My stay at El Nido Resorts Lagen Island was nothing short of extraordinary. The staff's warmth and genuine hospitality were exceptional; they always wore smiles and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. From assisting with ferry bookings to surprising me on my birthday with a beautifully decorated bed and a delightful cake, their thoughtfulness was truly heartwarming. Special thanks to Carell, Jojo, Harnie, John, and Arvin for their outstanding support. The resort's happy vibe upon arrival sets the tone, and you leave with a smile, longing for more. The complimentary tours, seamlessly integrated into the package, were made exceptional by the supportive guides, creating a private and well-timed experience. Opting for the overwater bungalow was a unique and enchanting experience, adding to the paradise that is El Nido Lagen Island. The buffet-style meals offered three times a day were a culinary delight. I wholeheartedly recommend El Nido Resorts Lagen Island for an unforgettable and highly recommended getaway. This is an amazing hostel, if there are places, then grab them. There are no disadvantages. The sleeping places are well organized, the rooms and the lobby are very beautiful and admirable. The staff is efficient. And what can I say - the location of the hostel is above all praise. Sitting on its balconies and looking at the sea is a pleasure.

My husband and I celebrated our second year anniversary at Cauayan. We considered other resorts but we have definitely made the right choice. The island is just breathtaking! We were greeted with a warm welcome by the hotel staff and were escorted to our beautiful villa. My husband arranged a private tour of El Nido islands, where we ended up visiting about 7 spots with our guide even acting as our photographer (he took fantastic photos and videos too). In terms of food, the buffet breakfast offered a wide array of food selection. For lunch / dinner, we enjoyed all that we ordered (though some are really very spicy, so take note). The bar staff can concoct amazing drinks as per your mood & whim. I particularly enjoyed the spa and wished I booked a much longer massage. Our stay at the island became so much more meaningful when we witnessed hawksbill sea turtles being released to the ocean….As amazing as all these are, the best part of our stay in Cauayan is the friendly and customer focused staff. They prioritize the customers’ needs, always have a smile on their faces and have just made our stay in El Nido a memorable one. Thank you Cauayan and we will surely return for another amazing experience at your island!

Great hotel in Lio Beach. It’s the biggest resort of the area so it has all of the amenities and services. The rooms was of good size but they might have some issues with the maintenance. When we got in they were fixing the light, and they changed our TV halfway through our stay. The breakfast was decent though for the other meals we followed other guests’ suggestions and went to the restaurants next door. The food offering might not be their strong point. The place is beautiful though, staff is very kind. We will come back! FYI the kids club and gyms are new. Some pictures you see online are dated.

We had an amazing stay at Lihim Resort and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The accommodation was excellent – very comfortable, clean, and beautifully maintained. The food at the restaurant was outstanding every time, fresh and delicious, and definitely one of the highlights of our stay. A special mention goes to Nicky, who was always incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming, making us feel truly at home. The butlers were also amazing – professional, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Overall, Lihim Resort exceeded our expectations, and we were extremely satisfied with both the service and the atmosphere. We would gladly come back and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay.

The garden tent was nestled among coconut trees. At night, the sounds of insects mingled with the waves, and I thought it would keep me awake. Instead, I slept better than I do at home. The place is quite a distance from El Nido town center, which is something to be aware of. The hotel can arrange boat tours, but each tour involves a car ride of about forty minutes there and back. They do offer transfers, which is good, but in the afternoon when everyone wants to go down for sunset, the car gets full. Sunmai has live music in the afternoon. I sat there with a beer, the sea breeze, music, sand, and sun. I thought if this scene were in a movie, it would feel a bit too contrived. But it was real, and it made no difference. Its remote and slightly impractical location is actually a plus. There are fewer people, a calmer atmosphere, and the beach at Nacpan feels almost like your own private paradise.

Located just north of the main town and boat departure beach. Complimentary 24-hour tuktuk service, but walking only takes 15 minutes or so. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was nice and A/C worked well. Bed and pillows were a little firm, but reasonably comfortable. Included breakfast is good. Resort is divided into 3 parts. Cadlao 1, 2, and 3. 1 is at the entrance, 2 is next, and 3 is the farthest away (but still only a few minutes walk). 3 is also the most secluded, which might make it a little quieter. J Benito tour agency is directly across from the entrance, if you want to schedule tours.

The property is small and although not right in the beach it is only. ashore walk through the garden and past a few bungalows to the beach. Not sealt a swimable beach, a bit muddy during low tide. The staff were friendly enough but the toilet continues to have problems with flushing so I assume that either the sceptic tank has not been cleaned out for a long time or there is a plumbing problem, either way we solved the problem by putting sufficient water in the plast ic trash can and would use this to flush through after a big message, all in all not nice when staying two nights, and seeing that management did not do anything about this ( as reported in an earlier review). The bar busy the beach is uninspir8ng, no wonder all guests go nextdoor for happy hour drinks! Suggest to take the pool away and put a nice bar area so guest can enjoy sunset with a great bartender and incredible service then you could be way ahead. The owner manager should sit there every day and talk to guests to find out why guests don’t sit there and fix the problem, not rocket science. Breakfast service team and garden pool bar team zaling a good job.

Matinloc Island is truly one of the best places to visit in El Nido, Palawan. The island offers not only breathtaking natural beauty but also an unforgettable experience thanks to its delicious food and wonderful staff. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. They treated us like family and made our stay comfortable and enjoyable from start to finish. The cooking was excellent — every meal was freshly prepared and full of flavor. The seafood was especially amazing, perfectly cooked and seasoned, and served with care we very love the steam fish. Big thank you for the chef 10/10,dining by the beach while enjoying the view made the experience even more special. The room design was modern, with touches of tropical style that made it feel warm and relaxing. The large windows and balcony offered stunning views of the beach and ocean — waking up to the sound of the waves and the sight of crystal-clear water was simply magical. The bed was soft and comfortable, and the room was well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We also appreciated how well-maintained and spotless everything was. The staff made sure our room was always tidy and fresh, and they were quick to assist with any requests. The bathroom was spacious and clean, with good water pressure and quality toiletries provided. Aside from the food and service, the island itself is absolutely stunning. With its crystal-clear waters, soft white sand, and peaceful atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to relax, explore, and take beautiful photos. Whether you’re visiting for a day tour or staying overnight, Matinloc Island offers the perfect mix of beauty, comfort, and hospitality.

Upon arrival, I was a little surprised by the somewhat isolated road, but as soon as I arrived, I found a special place... beautiful, welcoming, the owner was friendly and thoughtful, she helped us with everything, then rented scooters that allowed us to explore the beaches, etc. Always hot water, air conditioning, satellite TV... swimming pool, in short, a dream. I will definitely be back.
