SSssdddshalaThe room was a bit small, but the bathroom was relatively spacious. Overall, it was clean and tidy, and disposable slippers were provided.
The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of Santa Lucia train station. The front desk staff were very friendly and service-oriented. The breakfast was just okay, nothing special.
Now for some downsides. First, and this might be a common issue for hotels on the island of Venice (just my guess), the interior layout was quite convoluted, requiring switches between two elevators. Second, the air freshener scent in the room was quite strong.

EElisa ChanThe hotel is located right smack where the big branded boutiques are located, and 10 mins walk to doge palace and st peter Basilica. However the hotel is very far in. U got to wheel your luggage in, which may damage the wheels. Hence pls bagpack 😅
The hotel look Like a mini museum if only u take the stairs from level 3 and walk down. Very instaworthy. The staff is also very friendly and speak good English.
We got lucky and had a room with the balcony despite the room size is tight but it was manageable. I love the balcony view facing all the houses and church. It has the rustic charms to it.

If you exit Venice Santa Lucia Train Station, you need to take the Line 5.1 water bus (45-50 minutes) to Lido Station.
It takes 17-20 minutes to walk from Lido S.M.E Station. If you have a lot of luggage, such as (2 pieces/more than 2 pieces), it is recommended to call a car directly. It is quite tiring to walk and push the suitcase.
The hotel room I was given this time was very large, enough for 4 people~ I booked a double bed room for 1-2 people online (at that time, a friend was still waiting to decide whether to join)~ In the end, my friend was not able to join~ But the room the hotel gave me had 3 beds (1 double bed + 2 single beds) which was a bit unexpected~ It is more suitable for family travel.
The hotel environment is very good~ Facing the sea and spring flowers blooming.
There is a courtyard, lawn and chairs at the door of the room for rest ~ a strong seaside villa holiday style ~

But I didn't see any slippers. Of course, you have to get water from the minibar ~ and of course you have to buy it yourself ~ This is similar in European hotels. It's within the expected situation.
For breakfast - the overall difference between hotels in Europe with a price range of 1-1.5k/night is not big: mainly Western style - bread, milk, juice, eggs, ham, cheese, coffee... Chinese stomachs have to overcome themselves.
Travel is also quite convenient. If you need to go to the main island or other islands, walk 1.1 kilometers to Lido Station to take the water bus.

All the staff are very friendly.
They have upgraded our room because of honeymoon, really appreciate that.
The interior decoration is very vintage and classic.
The breakfast is really out of our expectation.
Overall a very cost effective choice!
Also, the location is great and it is quite near to the train station, no need to take your luggage to cross the bridges!

GGuest UserI had an absolutely wonderful stay at BW Premier Collection Continental and couldn’t be happier with my experience.
The location is unbeatable — just a five-minute walk from Santa Lucia Train Station, which makes arriving in Venice incredibly easy, especially with luggage. You’re right in the heart of the city while still being able to relax comfortably.
The service was truly impeccable, from reception to room service. Every staff member I interacted with was kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. One moment that really stood out: I was allowed to sit on the lobby couch and enjoy a bottle of wine that I hadn’t purchased from the hotel — something that almost never happens. Not only did they allow it, but they brought me glasses and even opened the bottle for me with a smile.
Later, I went to buy more wine from the bar, and even though they had technically just closed, they still served me without hesitation. That level of hospitality really says everything.
Amazing location, outstanding service, and a warm, generous atmosphere. I will definitely come back, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay centrally in Venice while enjoying truly exceptional service.

MModouletianLocation: Super close to the train station and the Vaporetto stop, which is great because getting around Venice's main island means either walking or taking a boat. The island is pretty big, but you can see most of it in a day if you're not planning on visiting every single museum.
Facilities: The hotel's entrance is tiny, easy to miss! The worst part, though, are the stairs. Besides the ones at the entrance, there are so many steps going up and down throughout the hallways inside the hotel. It's really inconvenient if you have luggage.
Service: No one was available to help with luggage, which was a real pain, especially since I had a lot. The front desk service, however, was quite professional, and the staff spoke good English – plus, they were very handsome!
Cleanliness: The hotel is a bit old. Our room window faced an alley with trash cans, so we had to keep it closed.

GGuest UserThe location is excellent. just beside Venezia Santa Lucia station, which made it very convenient for travel. Check-in was smooth, and they offered complimentary luggage storage, which was a nice touch. I didn’t get to try the included breakfast since I had to leave early for my packed itinerary. However, the elevator doesn’t reach the top floor where our room was, so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. Unfortunately, both my brother and I got bed bug bites during our stay, which was very disappointing. The place has a great location, but cleanliness and maintenance really need improvement.

Hotel Malibran may be rated three stars, but the service is top-tier. Everyone, from the concierge to housekeeping, kitchen staff, and waiters, works with genuine warmth. You’re greeted with smiles, and you can tell they’re proud of what they do.
Special thanks to Salvo at the front desk. He’s a standout. Speaks multiple languages, including Chinese. Professional, patient, and incredibly helpful. He gave me a personalized trip plan, listed local spots worth visiting, and never got tired of my questions. Rare to find this level of care.
The room: clean, compact, and comfortable. Good enough for working online without any issues.
The included breakfast is decent: breads, cheeses, hams, and cold cuts. Drink choices are solid too.
The hotel is close to Rialto Bridge, which means the area’s prices can be high, but the convenience and access are unbeatable.
Would absolutely stay again. The staff alone make it worth it.
