"This hotel offers excellent value for money. The environment is beautiful, and the kaiseki cuisine (two meals per night) is delicious and beautifully presented. The onsen (hot spring) is very comfortable; I recommend the public onsen for its even more beautiful view. The private onsen is a bit cramped."

"The hotel is about a six to seven-minute drive from Yufuin's attractions, and there aren't many convenience stores nearby. It offers free parking, and the staff are very attentive and speak good English. There's no public bath and not many other facilities or entertainment options, making it ideal for couples looking for a quiet stay. Each room is a standalone cottage with its own indoor and outdoor hot spring baths, and the rooms are incredibly spacious. Breakfast and dinner are very generous."

"Each room is an independent bungalow with a private hot spring, providing a full sense of space and privacy.
The hot spring bath is very large, so it is absolutely no problem for two or three people to soak in it at the same time. 100% spring water, the temperature is very high, you need to add water for adjustment.
The room is fully equipped with skin care products and mosquito repellent. There are many hand-painted posters in the Showa style in the room to remind guests, which is very cute. The bed and quilt were very comfortable, and the air conditioner could be adjusted to the appropriate temperature (not central heating), so I slept soundly all night. There is a large window at the end of the bed, through which you can enjoy the view of Mount Yufu in the morning light.
The hotel is family-run. The owner is very stylish (?) and friendly. He will help carry the luggage to the room and there is no problem communicating in English.
The hotel does not have a restaurant and does not provide breakfast or dinner. You need to prepare food before checking in. But there are microwave frozen food and alcohol vending machines, which are filled with local special frozen delicacies recommended by the owner. I also tried one of the meat rolls!"

"First of all, the environment is quiet, the room is very large, there is a living room, there is a kitchen, there is a terrace, but it is very cold that day, so I don't sit outdoors. Every morning, the owner's brother warmly delivered breakfast, and prepared a hot pot with Xiyao in the evening (because I stayed for 2 nights). The owner's brother also warmly introduced the facilities in the house, and introduced the Yufuin Yoshikawa place worth going.
The disadvantages are that the location is relatively remote. If you want to check in in one house, you will take you to another house. gps are more difficult to find and take time to find, but overall it is not bad, it is recommended 👍👍"
