Overall, it was great, much cleaner than expected, and we couldn't hear any noise from the bars at night. Excellent value for money. The only thing to note is that the hotel doesn't have an elevator, so carrying large suitcases up and down stairs was quite tiring. Our family room faced the street, and with the windows open, you could clearly hear people talking as they passed by, but it was much better with the windows closed. Also, some rooms might have a slight renovation smell, but this seems to be random – of the two standard rooms I saw, one did and one didn't. If it bothers you, you could probably ask the hotel if they can switch your room. There was a minor hiccup: we booked a family room, but were initially assigned two standard rooms. After speaking with the hotel, they switched us back to a family room. The standard rooms were on the third floor and the family room was on the first, so the three of us were exhausted from moving our luggage up and down. P.S. The photos and videos seem to have been taken with a 0.5x wide-angle lens. The video shows a standard room; the family room is much more spacious and doesn't feel as cramped. The bathroom in the pictures belongs to another standard room, but they're all pretty similar and quite clean.

Really helpful and understandable staff. Gave me a hand with the heavy luggage upstairs. Though the Trip booking made a mistake, the staff gave me a well welcome, especially in the late night arriving. By the way, the shelf by the bunk do need to be cleaned since it was with lots of dust.

I lived in Japan back in 2016, and I spent approximately 6 months living in a Capsule Hotel in Tokyo, so I’m very familiar with the concept and I really like it. However, this was the first time I stayed in one with my partner. We are both tall enough men and I was not sure how comfortable we’d be. However, in the end, we had a fantastic experience. And the value for money is unmatched anywhere in Dublin and the surrounding area. The only issue we had was that the bathrooms were all in the basement, so if you needed to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, you’d have to walk multiple sets of stairs to get to it. And there were also only 3 bathrooms for the entire hostel which was definitely not enough. All in all a great experience and we will definitely be returning.

I found myself needing to stay an extra day in Dublin and was looking for an affordable hotel. That's how I found this one. I was impressed by the quick service at reception. The hotel doesn't have a lift, but it's very close to Temple Bar Street. There are also many restaurants serving a variety of national cuisines in the immediate vicinity.

I so much loved the lodge, it was so very clean, the location was so easy as it is just few minutes walk from the Dublin city center, the most amazing part is that the airport bus 41 stops right in front ot the Abbott Lodge so using google map is also very easy. The service is top notch and the reception is 247. Room so clean and the bed is big even with extra bed for kids.

Great experience. The room was clean and smells good when we arrived. They provided the toiletries, utensils, and they have washing machine, tumble dryer, water kettle, and microwave. They have almost what you need. They are very accommodating, and responsive. The location wasn’t too far from all places that we went. We’ll recommend this hotel.

The hotel is right next to a bar that plays music and has live bands until 2.30am. Our room was on the first floor the side of this, it was not good after a long travel day. The hotel itself was a good location and clean, if you’re going for nightlife I recommend, if you’re going for day drinking and a good nights sleep steer clear!
