Find 2-Star Hotels in Penghu

The hotel was marvellous, very friendly and informative staff, always happy to give great suggestions of places to eat and trips to go on. The room was luxurious and spacious with a very cool retro style. The bathroom was fabulous with a massive bathtub. The breakfast every morning was healthy and had a great variety each morning

The boss is very enthusiastic, the staff is enthusiastic and the service is very close to the beach. The environment is very good. I hurried over without making a guide. After staying for two days, the boss helped to book the ferry tickets, have a meal, and buy everything that the boss drove. Two volunteers are also very nice, one is from Germany and the other is local. All in all, it was a great experience. Once again, Frank's boss is really very enthusiastic.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sun Palm B&B. Have written this review in English, but we communicated with them in Chinese. We stayed at this B&B during the tourism off-peak season (March). Service - Amazing. They were very responsive on Line, and quick to reply. They were also helpful with our requests/questions (e.g. fetching service to and fro airport, car rental service, traffic road conditions in Penghu) and were polite. They also gave some advice on what can or cannot be done (e.g. we wanted to cycle around Penghu, but they advised us saying Penghu was too big to travel on a bicycle). The driver was always punctual when picking us up, and when sending us to the airport. In fact, he was already there, with the car ready, minutes before we were supposed to leave for the airport - we didn't even need to remind them. The lady boss was very friendly - when we first arrived, she asked if we were new to Penghu (it was our first time), and she introduced where to explore in Penghu, and what to eat. She also told us that if we wanted to do water activities, we can approach them, and they can make a check with the centres to see if they are open since it was off-peak season for tourist activities. We also had some extra request regarding the check out timing, and she helped us with it too. Before we arrived, they also tested the car we wanted to rent, and upon finding out that it wasn't working as well, they provided us with another car instead - this is certainly good service. They also cleaned up the room upon request, and re-stocked the fridge with drinks. Food - The breakfast was amazing and fresh (see photos). On the first day we had bread + doughstick + egg with spring onion all in one package. It was delicious. On the second day, we had vermicelli and seafood (e.g. squid, prawns). The seafood was really fresh, and the broth was simple and tasty. Each dish was accompanied by fresh fruits / pastry + drink, which was refreshing. Room - We got the Starry Honeymoon Room. It was very spacious, the room was clean, the amenities were in good condition, and the overall design was aesthetically pleasing. The heart pillow on the bed was a cute addition, and the round bed was big enough for 2 of us. Above the bed there was a window covered with a retractable screen - you can actually look into the sky while lying on the bed, really interesting.  Location - While this B&B is further away from the main city, we didn't feel that affected as they provided airport transfer services. Also, we felt that it being away from the hustle and bustle from the city was actually advantageous, as the B&B's location had a more relaxed, quiet, holiday vibes, which was what we were looking for.  There is a 7-11 around 10 minutes from the B&B, so if you need food etc in the middle of the night, you can get it from there. We rented a car, so travelling to other areas wasn't much of an issue. Overall, I will recommend this B&B to anyone looking to tour Penghu! Am glad to have chosen this B&B for our first ever trip to Penghu :)

The location is excellent, the homestay in the old street is very style, the environment is very comfortable, but the prescribed check-out time is too early and it is not convenient, but at least the luggage can be stored in the lobby. The room was very clean, the sound insulation was ordinary, and it was all luck to be noisy.

I love it very much. The lobby is very clean and equipped with a 24-hour coffee machine, coffee and milk tea. The service staff is also very enthusiastic, helping to answer various questions, get off the plane and you can immediately find the hotel shuttle bus, you can also adjust the breakfast according to your time and preferences in the morning, and also very enthusiastic to introduce taxis, tourist routes, travel tools, really people are very very good! It's just that I forgot to ask what to call them. The hotel room is also very large, with comfortable heating and a big garden! The hotel is some distance from the city, and the nearest family takes 15 minutes to walk. But pay attention, because it is off-season, there is a wild dog in the weed pile near the hotel, and you must not travel alone at night, which is very scary 😟

The Cp value is high and the scenery is good. You can just walk around the beach at night. If it is a friend who is going to the Fireworks Festival, you can just see the beautiful fireworks show on the balcony!

The location of the homestay is very good, it is very convenient to walk to the downtown area, the room is clean, it is a general homestay, there is no special service place, the facilities are also general, simple and light travel, will recommend friends and relatives to stay.

The environment is very clean and comfortable, there is no noise nearby, the management is very friendly, the accommodation is close to the city, the bed in the room is moderately soft and hard, the shower head in the bathroom is a bit difficult to control because the water jet is too strong, but the rest of the experience is good

The location is in the city center. It is very convenient for shopping and close to the port. The overall room facilities are very good and clean. It is very convenient to live in a backpacker room with bathroom facilities. This is my favorite point. The service staff is okay. Due to lack of manpower, their faces are a bit smelly and they talk very fast, but the service is good and it's hard work. I will choose this place next time I go to Penghu!

The cleanliness of the room is okay. The location is a bit far from the bus stop that can go to Mahgong Main Bus Station. You have to walk to YangMing station around 8-10mins. For those who carry heavy and big luggage, be prepared as the airport shuttle bus will only stop at International Plaza (Fupeng Sheraton Hotel) and you have to carry those luggages to walk around 1km to reach here. This homestay adopts self check in policy. You have to contact the owner to retrieve the info of your room. The phone number display on Trip.com cannot be reached and you have to search on Google to get their phone number. It’s better for you to contact them via Line as they don’t have reception counter. They will never respond on Trip.com so don’t waste your time to contact them via Trip.com.
