visit just for the hotel, to make up for missing out on skiing and the planetarium (which I couldn't book before); I also missed the Dishui Lake light show (reportedly on weekends) and watching the Haichang fireworks from the tatami (assuming a weekend booking)…

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The breakfast had everything you could possibly want, the room was clean, the transportation was convenient, and the service was excellent. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit. It's also very close to Dishui Lake and Wanda Plaza, making shopping super convenient.

The hotel's location is excellent, and the rooms are spacious, bright, clean, and comfortable, with soft and skin-friendly bedding. The front desk staff are warm and attentive, and the breakfast is rich and delicious. The facilities are complete, the WiFi is smooth, and the overall stay experience was superb. Highly recommended!

The front desk service was excellent. I was very satisfied with my stay. The facilities are relatively new, and the children's area next to the front desk, though small, is fully equipped with everything. The mini-games were quite stress-relieving. We received fruit and drinks upon check-in. The room was spacious and the design was very cozy. It was clear that most of the breakfast items were freshly prepared with very few pre-made foods. The price of 88 (RMB) was very reasonable. Overall, great value for money.

I originally wanted to stay at a Hyatt, but unfortunately, due to the AI conference, all the Hyatt hotels were fully booked. So, I ended up choosing this one, which is also under the Hyatt brand. I'm giving five stars for the service. Right after booking, they called to add me on WeChat, and all subsequent requests were handled via WeChat – they always responded promptly. Room service was also very efficient; anything I needed was delivered quickly. However, I'm giving one star for the hotel's hardware; I'm practically speechless. First, the trash cans in the room are ridiculously small; you can barely throw a few things away. The same goes for the bathroom one; when you step on the pedal, it only opens about 30 degrees, making it impossible to throw in toilet paper. And the bathroom itself is incredibly tiny! I could barely move while showering without bumping into something. It’s genuinely the first time I’ve stayed in a hotel with such a cramped bathroom. I noticed they thoughtfully offer different types of pillows, but when I called, I was told they were all borrowed. Are you guys operating for the first day or something? Don't you know your own inventory? Also, the TV in the room isn't even facing the bed. There's an indented space in front of the bed that seems to serve no purpose, and watching TV from bed would definitely give you a stiff neck. The bathroom doesn't have a separate ventilation system, and there was always a strange odor. Finally, and most critically, this hotel doesn't even have a robot to deliver food! It's 2026 now, and I feel like I'm back in 2016. For such a large hotel and a reputable group like Hyatt, in this era of artificial intelligence, guests still have to go downstairs to pick up their food. I just can't comprehend it. After staying for two days, apart from the decent location and good service, there are just too many areas that need improvement.

We stayed at this hotel during our trip to Haichang Ocean Park with our child, and it was a fantastic experience! The room was clean and tidy, and the environment was quiet. The staff were thoughtful and attentive; they even provided a separate children's toiletries set when they saw we had a child. The hotel's location is convenient for getting to the park. The bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area with plenty of hot water. Our child slept really well, which made our trip even better. Highly recommend for family travel!
