I checked in at 11 PM, and the staff were still there to assist me, which was a relief after a long day of travel. The hotel's location is fantastic, with easy access to local attractions and eateries. The room was clean and comfortable, providing all the basic amenities needed for a short stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any inquiries. While the hotel is quite basic and lacks some luxury features, it's a great option for budget-conscious travelers.

Llocal travellersBooked family Premier room. Very huge king sized bed which can fit 2 teens and an adult with enough space to spare plus a single bed. So our family of 4 fitted comfortably in the room. Shower power is great and comes with a separate bathtub, still new. Iron hairdryer minifridge provided. Swimming pool available till 6pm, inhouse cinema till 9pm. Free Parking available. Within walking distance from most restaurants. Shares same management with Ritz garden hotel. Will book again.

FFongLingHostel located in the heart of tourist spots. Famous eateries like Tuck Kee, Lou Wong are all walking distance. Superb location for an affordable price! Not to mention Suky was very helpful and attentive, she had reached out to me first on check-in details before I could ask her anything. The only down side of the hostel is probably the street noise. It doesn't really bother me anyway however those who need perfect silence to sleep will probably need ear plugs. Overall, I'm happy with the stay and will definitely come back again if I happen to visit Ipoh!

Llu_with_a_viewFantastic stay! Clean, comfortable pillows & mattress (without a bedframe - not a problem for us but just so you know). Nice sized room with hanging area & shelf. Good AC. Sufficient amount of toilets/showers, & shower has hot water. The location is great, close to the train station & by many restaurants. Note: reception is inside the compound, not on the street. Check in was simple and service friendly (though one gent on the desk couldn't help us with any info on buses to the Cameron Highlands). Pool area was cleaned daily. Would stay again.

GGuest UserMy cases Abit different..when I checked in , the reception said my booking for deluxe twin already finished, she asked me to move to their another hotel , highway times inn hotel, the standard might be lower than the ipoh inn...Bad experience...the pillow looks old...

LLimStevenThe facilities and the service in the hostel are good.
The room condition is subjective.
1. The damage is not fixed before opening for the next customer use. Not affect the use of the room but is a bad presentation.
2. The curtain rail rack for the lower bed is not concealed, with a screw expose could cause the upper bed user easily get cut which happen to my daughter.
3. When renovation works are off, there is no immediate cleaning of the common area cause the whole place dusty especially the floor. I think the cleaner did come in to mop the floor later.
4. The noise from the neighboring nightclub hopefully they can be off before 2 am.

SSC wooFood and drinks are not provided. The staff has a good attitude. The room is bright and clean. The windows are large and the air circulation is good. It is not far from the center to eat and drink. I am satisfied! I will choose to stay here again when I come to Ipoh.
