Overall, I had a very good stay. The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and the amenities provided were complete, which made my stay enjoyable. However, I experienced some issues with the communication and information provided before check-in. Firstly, the booking on the Trip app stated that free parking was available. However, upon arrival, I was informed that parking was not free and that I had to pay. This information should be updated to avoid confusion for future guests. Secondly, I was informed that I would receive the check-in guidelines one day before arrival, but I did not receive them until I contacted the management myself via message and phone call. There was also inconsistent information regarding the security deposit. One day before check-in, I was informed via chat that the deposit was RM100. However, the PDF document sent during check-in stated that the deposit was RM200. I paid RM100 based on our earlier conversation, but I was confused by the difference. I would recommend updating all information on the Trip app and in your check-in documents to ensure consistency. This should include parking fees, security deposit amounts, house rules, additional charges, and any check-in or video guidelines. Providing accurate and consistent information will help create a smoother experience for future guests.

Room with sea view was absolutely perfect. The panoramic ocean view from our room were breathtaking, green, fresh. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met. Very calm pool to swim. Private beach access was ideal for relaxing vacation.

Comfortable, welcoming, and brilliantly located. Being able to walk to a different, great meal every day made our family vacation so much more relaxing. The hotel itself is excellent for families. Our room was spacious, spotless, and well-insulated—meaning we didn't hear any outside street noise, and the kids slept soundly. We would absolutely stay here again!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Legacy Hill Hotel is a beautifully renovated hotel located in the heart of Kuching. The hotel has a unique design, and although the lobby is simple, it feels modern, elegant, and very relaxing. One thing that really stood out was the excellent service. The two ladies at the front desk were always friendly and polite. Every time we walked past the reception, they would greet us with a warm smile, making us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. Our room didn’t have a hairdryer, so we requested one and it was provided promptly. We also found the pillows a little too soft, and when we asked for two extra pillows, the staff happily accommodated our request. The next day, housekeeping cleaned our room and replaced the bed linens and towels. The room was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was cold, the water pressure was excellent, and although the room wasn’t very large, it was more than sufficient for us. Considering the price, I was very satisfied with the overall value. Another plus is that there are plenty of parking spaces beside the hotel, making it very convenient for guests who drive. There are also many great local eateries and cafés within walking distance. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money, and I will definitely choose Legacy Hill Hotel again the next time I visit Kuching.

Need some maintenance to the shower area, bedside table, door lock, etc. The aircon in the reception lobby is dripping as well. Overall, the windows in the room is thick enough to filter out the traffic sound. The dining area has good view. However the windows need cleaning from outside. Breakfast is basic but acceptable.

Trip.com is reliable, easy to check in and extend the same room for another day. Location is great for this trip. Same building / Walking distance to western menu restaurant Alfresco Kuching.

The location is one of the major highlights — right in the heart of the city and just steps away from the Kuching Waterfront, local eateries, and popular attractions like Carpenter Street and the Main Bazaar. This made exploring the city on foot very easy and convenient. The unit itself was spacious and comfortable, with two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, and a balcony offering scenic views of the Sarawak River. It is ideal for families, couples, or longer stays. Cleanliness was good, and the basic amenities such as Wi-Fi and air-conditioning were provided. However, the air-conditioning in Room 2 was leaking, so we did not use it throughout our stay. As a result, the room felt slightly warm during sleep. One of the highlights of the unit is the balcony view, especially in the evening, which creates a relaxing atmosphere overlooking the river and city lights. Facilities such as the swimming pool and parking were also appreciated. Overall, Riverbank Suites Unit 408 is a well-located and comfortable accommodation with great views. With minor maintenance improvements, it would be an even better place to stay in Kuching.
