This hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Kinshicho Station, accessible from both the North and South exits. You can actually see the Tokyo Skytree from two different intersections, each offering a unique view. The room was a bit small, but perfectly fine for one person and their belongings. My window faced a residential building across the street and couldn't be opened, but the soundproofing was generally good. There was a movable small table, which was handy. Check-out is at 11 AM. A nice touch at Sotetsu hotels is that they provide free bath salts in the lobby on the first floor.
The front desk and housekeeping staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy, and the location was convenient for getting around. However, due to the building's unique design and the lack of central air conditioning/heating, the room felt too cold in winter. Even with the air purifier and humidifier on, the room was still very dry, so I had to turn off the air conditioner at night. It was both cold and dry!!!

I stayed at the Sotetsu Fresa Inn Higashi Shinjuku Station for my New Year trip to Tokyo. First, the good points: The location is great, very close to the subway, and there are Lawson and 7-Eleven convenience stores nearby, as well as plenty of restaurants.
Now, for the downsides: 1. I found a dirty towel in the bathroom (see picture 2), so the hygiene is a bit questionable. 2. The staff had me check in using a machine, and then, after pressing a few buttons, it prompted me to pay for the room again at the hotel... but I had already paid in Shanghai! So I had to start over, which wasted time. In the end, the staff just said 'sorry'... the service definitely needs improvement.
Nice and clean standard sized room for business hotel. Overall is what I expected from standard Japanese hotel with one safety concern of the vending machine/washing machine room. Around 22:00, I found people partying in the room and drinking alcohols sitting on the floor, they are not loud but the room is quite small which make it uncomfortable for those who actually go there to the vending machine or to wash their clothes. I wish hotel staff would regular check the room to prevent the room's misuse and make it comfortable for other guests. Upsides is the hotel is strategic location to reach the Haneda airport as it's only 800m away to Tokyo Monorail station which provides direct train to the airport. Other stations are Tokyo Metro Daimon station and JR Hamamatsuchō station which is 300m and 600m away, respectively.
The location is great, not far from the subway station. There's a FamilyMart, 7-Eleven, Sugi Pharmacy, Kyushu Ramen, and Torikizoku nearby, so dining options are convenient. Tokyo Tower is within walking distance. The hygiene is decent, and check-in was smooth, with self-checkout. The hotel has washing machines, but they were often in use when I returned. There's a self-service ice machine, so you can buy drinks before heading back to the hotel and DIY. The small room size is characteristic. The photo of our twin room was taken with a wide-angle lens. We were able to open two suitcases.
The hotel is conveniently located, about 300 meters from the nearest subway station. Both the lobby and the rooms are clean and well-maintained. The rooms are also quite well-equipped with amenities like a large-screen TV, refrigerator, central air conditioning, air purifier, and a hairdryer. However, there's no microwave to heat food.

Location and self service are about the only things good about the hotel. Location is in the quieter area of ginza with the popular area not too far. The biggest complaints are the size and the electricity outlets. The room is similar to a cruise boat room and you can’t fully open a medium size luggage. The electricity outlet placement and setup is also inconvenient if you have a larger adapter because it won’t fit given the size of the adapter. The other complaint is the bathroom often had a bad odor, maybe from other rooms sharing the same sewage. Given the price of the hotel, I might suggest staying elsewhere.
Fantastic! The location is super convenient, close to the subway, bus stops, and even the Shinkansen. It's also near my office. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety, including fish, eggs, and soup. Plus, the surrounding area is beautiful!
The location was great, only one stop away from Tokyo Station. There are lots of restaurants in the area. Lawson is less than 2 minutes away.
The ventilation fan in the bathroom of my room was out of order. The staff immediately offered to change room for me. I was very happy with their service.
You can request to get another pillow if you are not satisfied with the one they have inside the room. You can get supplies like toothbrush at the ground floor lobby.
This hotel, which opened last year, is conveniently located right above Yokohama Station. It's incredibly easy for getting around and shopping. While it's listed as being at the West Exit of Yokohama, the station itself is huge and well-connected, so it took a little exploring at first, but once you get your bearings, it's a breeze.
Overall, the hotel is excellent. My only minor gripe was with the residential rooms: there was a cold draft in the kitchen area. After some investigation, I realized it was coming from the range hood's ventilation duct. The room's AC was powerful, but after a shower, I constantly felt a chill, so I had to keep the bedroom door closed at night.
The front desk is on the 4th floor. You check in by registering your information, then you're given a QR code to scan at a machine next door to complete the check-in process. The front desk staff also have automatic translators, so communication was no problem.
One other thing: the washing machine is very 'Japanese' in that it has to complete its entire cycle before it stops. You can't add clothes midway or cancel the program. Basically, if the cycle isn't finished, the door won't open even if you turn it off.
Below the hotel, there are eight shopping malls, which are fantastic for browsing! The basement floor has a dazzling array of fresh food supermarkets. It was great to buy things and have them sent straight up to the hotel. Highly recommend! 👏🏻

GGuest UserHotel was very clean, and adequate for our requirements - it's located in a quiet area, yet within walking distance to stations, Akihabara, etc. Kanda has a few convenient restaurants and bars that open till late as well. A 7-11 is next door, for those snacks and what not. Overall, highly recommended!

LLilingshuchiThe hotel is clean and hygienic, and they even provide face masks and bath salts. It's super close to shopping, just 200 meters from Don Quijote, Parco, and Montbell. Haneda Airport Terminal 3 is only half an hour away, and Okachimachi Station on the Yamanote Line is also just 200 meters from the hotel, making it very convenient to get here from Karuizawa via Ueno. The National Museum of Western Art in Ueno Park is a straightforward 800-meter walk. Plus, there are some great restaurants right next to Montbell! All in all, I'm extremely satisfied with the hotel's location!
SShashaxiaojieThe location is very convenient. Although it's not in the city center, it's only 100 meters from Kayabacho subway station 🚇. The room is small, but I was still able to open my large suitcase with a bit of maneuvering. The amenities inside are also comprehensive. What really stands out are the hotel provisions – they offer a full range of disposable mini-packages including makeup remover, facial cleanser, toner, and lotion for guests to take, plus DHC sunscreen and face masks! It's great value for money, and as a solo traveler, I'm super satisfied.
GGuest UserFacilities: It's a chain hotel, so there aren't many facilities.
Hygiene: Very clean, but you need to inform them in advance if you want your room cleaned.
Environment: The room was small, but it was a connecting room, which was quite convenient.
Service: You can pretty much self-checkout, so there's not much disturbance.
Getting around is very convenient, as it's at a major subway interchange, and the Airport Express train goes straight there without transfers. Just ask at the airport subway station, and the staff will tell you the fastest train to take. Once you exit the subway, it's about a 10-minute walk with luggage to the hotel.

VvzwillycThe staff at the hotel were very friendly! They help you with luggage storage on the day you check in and check out. Hotel facilities were decent with laundry machine and vending machine. There is a Family Mart connected to the hotel if you need food at any time. This hotel is a great choice if you want to be close to Ginza and the waterfront area but don't want to pay a premium for the more western hotel brands.
GGuest UserThis hotel offers great value for money. The tap water is purified, which is convenient and safe to drink. Plus, the location is excellent, with easy access to transportation, being very close to the metro station.
