"The room was pretty good. I had heard that the rooms were small, but the one I stayed in was fine, not as small as some online reviews suggested. I could even fully open my suitcase. The hotel gave me a high floor, the 24th, which offered a great view. You could see the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building right across. Downstairs, there are three convenience stores: FamilyMart, Lawson, and Ministop. Every day, I'd stock up on cold drinks and bring them back to the room. There are also many restaurants downstairs. I tried the Chinese fried rice at Osaka Ohsho. Also, there's an underground passage directly connecting the hotel to Shinjuku Station. I found it quite convenient to take my luggage from the hotel to Shinjuku Station this way. However, if I had been out shopping all day and was returning from Shinjuku Station, I'd walk above ground. Otherwise, finding the underground passage entrance at Shinjuku Station would take forever. A couple of times, I just exited the station, oriented myself above ground, and walked straight back to the hotel. Shinjuku Station has way too many underground exits; it's quite a brain-drain, haha."
