Amazing
JJimmy ChewCharming Boutique Stay in the Heart of Ipoh. A lovely boutique hotel beautifully furnished and centrally located in Ipoh. We especially enjoyed the cozy lobby and its charming Art Deco touches. Rooms are limited, so it’s best to book early, particularly during holidays and festive seasons. We stayed in a duplex room, which was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The room was well-equipped with thoughtful amenities, including a hair dryer, slippers, a filtered water dispenser, a Nespresso coffee machine, and disposable toiletries—more than what you’d typically expect from many hotels. Breakfast was very decent, with made-to-order options such as Western dishes or local nasi lemak. There are also plenty of local coffee shops and eateries nearby if you’d like to explore other breakfast choices. The hotel’s location is a major plus. It’s within walking distance of popular Ipoh attractions like Concubine Lane, Memory Lane Market, and Mural Art’s Lane, as well as the famous Lao Wang beansprout chicken. There are also numerous food options around, and it’s just across from Palo 101, a trendy spot popular with youngsters and a regular venue for New Year’s countdown celebrations. We enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and stylish stay in Ipoh.

Great
GGuest UserWe stayed only a night with my family of 4. Overall, I am impressed with the Hotel as it is newly opened, clean and European concept. Reminded me of my stay in European hotels. Given that it is a hotel with sleeping beds only, the facilities are located nearby in the main hotel. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Layout and design are good. Could be nice to have some basic amenities like toothbrush and toothpaste, at least. Shampoo and shower gel was available. However, the bathroom is a bit small, and any movement would make the partition sound, given the size of the bathroom (ie european style, lack of space, narrow). On our day of checkout, the other guests were inconsiderate, as children were running along the room corridors in the morning, whilst we were still asleep. Also, due to the close proximity of the room and partition materials, any sound would make it loud. It was inconsiderate for the other guest to also talk so loudly in the morning at the nearby room. Maybe a sign to show to keep their volumes down would be helpful in future.

SSHAHRUL ISHAI stayed at Manhattan Condo for 3 days and 2 nights and overall had a comfortable experience. The unit was clean, modern, and well-equipped with basic amenities like Wi-Fi, kitchenware, and a washing machine, which made the stay convenient. The check-in process was smooth, and the host was responsive and friendly. The location is strategic—just a short drive to Ipoh town, eateries, and attractions like Lost World of Tambun. The gym and swimming pool in the condo were kept up nicely, and the security system seemed dependable. For families or small groups seeking a comfortable and reasonably priced stay in Ipoh, it's an excellent option overall. I would most certainly think about returning!

GGuest UserFor the price, I think it is a reasonable option.  However objectively: 1. The air-cons don't work well - one of them was leaking.  The staff was helpful in sending contractor to fix while we were out but due to miscommunication (because we have connecting rooms) the ”fix” was made to the air-con that wasn't leaking as badly as the one we complained about.  To be fair they offered to swap rooms but we are a family of 5 and it was a hassle to repack and move so we declined.  2. The hot water was very good despite some reviews.  However the shower head in one of the rooms were such that they don't stay put so occasional splashes happened.  3. One of the rooms wasn't cleaned (we have connecting room) - the ”make my room” card wasn't available in one of the room so we hung on just 1 of the room and left the connecting door open, thinking that the cleaners would clean both.  They only cleaned 1.  I guess we could have outright told reception instead of assuming that the cleaners will clean both rooms since we left the connecting door open.  4. I paid for extra bed - but the bedsheet was dusty - they changed it (or at least vacuumed it) after the first night.  5. The beds were quite comfortable, they offered free bottled water and coffee sachets, tv worked, fridges worked, rooms were decent sized, wifi was ok - ample street parking, the lights were ok but one of the rooms had stark white lights instead of the warmer ones. Location was good, just off the highway and across the eateries in Bercham.  6. The staff were helpful and friendly.  Despite the complaints they texted me and constantly called to check if we needed towels (because one of the room weren't cleaned) and they asked twice if we wanted to change rooms (we didn't because of reason stated above).  7. Suggestion - build a small ramp to go up to the hotel from the road if possible.  It will be helpful for luggage and older folks / wheelchairs etc.  All in all, it was a decent stay.  Price was competitive but cleanliness could be better - and air-con/shower heads can be better maintained.

BBNNLOverall, everything was good, with only a few points to highlight. I arrived in Ipoh at around 7:00 AM and requested an early check-in. Although rooms were already available, I was informed that there would be an additional charge of RM20 per hour for checking in a few hours earlier. Regarding breakfast, due to the month of Ramadan, the offering was reduced to a semi-buffet based on occupancy levels. However, the full breakfast price was still charged despite the limited selection. Lastly, there were no extra hangers available in the room, which was slightly inconvenient.

GGauthier AhnThere was a misunderstanding about the tax that was paid twice, by card first, then by cash but the owner refunded me, the 10 rigngits. The glass on the nightstand was broken. The shower flow was irregular. The other visitors were quiet at night. They forgot to put a cup next to the kettle.... You can get free water on the ground floor from the dispenser.

AAnonymous UserGood Budget Stay in Ipoh After a long drive, I chose Ritz Garden Hotel Ipoh for a short rest. The hotel is centrally located near Ipoh city and heritage attractions. Early morning check-in was smooth, and the staff were helpful in guiding parking at the back of the building. The lobby looks nice, and free parking is provided via an internal sky bridge. The room was clean with no unpleasant smell. Although there was no window and soundproofing was average, the lighting, air conditioning, and bed were comfortable enough for a good rest. The bathroom was clean with good hot water pressure. Heated water and drinking water were provided for coffee, along with complete basic toiletries. The hotel does not offer breakfast, but facilities like a swimming pool and gym are available. Karaoke facilities did not disturb the stay. Overall, a good value-for-money option for budget travelers or short stays in Ipoh.

RRohayaADStrategic location to Concubine Lane and all eateries. All within walking distance including to KTM, if you're back packing. Not advisable to walk from KTM to hotel if you have a big luggage (like me). I might have overlooked that the hotel does not have a lift. Had to carry my big luggage all the way up to 3rd floor. Easy check-in and check-out. Staff were friendly and helpful.
