Overall, my stay was very pleasant. The hotel's location is super convenient for getting around, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The front desk staff were warm and friendly, and check-in and check-out were very efficient, with no unnecessary waiting. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom facilities were well-maintained, hot water supply was stable, and the amenities were complete. The public areas were clean and elegant, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of choices that suited my taste. The only minor drawback was that the lighting by the window was a bit dim, but it didn't affect the overall experience. The value for money is quite high for this area. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I'm passing through, and I recommend it to friends who are traveling.

From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was smooth, pleasant, and highly satisfying. The housekeeping team clearly does a fantastic job ensuring everything is spotless before guests arrive. The bedding was fresh, the towels were pristine, and the overall room environment felt very hygienic and comfortable to rest in after a long day of exploring.Staff & Front Desk Service, A huge highlight of our stay was the staff. The front desk team was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. They greeted us with warm smiles and handled our check-in swiftly. Throughout our stay, they were always ready to assist with directions and local recommendations, making us feel right at home.Dining & Room Service. The breakfast provided was absolutely delicious. There was a good variety of options to choose from, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. It was the perfect way to start our mornings. Additionally, we ordered room service during our stay. The food arrived hot, the delivery was prompt, and the service was executed with a great, polite attitude.Minor Issue Swiftly Resolved. The only minor hiccup we encountered was a slight drain smell in the bathroom upon arrival. However, as soon as we notified the staff, they took immediate action. The maintenance team settled the issue completely and efficiently, showing just how attentive and responsive the hotel management is to guest comfort.

My stay was disappointing. The room was very hot when I arrived and remained uncomfortable, definitely not ideal in warm weather. The surroundings and ventilation need improvement. The toilet was dirty, and the sliding door did not close properly it hung awkwardly over the rim. I have to do it myself to make it inside the rim so it can slide better. Breakfast was okay only and not attractive. They mentioned a tablet would be provided, but it wasn’t. Also, no one answered the contact number for inquiries. I expected much better for the price. Overall, this place is only for Instagrammable.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay at Meritin Hotel, Kuching We stayed at Meritin Hotel from 15–19 August 2026 during our golfing trip and had a very pleasant experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast offered a reasonable spread of both Western and local dishes, with one of the main staple dishes changing daily, which added a nice variety during our four-night stay. The location is excellent, right in Kuching’s Chinatown, with plenty of cafés, local eateries and street food within easy walking distance. What impressed us most was the warm and friendly hotel staff. Special mention and appreciation to Akmal Hanif, who went out of his way to assist us with storing our frozen products even after we had checked out, and consistently made sure everything was fine throughout our stay. His helpfulness and genuine hospitality made a real difference. Overall, excellent value, convenient location and outstanding service. We would gladly stay at Meritin Hotel again on our next visit to Kuching. Highly recommended! 👍👏

The overall is 4.5 stars Cleanness: Super clean bed and bathroom, just the sofa have some dust, and you can just wipe off. 4 stars for cleanness. Location: Quite strategic location, nearly have 555 convenient store, multiple food shop available, and the famous Lepau restaurant just beside the hotel only. The environment also quite, and just 5 minutes drive to the centre of Kuching. 5stars! Room: Room size is big enough, just the sound proof. Would suggest can add the rubber on the on the door frame so that when door close, it will be least noisy create. As I clear clearer heard the door close sound from the beside room. 4 stars for room Overall: Love it and will be my first choice whenever I need to travel to Kuching.

I recently stayed at Kozi Square and had a very pleasant experience overall. The property is located in a convenient area – close to a hospital, which is reassuring for emergencies, and there are shops, a laundry service, and several eateries right on the ground floor. You really don’t need to go far for daily necessities. The apartment itself is on an upper floor (the building has a secure lift). While the room is not huge, it was perfectly sized for two people – the double bed was comfortable, and the layout made good use of the space. Everything was neatly arranged and spotlessly clean. The real bonus was the private balcony, where we could enjoy some fresh air and a quiet moment. Facilities inside the room were impressive: a fridge, microwave, TV, hairdryer, iron and ironing board – basically everything you’d need for a short or even medium-length stay. The Wi-Fi worked reliably, which was great for planning our daily outings. One of the highlights is the 6th-floor shared amenities – a swimming pool and a gym, both free for guests to use. We took advantage of the pool in the evenings; it was clean and had a nice view. The gym was modest but had enough equipment for a good workout. The only point to note is that parking is not included – you’ll need to pay separately if you bring a car. It’s not a dealbreaker, but something to budget for. All in all, Kozi Square offers excellent value for money: modern facilities, a convenient location, and thoughtful in-room amenities. I’d definitely stay here again and would recommend it to couples or solo travellers looking for a fuss-free, comfortable base.

You can use this version: We had a pleasant stay at Roxy Hotel 3rd Mile Apartment. The 3-bedroom apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable, perfect for our group of 6 people. The location is very convenient, especially being close to Timberland Medical Centre, making it easy for us to go for our hospital check-ups. There are also plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Overall, it was a great stay, and we would definitely choose this apartment again.

Excellent location which you can easily find delicious food at every corner within walking distance. Hotel breakfast is rather basic, but why need 1 when u can enjoy the local food nearby. A nice walk to waterfront, though it is not exactly very near. Overall, very satisfied with the stay.

We booked this place last minute after denied check in at another place only to be able to stay at the said hotel after few hours. Forced to cancel and never stay in the unit but had an experience dealing with the owner. Although it cant be refunded but lets assume its a good place based on the pictures alone haha
