Scenic Hotels in Venice

"I have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone budget conscious enough to avoid the very pricey alternatives in 'Venice proper'. Do as I did and stay here in Venice Mestre, it is literally across the road from that railway station and there are trains every few minutes to take you the 10 minutes into the waterway areas that Venice is known for but you also pay through the nose for. It is not a budget property though, very worthy of it's 4 stars. Staff excellent, rooms lovely, spotlessly clean, beds very comfortable. Possibly the best shower I ever had, super water pressure. Only thing I missed was a kettle in the room but that's more a UK thing than typical Italy so had to expect that maybe. Breakfast was plentiful in a lovely 1st floor setting, the cooked part not hot but all else was top notch. Definitely stay here again and it's superb value for money, a great find! 👍"

"This is already my second or third time staying here, and I love it so much! It has a kitchen and cooking utensils, which makes cooking super convenient! The room is clean, sunny, and has a great view overlooking a very unique church. There's a supermarket nearby, and it's close to the bus terminus and train station. Plus, there are plenty of Chinese and Italian restaurants with lots of options—you definitely won't go hungry! The staff are also very friendly."

"We absolutely loved it here. We were in one of the older rooms and loved the traditional Venice feel with the draped curtains. The bed was so comfortable- needed after a long day of walking. The linen was crisp, white and good quality. The rooms are thoughtful with water, a fridge, and lovely soap etc. They are huge rooms - but they are very comfortable. The service was fantastic. Everyone very friendly and helpful, but not overly polished which we don’t enjoy - still has heart and soul. Will definitely recommend. Location is quiet - but right by grand canal and Main Street. Everything you want and need."
