"It's very clean inside the B&B. There will be small hairs on the sheets, which may be related to the way the sheets are washed. Overall it's still very clean. Cave rooms will smell bad. Because it is one floor, it is relatively airtight. Later I changed to a mountain view room. The situation has greatly improved. The room facilities are relatively old and the bed will creak, but overall it is very quiet. Good for sleeping. It's very close to the scenic spot, just across the road. There was nothing else in the room except two bottles of water. You can make phone calls if required. It is recommended to establish WeChat contact when staying at the hotel, which will be more convenient."

"Like coming home, receiving thoughtful care everywhere. Mo Shang Yi Su, though called a B&B, has long surpassed the typical 'agritainment' style. Its facilities rival those of a star-rated hotel, but with an added warmth and human touch that high-end hotels often lack. When I wanted to visit the Shaolin Temple scenic area, the proprietress said, ”Wait a moment, I'll drive you there.” Upon getting out, she didn't forget to remind me, ”Remember to call me when you're done, and I'll pick you up.” It was only about 600-700 meters, but it was incredibly heartwarming. As the sun set, the proprietress had already hosed down the rooftop terrace, suggesting we could go up and sit. After dinner, the entire B&B was filled with the scent of agarwood. Each floor also had an elegant tea room. After a day of sightseeing, the proprietress asked, ”What would you like to eat? We'll cook for you.” After ordering, she said, ”You can go back to your room first, we'll call you when the food is ready.” It truly felt like being at home. Before I left, the proprietress thoughtfully gave me a parting gift, allowing me to take some of that warmth home with me. As I checked out, the second-generation young man who drove me to the station shared some simple yet profound words: ”When we run a B&B, we don't compete with farm stays. We just focus on providing excellent service. We try our best to meet our guests' needs. If there's something we can't do, we find someone to help. "This location is heaven on earth. Surrounded by mountains that take on the form of Buddha. You sit right in the palm of a blessed spot. It is family owned and they treat you like family while you are there. By far some of the kindest people you will meet on your trip. Food is fantastic and homemade. There is a rooftop spot you can relax at, have tea, and even enjoy your meal there. The Shaolin temple is just a short walk from the hotel, and the owners will offer to drive you every time. Make sure to stay here if you are in the area. You will not regret it."

"It is our first time in China - it was a great stay - owner is very helpful - helped us to organise the tickets to Zen Music Festival, and she showed us the attractions in the area, we enjoyed the food - traditional breakfast, we had traditional hot pot for the dinner - great experience, also she made for us in the evening traditional tea (Pu-erh, and green tea) - unforgettable moments. "I had an incredibly enjoyable time here. The boss and his family are adorable and very available. The rooms are clean and quiet. The house is well located next to the central street and shops. It’s very easy to get to places of interest around and find a taxi. The boss knows his region very well and he loves history. I had a fabulous stay. cherry on the cake, his brother-in-law makes burgers and a delicious coffee two minutes away."

"In the last business with limited rooms, we had no choice but to rent a tent. When I arrived at the hotel, I found that it was cheaper than online and there were rooms available. Because it rains, the tent is thrown directly on the ground and cannot be used without a platform. At night, I was forced to take my tent jacket and sleep on the floor in the suite. When I tried to take my own tent items to my room, I was stopped by the waiter! When we checked out, we asked for compensation because we lost a towel and stained a pillowcase! I said we wouldn't steal one of your recycled towels! The waiter said that the towels are disposable and not recycled, so we shouldn't be compensated, right? About the pillowcase. We're only staying for one night. What can I do with your pillowcase? Did you get any lipstick on it? You don’t have any children, so just clean it if it’s dirty! The waiter said that it costs money for us to clean the place and you have to pay the cleaning fee! I'm really impressed. I booked your hotel to watch the Shaolin performance. Don't you know the location and charges of your hotel? It's so unreasonable for such an expensive hotel! No one will steal the used towels that have been recycled and disinfected! Does your hotel charge separately for cleaning bedding? I won't recommend friends to stay there. It's very convenient to take a taxi to see a show without having to stay in this expensive and deceptive place. He looks like he has never seen the world."

"Great homestay with friendly and serviceminded hosts The Dengfeng Youlu Homestay was a very nice experience and can be highly recommended. The rooms were very clean and modern. Spacious and with comfortable beds. The bathroom was also modern with nice amenities. The location is a little outside the city, but closer to the main attractions to Mount Song. So easy to reach with taxi. We found the location very good and convenient since we wanted to go to the scenic areas. We had breakfast included and found it very tasty and nice. It was plain and fresh and a nice selection of nutritious food before starting the day. The service was very good. The hosts didn’t speak much English, but we used translator apps so absolutely no problem for foreigners. The Dengfeng Youlu honestly has a nice compound with a Chinese garden. They also have a pool. It looks very comfy and cosy to sit and enjoy the garden, but we were there in beginning January so it was wintertime. The room we got had nice view of the garden and the mountains. We can for sure recommend this homestay and we think the reviews written so fare are very correct."

"This hotel offers great value for money. The environment and facilities are good, and I'm very satisfied considering the price. They have a laundry room, charging stations, and a small convenience store downstairs, which is very handy. I'd recommend parking your car here during holidays and taking a taxi to the scenic spots; it's more convenient and saves time. The only reason I didn't give it full marks is because there was a family dispute in the room next door late at night, with a lot of shouting after midnight. It was really noisy. I called the front desk multiple times, and although it was eventually resolved, the hotel didn't offer any apologies or explanation the next day."
