"Here's why I recommend this hotel: 1. **Amazing Breakfast**: The hotel breakfast was incredibly diverse, the best I've had in all of Italy. I was so excited and happy to see canned yellow peaches! Studying in London and having traveled to France, Spain, and Italy, I've never encountered canned yellow peaches at breakfast before – I absolutely loved it! 💕 2. **Great Location**: Staying at the Plaza was super convenient. It's right opposite the train station, making trips to Venice incredibly quick and easy! 3. **Modern and Spacious Rooms**: The rooms are very new and generously sized. 4. **Helpful Luggage Storage Staff**: The staff at the luggage storage area were very dedicated and responsible. 5. **Friendly Front Desk**: The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly. 6. **Chinese Food Galore**: Within a 10-minute walk, there are several Chinese restaurants! Who doesn't love satisfying their 'Chinese stomach' while traveling abroad? For all these reasons, I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you're visiting Venice."

"A good place to stay in Venice cheaply. The location is pretty well connected and i strongly recommend taking an independent bus, rather than their shuttle bus service - they drop you off by a busy road and the walk to Venice is not much shorter than the 20min one that you take from the Hotel to a bus stop (and it’s cheaper). I found it very disappointing that my message I sent 2-3 days before my stay with questions, was never read or answered. The room has all needed amenities, and is overall comfortable, however the only table is outdoors. The on-site shop is convenient, with prices not too racked up, so very reliable. However the Hotel restaurant is disappointing. We ordered a pizza and a kids menu burger and fries - the pizza was very average, but the burger was actually just the meat patty and fries?? While it was clearly called a burger on the menu. Additionally, it was neither cheap, or fast service. I’d say this is a good place to stay for a short trip to Venice, especially on the budget, but would not recommend using their extra amenities such as the restaurant or bus."

"My stay was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located, and the overall environment is clean and comfortable. The room decor is simple and modern, the bedding is soft and cozy, which ensured a great night's sleep. Although the twin room wasn't exceptionally spacious, it was well-equipped, and the natural light and soundproofing were both good. The front desk service was warm and attentive, making check-in and check-out very smooth. As an accommodation choice during my Venice trip, this hotel offered good value for money and a satisfying overall experience. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I have the chance."

"I stayed here for 2 nights. The room was just okay for the two of us. However, there was a strong smell coming from either the toilet or the corridor like a mothball smell which was quite overwhelming and made me feel dizzy. Maybe it’s because the building is old. Overall, everything else was fine, but the smell was something I couldn’t tolerate."

"Loved this nice and cosy hotel. One big advantage is that you don’t have to cross any bridges with lots of stairs to reach it. However, there is no lift, so you’ll need to use the stairs if your room is on the 2nd or 3rd floor. The staff kindly helped us carry our luggage upstairs, which we really appreciated. They will definitely help everyone. Very close to shps & restaurants . The buffet breakfast was great, and the coffee was excellent. Suggestion: During breakfast, collecting dirty dishes and setting up cutlery was quite noisy and happened constantly while guests were eating. It would be much better if this could be done more quietly to create a more relaxing dining experience."

"If you're looking for accommodation to visit Venice, this could be a pretty practical option. The hotel is connected to Venice by bus in about 12 minutes, so even if you're not staying directly on the island, getting to the center is easy. The 2 PM check-in seemed quite good to me. Some hotels don't allow access to the room until 3 PM or even 4 PM, so having it available earlier is appreciated, especially after traveling. Breakfast was included and, honestly, for the price we paid, it was quite satisfactory. No great luxuries, but enough to start the day with energy. The room was a pleasant surprise: spacious, with a large bed and another small one, and we also had views of the square, which is always a plus. The less positive point? The bathroom. Overall it was fine, but the shower was quite small and could be a bit uncomfortable. 👉 In summary: a good alternative if you want to visit Venice without necessarily paying the prices of staying directly on the island. Good connection, spacious room, and included breakfast. The only thing I would clearly improve is the size of the shower."

"Stayed for 2 nights. The hotel and the island are absolutely beautiful — a real gem. However, there’s a big but: catastrophic lack of staff. The service level is very weak. You can see the staff are trying their best, but there are simply not enough people. In the morning, all hands are on deck for breakfast. The reception and concierge desks are empty — when we asked where everyone was, we were told: ”Sorry, they're all serving breakfast.” Breakfast itself was a struggle: huge queues for coffee, and tables were left uncleaned. That said, this is the only downside of this beautiful place. Everything else we really enjoyed. Tip for future guests: Don't be afraid to book a room in the separate building overlooking the lagoon. Yes, it's a long walk, but the view from the room is absolutely worth it."

"The location is fantastic. The ferry to Venice leaves every hour, just two minutes from the campsite. The campsite itself has everything you need: a laundry, playgrounds, a café/bar, and a shop selling fresh baguettes. There's an extra 5 euros for a car, especially if you're staying in a cabin. The weirdest thing is there are no towels, but we got over it. It's a wonderful place."
