Take your parents to Nantaihang for a self-driving tour, and go to Shaolin Temple by the way. I booked this homestay nearby. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides and has a good scenery! The owner and his wife and son are very enthusiastic and take the initiative to help carry the suitcase. They have charging piles at home, which is especially convenient. The owner has been a chef before, the food tastes very good, the vegetables are fresh vegetables picked in the field now, the cakes he made by himself are very delicious, and the breakfast the next day is delicious, especially good! We are the elderly family and want to go home, otherwise it would be better to stay in his house for a few more days. There are undeveloped mountains next to his house that can be climbed, and it would be better to play in the surrounding scenic spots. This is highly recommended to everyone, really good!

The hotel is located alone the main street, so it is easy to access main interesting places. Everything in the large room looked very new, are maintained in an excellent condition, the bathroom is huge. There is a shopping center nearby, with good restaurants and a supermarket inside. The owner of the homestay is very friendly and helpful, willing to provide information and suggestions on tours and transportations. Definitely will choose this homestay if I visit the city again.

Very familial guesthouse as close as it can be from Shaolin Monastery. The owners cook good food and can drive you everywhere for a price. The wife is a guide, so she's very resourceful about what to see and do in the area. The husband's brother is a Shaolin monk so you can speak about kung-fu with him. We had a little misunderstanding at the beginning as I had booked a room with a mountain view and the one prepared had no window to the outside but I was able to change rooms. With their help I was able to hike everywher on the beautiful mountains around as I was less interested in kung-fu than the scenery.

We had a great experience staying at Heyuan Hotel in Dengfeng. The receptionist was extremely helpful and helped us book taxis to the various tourist attractions and a bus to the high speed train station at the end of our stay. We also got these cards and a note to show the taxi driver so they would know how to find the hotel. Worked perfectly!

The room was quite spacious, the service was excellent, and the price was really reasonable... I highly recommend it! I forgot to take pictures, but the staff member who opened the door for us was so lovely ☺️ Thumbs up 🌹

The village is very quiet at night. It’s good to go to the Shaolin Temple early in the morning after a good night’s sleep. There aren’t many people there. The boss is very enthusiastic. The B&B is only more than 800 meters away from the entrance of the scenic spot, so I must pick him up. After we had fun the next day, we went to Zhengzhou, and the boss even rode a small electric donkey to deliver our luggage to us.

住在少林寺這邊比較方便，不管是少林寺上下，還是從少林寺打車，再去好漢坡那裡去上，在這邊都非常的方便，酒店定在這裏，行李放在這裏也很便利

Booked it to be closer to Shaolin Temple. It's very close to the mountain gate and you can walk to the mountain gate. But you still need to buy a sightseeing bus to the Shaolin Temple Permanent Hospital and Pagoda Forest, otherwise it takes a long time to walk. The hotel has its own restaurant, which is quite convenient.
