I warmly recommend taking a trip to the Shaolin temple and get accommodated in Chanyue Hotel. It is a nice place to stay in for a couple of days, with nice people, the rooms are clean, the service is excellent, their soup I cannot even describe, it’s like being in heaven after a long day….delicious! The lobby is beautiful, authentic.Don’t hesitate, Chanyue Hotel is your place!;)

My first stay at this hotel was truly excellent. Unlimited bottled water, and even complimentary drinks, yogurt, fruit, and snacks. The room was large and spacious, and opening the curtains revealed a view of Mount Song, which was incredibly soothing. The receptionist was also very helpful, patiently explaining anything I asked. This focus on quality elevated my stay significantly.

20 minutes drive to Shaolin Temple. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Pleasingly simple and modern interior design. Nutritious and tasty breakfast. All in all a pleasant stay in this hotel.

First, I want to praise the owners. They came out to greet us from afar on our first night and helped with our luggage. While we waited for our takeout, they even shared some baijiu (Chinese liquor) with us. Secondly, the room was nice and clean, and they even provided disposable towels. Then, the owner's advice on traveling during off-peak seasons was excellent, allowing us to easily visit Shaolin Temple. They even drove us to the entrance of Songshan Mountain. When we got back tired, they made tea and offered us sunflower seeds – the service was truly top-notch. Finally, I want to praise the hotel breakfast; they had Dengfeng's specialty mustard greens. The spicy soup and millet porridge were also delicious. However, next time, it would be better if the steamed buns and corn were heated up. Perhaps we overslept.

Newly renovated Hotel. Everythimg Clean and functioning well. Very friendly staff, WE arrived very early and could store our luggage at the reception, while visiting Shaolin Temple. Good bed and WE slept well. Very reasonable room prices. Good shower, Free Water and Water Boiler, Coffee and Team bags.

Very friendly, welcoming couple. A very good breakfast every morning. Perfect location for visiting Song Shan mountain area. Handy to Shaolin temple. You need to be fit to climb the mountain. It is hard on the knees, 2.5km walking up, but worth it.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic!!! The rooms are cozy, the newly renovated hotel has a wonderful atmosphere, the lighting is just right, and it doesn't feel stressful at all. The bedding is incredibly comfortable, and the room is voice-controlled. After a long day of travel, you can forget all your fatigue as soon as you lie down. It's clean, and the service is superb!!! The hotel service is warm and welcoming, the rooms are clean and tidy, the rooms are cozy and spacious, and the hotel has a great location, not far from the foot of Shaolin Temple on Mount Song. The room prices are also very reasonable, making it great value for money! I've had more than just a comfortable and pleasant stay; I've also experienced the warmth and charm of everyday life. This is my review of this hotel. Highly recommended for families with children!

During my five-night visit, I found the location perfect—ideal for exploring the Shaolin area while still offering easy access to public transportation for trips to nearby destinations. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-suited to my needs, even for a longer stay. Highly recommended!
